  1. I, myself, never been fan of organisations that are taken from real life organisations. Beats the opportunity to make something original. Also I never think that someone who's first post on the forum is factions post, will last long and if you gonna follow the idea of MS-13 then I already see several obstacles for your existence in this city. All that being said - prove me wrong friend! GL
  2. Thanks. You think it will be shorter, but when you finish picking up good screens you're like - shiiieet... haha
  3. With the war over, the daily lives of all the vatos changed and different, more relaxing things were coming up as part of the routine. NLA did not have to look over their shoulder every other minute for the enemy. Everyone could actually chill out and finally go back to the old days. Who better than our vato girls who showed our ese's how to relax... Old friends Misfits are often guest, considering they are also our neighbours and usually it ends up with creating a hunting party, but sometimes it is just purely for fun and laughs that brings everyone together. You would think that all the fun NLA was having at the House of the Holy Vato, were bringing in all the people, but in reality it was the respect earned during the times of war. Other criminal organisations saw NLA as someone to consider when it comes to their existence and place in this state. One such organisation was the ex-Front Yard Ballas members who got into some situation with the previous leadership that lead to issues with The Council. As many of the members decided to split off and create their own set, they felt it was important to reach out and explain what happened and start the new relationship. NLA and newly established Hoover Crips had a little chat and built a basic, starting foundation to the diplomacy between the two groups. Besides old friends, new possible allies, there were other people approaching the familia for their own reasons. Word to mouth, direct interactions or however else people heard about this familia, started to bring in new fishes as well, at least those who wanted to become a new fish of the NLA. The familia bonds that were built between those who were there during the war would never be broken and was thicker than blood, so the new people approaching were looked at with care. NLA has never been a gang, it has always been a familia and it was important that the right people became part of it, because once you become part of the familia you don't choose no more. You cannot get rid of your hermano or hermana that easy. It comes with a price on both sides. After the outside meetings and gatherings and having some fun, it was time to address the important things inside the familia itself. It was time to talk about what has to change, what are the current issues, how to fix all of that and what are the next steps forward. Only El Capitans, Mano Derecha, Comandante and Founding Fathers were present in this meeting as they are the controlling bodies of the NLA. After discussing and agreeing on the future plans, it was time to head out and show the presence of this familia not only in Paleto Bay area, but also in the big city of Los Santos. Now that the war times were behind, it was time to take out the dusted whips from the garages and represent this familia as it should be represented - in the full glory of the vato lifestyle. The first stops of the familia was The Council. It was time to pay the monthly respect to them and build up the already good relationship even further. The first on the list was Los Zetas headquarters. We wanted to do a little meet and greet as well, as there were some misunderstandings few days back, but unfortunately most of their members were busy with making sure that some puta do not snitch on them, never ever again. NLA still managed to meet few of them and they definitely got to meet a lot of the familia members. Obviously the next stop was The Triads headquarters which happened to be right on the edge of what NLA would consider their territory around the barrio they come from. The situation with The Triads was even sadder than with Los Zetas and only 2 members were present at the location. Some things were discussed, like about the upcoming fighting club, Raul later in private asked about The Triads interest in a nearby business as it could be of interest for the familia as well, after what everyone were on their way. While the first stops were known to the rest of the members, where they were heading or what they were about to do next was kept in secret. Only the ones that participated in the meeting earlier knew what's gonna happen next. Everyone gathered up and was instructed to follow to the next destination. NLA was in the war for a long, long time and many of the current familia members did not even know or remember the good old days, all they knew was the House of Holy Vato, so it was time to bring everyone back to the place where it all started and remind about the roots of this familia. Show them who we are and where we come from. A short stop at the barrio was made. Some of the vatos never experienced the fun times and activities of the old-school NLA and were already used to the new ways of the familia. It was time to head out to the next place in the barrio where founding fathers and few other higher-ups used to leave their first ever marks on this city as part of NLA. This was the place where a lot of new fishes, who are no more with the familia for one or another reason, used to show that they can do what it takes. Back then it was a bit different and the skills required were different and as this familia was closer than ever, it was only normal to test their skills in tagging walls. It always was a good day when a wall was tagged with three letters - NLA. Before the tagging, rest of the familia was informed about