  1. Unless you're directly tweaking the stats of the most recently released sports the new ones won't really beat a car like the elegy retro on the track but I agree there are so many cars that can be added still on both the high-end aswell as low-end price range and quite honestly we're kinda' getting to a point I'm failing to understand why this hasn't been done ages ago. The jester classic has been out for a long while now. I could understand them not adding the pariah on account that it has the highest top speed in the game and will outdo most supers. But there are plenty of comprehensive lists (Broughy's to start with) That has accurate lap-times, top speeds all organized based on the class for the dev's to decide wether said car is too quick for eclipse. There is honestly no excuse for the bulk of remaining cars not having been added yet. There's nothing of interest or new to buy anymore for the vast majority of players on this server.
  2. +1 I really liked the snow and it was fun but IMO implemented -waaaay- too early. This would've been fun as a december>jan thing, however all the people I know share the sentiment that it's gone on too long. Plus it really sucks that between 12-4pm it's so bright you can barely see anything at all. If possible I'd like to see it on a cycle too.
  3. +1. For what it's worth I like the impound idea being a more personal one, in other words having a cop come down and I also agree with the sentiment that you should've been more careful with the car if you didn't want it over at the impound lot. But the reality here is that in the mornings it's a nightmare to get anything out and I on an alt myself have waited 45 mins for a cop to show up, then take me to jail for 10 mins for unpaid tickets. (LOL :D) Only to come back and wait another 30 minutes.. Then that cop got a 911 call and left in the middle of the process and had to wait another 20 minutes. I obviously understand PD have a priority they need to follow but it's a little punishing on an OOC level having to wait that long. No wonder why so many people are calling 911 at the impound. Agreed with the statements above, creating an automated system based on PD online similar to what store-robberies has. Where by less than 3 cops online; automated system.
  4. +1 there are a plethora of reasons for medical cannabis to be made more available on eclipse for RP purposes. I'd advise some naysayers to look at some people suffering from parkinsons or riddled with cancers and then get back to me. Additionally it would be cool if we had an added visual effect when used, maybe not the first spliff but the second or something and though not as intense as the other hard-drugs maybe something. My character is an avid pothead IC but yeah finding people who don't just dump it to the server is not always easy because RPly it lacks a lot. Also it could be interesting if gangs that grow weed at a druglab could name their batch of cannabis after their own choosing as IRL so many do. The price would remain exactly the same (The price to sell to the server) but it could add some personal flavour perhaps.
  5. Seems the people who've put -1 to this are also the same people who've already reached that point of wealth on this server that they have no more need for anything. +1 The tax system is ridiculous, the rest of us would want to reach a supercar/mansion status too which now properly sucks if you're like me and hit your first million only for all ur grind to be slowed down by 35%. It's not like this money is going anywhere anyway, it's simply just attempted wealth removal when we've already got so many dudes who hold -everything-. By the way comparing our numbers to numbers in real life makes no sense whatsoever; Busting a tax bracket myth. Some people think if they earn more money, they are in a higher tax bracket. They believe they pay more taxes and may actually have less money left over than they would if they had earned less. ... Each dollar you earn only affects the tax rate and taxes owed on additional income. In real life if someone earnt 900k and was in a lower tax bracket and the next year they'd earn 1 million, according to eclipse logic he'd actually make less money in hand. This is simply not how taxes work. You can't set someone's tax brackets based on the money they made IN THE PAST. They look at what you earn yearly. Also in real life the car I drive isn't counted towards my income tax, I already paid that tax purchasing the vehicle and tax paid over it is dependant on engine size and weight.. My gov doesn't then look at my car and slash my income tax. Yet by eclipse logic my alt courier makes more money than most senior MD/PD. Giving my view on how this could be done differently; I get the point behind the tax, the wealth removal I even agree to a certain extent but the way it's set up this only punishes the avarage player and ignores the poor and very wealthy. Instead of taxing a flat rate over money earnt, charge a tax for either property/insurance (whatever you want to call it) The money you earn stays the same but as you move up on eclipse your costs increases. Keeping a mansion running properly costs money, maintaining that supercar you're so proud of would cost you money. (Let's say 20k a month for super, 10k for sports, 5k for others, keeping their stock import prices in mind) Something similar for houses. This could even add some RP for PD as you could neglect to pay your tax/insurance on your car and thus it's not road-legal and that person better pay up or not get caught or if gone on long enough it could be towed. The end result of this is the same, some wealth removal and slowing the economy down somewhat but leaves the effect of this up to the individual player, doesn't force people on alt characters to make their money.
  6. +1 and the person with keys should be able to store it in the house that we BOTH share keys to aswell.
  7. I get that DCC workers are hesitant but let's be honest here often enough it's better to run three miles to the nearest citybee rather than to wait from a response from a taxi that will never arrive. +1
  8. 1: +1 2: +1 3: +1 4: +1 5: Not sure if that would work but interesting idea 6: +1 I hope the first issue is simply a bug already being worked on, the second one yeah, agreed I think everyone should be able to have two phones, or atleast two different numbers.
  9. Pretty much as the title suggests, it's a great location IMO and a little underused outside from the occasional carmeet that's thrown there or private gambling between people. Considering inside is NCZ and outside is an atm I don't see it being ''dangerous''. A small thing to do but would improve the quality of life there. Also lets me waste my money there even more so there's that..

