Self-made drug labs would make so much sense in terms of criminal roleplay which would also add to the PD rp, because at the moment there is no criminal growth. The best that the criminal group can achieve is becoming official which gives it's own benefit but that's all. +1

I mean just like the previous poster said - there have been wars and large ones. The last one, where we finally saw officials and mores specifically council to go against each other ended up to be a forum war, just like the previous one and it was won via forum and OOC methods. The biggest opposition to both, the only officials right now, was destroyed via OOC methods. Why? Because the server rules do not support "war" environment, which leads to the fact that the whole war is bunch of DM's, not from RP side, but from server rule side. By the current server rules there is no such thing as "gang association" so you treat every individual as individual. Of course you could target the person, same as any other civilian in the city, but if you put a person at gun point who is part of your rival gang and suddenly 5 individuals, who happens to be part of the same gang as the person you have pulled a gun on, comes around the corner, then you're toasted because you do not have reason to open fire on them, although you know what they will do and that they are from the same gang so action will be taken, while they at the same time do have valid reason to open fire at you because you are pointing a gun at their friend/fellow gang member. Then you get to the reality of what the war on the server is - financial war. The war will be won by those who have bigger financial stash and it goes money wise and weapon wise. The war on this server is like poker, where some players have 10k chips, some have 5k chips, some has 1k chips and some has only few hundreds. So those who has only few hundreds or even few thousands of chips can be bluffed with high stakes that makes them go all in. Of course there is possibility that they can play out their hand smart and even win the encounter, but the amount that the players with 10k chips will lose is nothing and in the end the high chip players will win because they will put high stakes until they get the winning hand. To add to this comparison, then while there is no war, the high stake players charge the low stake players, have split monopoly on weapons and just are sitting there like dragons on gold becoming richer and making more chips for the time the poker starts.

A lot of people have been giving their negative experiences on constant robberies for no reason, the fact that gangs are ruling the streets, but somehow no one who plays criminal gave jack shit about the bad experiences that was being given to civilian players and new players on the server and now you think we should give a shit about the fact that you are not a smart criminal and play as you used to only this time you get a harsh punishment? Dont think so! Im happy for you all criminals sitting in prison for 8hrs. Makes my gameplay more relaxed and happier.

Do you really have to ask this question? It's like any other stuff in RL when something involves an official face. Either it is pushed through really quick, due to public pressure or it is put aside until it is forgotten. Knowing that here you cannot do public pressure as people are too afraid to put their skin on the line, therefore possibly getting a backslash, then it's the second option - put it aside until it's forgotten.

His disconnect on this argument is because he does not understand that this sexism and harassment is targeted for OOC reasons, girl in game being a girl in RL. If that would be a thing for all the female characters and guys would keep doing that even there is a male behind the character, then I could agree that it is purely IC issue and that's it, but I know that players on this server are asking on discord is the character an actual girl and even asking for Instagram and snapchats at that point if she is, to see is she pretty one or not. So this all takes it to a different and totally OOC issue, considering that there are different levels of reason why the female character is targeted. In the end in most cases it ends up being that the harasser is more interested into the person behind the screen, than the character IG and that technically goes as OOC targeting and harassment.

Ahh yes, that is true and we have already met that problem with some of the first members who joined. But the issue in the previous GTA origin gangs that you mentioned has been the fact that in the end the leadership gave up as well. We hope we can find the core, which does not require more than 10 people and from there we can expand further and way easier. We predict that the hardest will be to find those 10 people who will dig the idea, the values and what we want to achieve for the server and sake of others over material values.

You hit the nail on the head with this. This is why this group is not gonna become big in day or a week and we know that we will have a lot of leavers due to the fact that they will want that luxury life, that big money. Truth to be told we already had some of those and they left or were kicked. Our mission is to show example, stay with the lore, stay true to ourselves, not chase money, cars and numbers. It is going to be a long and hard process to weed out those who stick and those who don't, but we will be there, keeping it real haha.