the expectations from everyone, now, when the war was over. A lot of things were ignored during the war as there was no time to pay attention to them, but now it was important to work on the image and correct representation of the NLA yet again. This day was all about reminding all the vatos about the roots of NLA and one important root was not with us no more. Everyone put the spray cans away, got into their lowriders and were on the way to the last location for the day. If the meeting, that happened earlier, would have happened years ago, then there would be one more vato, one more founding father, present. Unfortunately he went to the Holy Vato before all of this and did not experience what has NLA grown into as a familia. Those who had the pleasure to meet and know Hector aka El Doza, took turns to tell the new ese's about him and what kind of person he was. Their own experiences with him and why we are here right now at his grave. The ultimate sacrifice he made for this familia to be still alive. After the stories, everyone took a knee and gave the minute of silence in respect to the man - Hector "El Doza" Mendoza. Being at such an important place it was time to do one more thing with the vatos in presence of El Doza. Alicia took her turn to speak up and gave a speech to everyone about how much this familia has grown and how much everyone is appreciated and that people have showed their loyalty and devotion to NLA, therefore have earned their positions. It was time for promotions. El Patron took out his famous ceremonial blade and took his position awaiting for the names to be called. Alicia was about to call the first name on the list for the promotion, but she was interrupted by Patron himself. He said "It has been a long time coming and has been put on hold for way too long. Alicia, please stand in front of me!" as he gestured in front of him. Alicia been acting as the Capitan for quite some time, but she never herself actually received the Capitan markings on her neck. On that note the ceremony continued and everyone was called forwards to receive their marking on their neck based on their new ranks. It was a proud moment to the familia as so many have showed that they are the real thing and are not running away from trouble, hardship and will always be with this familia, at least until the death separates them. After the great day with the familia, everyone returned back to the House of the Holy Vato. Soon, the ones that we considered to be our main rivals, but now possible allies, got in touch with us. The war between NLA and WCA was done, that brought up new, common enemies to both sides. But there will always be that one common enemy to any self respected criminal organisation - POLICIA! Officially the biggest gang in the state with power to destroy anyone's life on their own terms without no understanding about the struggle that we go through and the reasons why we are who we are and we do what we do and especially the reason we hate the moranos!
  4. ORALE, I think this is like the first month of NLA.
  5. Good day in the life of ese's. ORALE!
  6. That's it...hands down...this might be the strongest phrase I've heard in a long long time. This shit earned my respect right away!
  7. Hahah the ending was soo good in regards of lyrics and the footage hahah.
  8. Why you guys use (( brackets )) when this is OOC already? haha
  9. GL. Made me laugh about that - becoming part of the council - goal. Maybe change it to - Becoming part of council taxpayers. More realistic goal imo.
  10. Haha, good stuff. Loved the humorous touch to video. And for the girls, 100% you need to show how badass are you!
  11. Not much was changing and days went as usually - gathering up, loading weapons and going out for hunt to keep pushing the rival gang to whatever edge they wanted to end at. To be fair war was the easiest of all the things that were happening around the familia. You could argue that war is a bad thing and good thing at the same time. Every war always brings a lot of sorrow and deaths, but those times makes people to perform at their highest and afterwards brings a lot of changes. Changes was what was slowly happening in the NLA familia. There was never a better time to prove yourself to the familia than during war and that came with recognition and promotions. You would think with the view from the outside the NLA familia was stronger than ever and nothing could break them, at least no one showed that on the battlefield. In reality some cracks started to show up between the old and new leadership. The views of how the familia should be lead and what to focus on differed between the newer members and OG's. Partially due to their own fault the fathers of the NLA started to lose the loyalty of it's members and it shifted towards the one that they saw as their true leader during the time of war. The person that never left their side and was always next to them in every situation - Carlos. One of the newer members expressed their loyalty to Carlos to a point where he started to disrespect El Patron himself, not realising what he is doing. El Patron was not fine with that and decided to set an example and show everyone the ways of the OG's when you disrespect a higher-up or choose to not be loyal. The young NLA familia member going by the name of Joe Wilds was executed by El Patron himself. His body was loaded into the back of a SUV and with few other NLA members it was taken to an undisclosed location. The dead body of Joe Wilds was unloaded from the SUV and dumped into the ocean. Someone who once joined NLA familia as a new fish, now became the food for the fish to never be found. This should have scare off others from doing the same mistake that Joe did and also to show that El Patron will not tolerate such betrayal. Sadly, it might have not worked as