While I agree the 1k XP thing seems a little bit lower to consider someone as being adjusted onto the eclipse servers. We've all had to figure out the commands, ask questions in the discord for things we don't know. Had to build our IC connections for someone to let us know where the chopshop and druglabs are and I think that system works fine as it is. As for the scamming guns thing, it's legit. They were the person in that deal not interested enough to go to one of the many gunshops -Litteraly marked with a pistol on the map- to look at prices, it's on them. If your new friends weren't interested enough in the game to put in some effort on their own and learn the lay of the land and commands like all the rest of us have had to do, why should the rest of us work harder to acclimate them? As for these people that spend their first week just grinding money and not meeting a single person.. I hate to say it but that's 100% on them. And I was exactly one of those guys that came on here and complained after a week how I wasn't everyone's BFF yet... Well it's a give and take. There's not a doubt in my mind your friend hadn't even made the effort yet to put himself out there and tried to develop some friendships. People are wary of noobs for a reason, please don't think the rest of us shit all over them but I can say personally I've also had your way of thinking and helped a guy I thought was nice to a loan for his first car... He then promptly quit and I never saw that money again, I think a lot of people on here have similar stories. My conclusion is simply that we've all had it hard being fresh on the server and I agree we should help out new people where we can, introduce them to some people in your circles perhaps. But no I don't think we need to now overhaul a bunch of stuff because it's not ''beginner friendly''. It's a true fact that if you're the type of person who expects all RP to come to you while you grind silently in your postal truck and make no effort to meet others... You perhaps just don't belong on eclipse. All my 2cents
  11. Between the druglabs being broken or in-use most of the time, between not being able to rob stores half the time or indeed ANY lack of incentive to sell your crafted drugs in an RP fashion to other players what is left? You can steal cars for a couple K or rob people for the peeshooter they have on them (You're stupid to carry cash anyway) and this should now also be fixed? Seriously coming to a point we may all aswell go back to the pier and start fishing. If you get robbed it's on you, play smarter and consider where you are at all times. I've been playing for three months now, only got robbed the first 2-3 weeks and I haven't been robbed since. If you put some effort into your RP and character you'll develop contacts and after a while you'll know too many people to be robbed constantly... And if I do lose a .50 pistol to some dude ''Hansup this is rob'' style... Oh well, certainly wouldn't let it ruin my day enough to be making forum posts about it.
  12. -1 You didn't think this out very well, stealing of cars is already easy as hell.
  13. My suggestion is fairly simply really; Allow it so that anyone in your vehicle (With you as driver) can set a GPS location on either your phone or in-car nagivation (Whichever you choose to RP) via a simple command that would work similar to how mechanics currently have to send you an offer which you /mechaccept. Meaning your passenger sets navigation giving you a warning asking wether you accept via.. Let's say. /gpsaccept [ID] This would overall lead to slightly smoother gameplay atleast in my opinion.
  14. Wow, just wow Amazing job on this and the clip's spectacular!
  15. +1 I agree people are careless with their cars as it stands though will also say like some people above me that I find the prices you set forth a perhaps a little bit steep. This would be a nice change. Supercars: 15k Sports cars: 7.5k Lower tier cars: 2.5k. (All my opinion) Perhaps we could make a distinction between the visual damage that doesn't affect performance of the vehicle and the kind of damage that does. Keeping visual repairs at roughly the same cost.
  16. Quoting realism is a little bit thick mate, in real life does every officer walk around with MP5's and Shotguns on their back too? And are PD the only ones allowed to posses and own a longer ranged rifle? Because last time I checked you could pick up a hunting rifle in a wallmart of all places in the states. Yet on eclipse if a crim were to own one; bannable offense. I mean no offense but in the way you and other PD members have been talking around these issues on this and other forum posts it's clear you'll say whatever in order to keep anything from changing on you. And judging from what this forum has seen the last few days it'd be a hella popular change infact.
  17. +1 PD can defend themselves against this all if they want but amongst crims it's fairly well known we -are- at a disadvantage. I could take the armor nerf and the removal of the sniper rifle. Having an option to deal with crims where as you don't allow crims to then also obtain that sniper rifle is a massive double standard, considering we face bans for obtaining one. Someone mentioned this in another post the other day, there really can't be double standards. Cops on TS and yet for us that's a rulebreach.. Double standards.
  18. +1 great post and great effort on your part
  19. -1 for me honestly, like wif said I think it's a direct consequence of not driving a car safely, I personally go get my cars fixed at LSC/bayview quite often even if not just for the RP and to keep it maintained. No one crash is going to be big enough to put your car out completely to a point you'd need a wrench to even get it started again.
  20. +1 Remove it, it's never been used for any kind of quality RP and is just used to Kill and do driveby's often with -very- little excuse to even be doing so. And always the same kind of people going around in them, it's tiring getting your car shot up for no reason other than some other dudes amusement. This is glitch abusing and even banworthy in my honest opinion.
  21. +1 like previously posted the 2 car garage interior is actually far superior to the three car garage one. Which is strange.
  22. +1 A massively wanted change atleast on my end. If need be increase the price of said vehicles to compensate. I personally wouldn't mind paying more in-game dollars for a Sentinel Classic than an Elegy, even though the Elegy is better. However there is one thing people seem to be forgetting, what about all the people who recently purchased these cars through credits? I haven't bought any but I sure would be peeved after spending 45 euros on a pixel-car that then later on becomes importable through dealerships. I'd feel cheated.