expected. After a heated discussion between El Patron and Juan Motto aka El Padre, a meeting was called with every familia member in town participating in it. The familia members were fed up with the old ways and the ways of El Patron. It was decided that familia will decide where the loyalties are and who should be the official leader of the familia further down the road. It could have gone very bloody between the familia if only El Patron would have had more support. Luckily it went without bloodshed. Raul, one of the OG's, stepped in and did his best to put things in their places at least for now, this was not the time to split the family and weaken ourselves when we had a different, more pressing enemy. Few days passed after the inside meeting when Raul suddenly received a text from DeAndre King, requesting to have a civil conversation about the on going war. Raul found it to be ironic, considering the fact that WCA and Vory tried to hit the familia while chilling at the church, just several hours before the text. Raul told DeAndre straight away that he is not interested to waste his time if WCA and Vory wants to play the old song, but this time DeAndre insisted to meet and even reached out to Zetas to be at the meeting. Wanting confirmation that it is not a plan to ambush NLA, Carlos reached out to Jay Gamble and he confirmed that Zetas indeed gonna be there. Now, without any worries, Raul sent a text to DeAndre, accepting his request to meet and talk. There were rumours around the criminal world that WCA fucked up in some way and it cost them a bit, so was that a reason for this meeting or anything else, NLA was interested to see and hear them out. This time during the meeting NLA heard reason from the rivals and agreed to their request in order to end the war that has been going for a while in which NLA familia saw no point for a long time already. By the end of the meeting a few more details were agreed upon so that no petty stuff happens between the groups and another meeting was set at a different location in few hours to finalise the end of the long lasting war. Of course their request was a compensation in terms of money, but little they knew that their own member sponsored this money and still left NLA familia with a profit. WCA sent their members to spy on NLA and to one of the members, who was sloppy and got caught, it ended with him loosing his most loved possession - his car. That car was sold and half of the money went to pay for the end of the war, while the other half stayed to NLA familia. Sometimes to win an argument, you have to convince the other party that they won it for you to actually get what you wanted in the first place. No matter how it was achieved, the main thing was the fact that it finally was done. All that the familia wanted was to go back to the old days where they could just hang around the barrio, drink tequila, smoke some good quality motta and of course enjoy their lowriders. After a long waiting it was possible again and we did not waste no time. Arriving in style in their Albany Primo Mafia style at the opening of a strip club.
  12. Mona Lisa!
  13. Ahh shit for real. Thanks for noticing. Not a biggie, easily can change that ;).
  14. Well done, looks good. I was thinking about using a ready image as well and just add the text, but decided on trying to make the logo from scratch.
  15. Just choose the right character haha and you're good to come if you want any of that Vato blessing!
  16. Here is my offers. MAIN LOGO MAIN LOGO BLUE MAIN LOGO RED ALTERNATIVE/SECONDARY LOGO All the colours for the logo and some modifications can be applied if chosen.
  17. Wait...didn't RP starts with you having it all and slowly loosing it? Boooy...I did not know that.
  18. Let the story of Diego and Gonzales be a lesson to all of us! Vato blessing!
  19. Few days passed and we felt bad about the fact that we did not manage to party with our WCA friends last Friday, so yet again we decided to pack up some boxes of the best Mexican Tequila and of course enough mota for everyone. Everyone gathered together and were off to meet up with the WCA. We were so happy when upon arriving the WCA guys were all there. Of course this was a surprise party and they did not expect, but we all know that surprise parties are the best ones. We handed out the tequilas, gave the bags of mota to the WCA, cuz they are the highest class rollers and they know how to roll a good blunt. It was a blast and we all partied so hard, but I guess WCA boys were not fit for the tequila we brought, cuz all of them got so drunk, so quick, that they started to pass out, left and right, near the pool from all the partying and drinking. I mean party is a party, so we wanted some of that well rolled mota, but the guys we gave the bags to, who were suppose to roll them for all of us, decided to try it and yet again...the cheap stuff they've been smoking daily, was nothing like the mota we brought, so it was too strong for them, so they got relaxed beyond the measures and fell asleep. All of that kind of left us disappointed as they would always act tough, but when it came to real partying they were done so quick. There was nothing to do as the party was over, but we are good friends, so we decided to give them another surprise for when they woke up and do a check-ups on all their cars. They're already poor with spending the money on the cars, so we knew that servicing them hits their pockets hard. One of our guys knew this new mechanic shop where you could get good discounts, so we brought them cars there...must say - them mechanics seemed a little shady... We did not wait for the mechanics to check all the cars as that would take ages. We gave them contact information of the WCA boys and left them cars there to be picked up by the owners when the checks were done...
  20. Prise the holy way of Vato for giving us the place to gather all our ese's and mamacitas!
  21. It was a nice and quite Friday evening and all the NLA familia was getting together to have another great night together. It was Friday, so it could not be a just hangout at the Taco shop or familia dinner. It had to be a PARTY! Obviously parties are the best when you are with your friends, so it was decided to go and meet up with the close friends of us - WCA. On the way there we were especially excited to catch up with our ex-familia member - Sophia. We knew she's in good hands as everyone knows that once you go black you never go back. But sadly when we arrived at our friends motel apartments where they all lived, due to a fact that all their money was spent on fast cars and they could not afford even a low class house, just some motel apartments, no one was around. Carlos made a call, but no one was picking up the phone. Probably our WCA friends were busy at their work or clubs. We heard that they have been very actively assisting Los Santos Police Department with anything they could, some of them were taking their chances in financial sector, that's why the constant seeing around the bank and of course some of them enrolled into cooking classes and management courses. Hard working individuals, not available even on Fridays. Other activities comes first than hanging out. But to not make this trip a waste of fuel and time we decided to make a NLA familia picture for next years Christmas Cards as we had a feeling our friendship wont die at least till next year. As our WCA friends were having their midlife crisis, joining these clubs and spending money on fast cars and big guns, which obviously was a poor attempt to fill out that feel of emptiness, NLA boys and girls decided to go back to the barrio and enjoy their time as they used to - with some tequila and tacos. On the way back to barrio we had to re-stock for the street party and buy enough supplies for everyone so a stop at Sammy's was made. Sammy is a good guy, own that little groceries store and is not even able to harm a fly, sadly, but a lot of people take advantage of it. We always try to support him by buying our supplies from his store. As El Patron was paying for the tequilas and tacos to Sammy, he remembered it was today when the taxes to The Council were due. Would be a bad image to be late or show up totally wasted, especially knowing El Patrons mouth when drunk, so a stop at the new Zetas HQ was next, before the party. Lucky for us Bruce happened to be there as well, so two rabbits with one shot. Donations were done and it was time for the PAARTEEY! Arriving at the barrio everyone parked up and gathered in the middle of the road, tequilas were handed out, tacos were prepared and everyone started to enjoy their day. We forgot to put up a speaker, but it was a nice time of having some chats and laughs in general, especially when some of us started to get tipsy. Although we had a great time, we wished we could have spent the day with our WCA friends and maybe show off all the toys we had prepared for them...
  22. Im not ignoring your comment and I do take in to consideration anyone and everyone, that is why I am replying. That is the thing...no one is dictating us, that's why we are in it - fighting, we not gonna bend to some people that dont know where to put their money and weapons and cannot offer anything more than that. The vato style is not left behind, we just adapted to the war to be able to fight in it and be where we are atm. But it is true that there is not the same rp from us that there was before and it is simply because we are not going to not fight or put ourselves in disadvantage - afterall we are proud Latinos. Our stuff still is not that fancy. Some elegy's, a contender, some drags and few sultans. Besides most of those cars were part of our rp before as we were racing and we via roleplay built them. I would hope that people would understand what we are saying, what we are trying already and stop telling that we are the bad guys or that we have nothing to lose so we decide to break rules or that we are the aggressors in general. It is not true! Look at how we present ourselves in this thread. Not once we have said an ill word about WCA, Vory or anyone we have had a conflict with. I dont think any other faction has CKed two of its members for rp, not because someone got sick of playing. We keep it real in every big update we have and we never lie. We did not even update for a long time because the war rp is not something we felt we should put on our thread. But everyone has their limit of patience and we reached ours by reading one sided stories and false accusations from the other sides, therefore feeding false information and damaging our factions image in eyes of others cuz they did not know our story.
  23. I hope you can see how funny your comment is when you are representing the gang that literally is the reason why we cannot go back to what you supposedly liked. Our vision has not changed of what we want and are offering the server. Atm it's just people who are too salty to let it go and keeps the ball rolling. So how can you or any other of your organisation members comment about what we used to be and how good that was or anything about how it is right now, when we are not the ones interested in continuing what is happening and are only playing the game you push on us. I find your leadership to be with some sort of personal issues, would it be OOC or IC, that is the main problem of everyone doing their own stuff.