Dear @Aldarine, I must say I am happy that finally a female is pointing this out and bringing it up as an issue on the server. When I started to play on this server, like 6 months go, I joined a big group and although we did not have many females I still saw the overall attitude when players find out someone is a real female playing a female character. It made me sick, because, sure it's a game, but it just went against what I believe in RL and I understood how tiring and hurtful it might get with the time, even considering it was all done ICly, it does weight on the OOC aspect as well as you're not just targeted due to the fact that your character is female, but especially because you are a female behind the screen as well, which is totally an OOC issue. I had a little chat with the leaders of that group to not support such way of communication against female characters and it was agreed, became an OOC rule in that organisation that I was part of. But that mainly was towards the female's who also were part of the group and sadly did not involve all of the female characters on the server. My point is that same as in RL, also in the server, it depends of who is bringing up the issue and who can affect the situation, who can actually do things. If I, as a male, would have done this thread, I would probably not get nowhere and just be called stupid, which was a thing when I talked about it, inside the group I mentioned before. So that is why I said Im happy that you did this thread as it has been bothering me as well, for a long time. Now the second bit of - who can change this or how can we change this? In my opinion it all comes down to the influential people on the server. The example they show to the community. If we look at the criminals, which probably is the majority part of the harassers, then it all comes down to the leadership. If the leadership says - we do not disrespect women or act like they piece of meat, then the members will follow that. But because the leaders do not do that or enforce it, the members just go through with it and do whatever they like. I guess a good example would be our friends JayGambles response on this thread where he cared more about the fact that someone was singling out criminals as those who does this, than the issue itself. So there we have it, the leader of most influential and strongest criminal organisation on the server, setting the example. Rules might be added, reports might be made, but as long as the dogs will not be controlled, they will stay dogs. When it comes to what advise I could give to you and all the other ladies on the server, then I really do not know what to say, because I have not personally had to deal with it, yes I have witnessed it a lot, but that is not the same. The best advice I could give is to try to find the right people, the right group, to hang out with, so that the good interactions grow and overgrow the amount of this harassment until it changes, if at all. Sadly it does end up to the fact that we as a community have to set an example and while there will be players who act like 15 year olds on viagra, it will be what it is. This goes down to a lot of issues on the server, not just this particular one. I hope that you have your fair share of people that give you the right amount of good quality rolepaly. If I happen to meet you on the server I will make sure to add to your experience as much as possible.

I understand what you mean. I would have no issues with lighter rules or no strict rules if only there would be a guarantee that people on the server would play by common sense, but sadly we know it's not the case and a lot of people are lacking in that aspect.

I see your point and I could agree to it to a certain degree. I too have some stuff that I do not like as rules and think it could be different if common sense would be used, but at the same time I understand that the rules are there to keep people in line and not to make it another gta online type of server. So rules, that add to the rp and rules that save people from bad rp are only welcome in my opinion.

So why is cop-baiting specified? And like I said, it is not a new rule, it's specified rule under Fear RP understanding as some people do not understand it just like that.

haha, good one. Well I mentioned all the gangs that I know under each colour and the first ones mentioned are probably the main "claimers" from what I know. Well the issue is that any gang on gang violance(war) is war of economy and it is almost impossible for small gangs to fight big ones, considering the budgets and weapon stash of those that are not just big but rich. I can see that you're confused because this is discussion, not a report about IC issue. I pointed out a current situation in the server and made some analysis of how it goes, therefore I want to hear what other people think about this specific topic. No one is asking to deal with it or put any restrictions. Aren't we allowed to express our views on IC and OOC thing on here? Im asking for opinions from OOC stand point here, so I think this is something that can be discussed on forums or discord.

If you read our Lore then we are actually roleplaying as family of those who were in VLA back in 90's. Now we want to bring VLA back, but as we are the new generation we go as Novo Los Aztecas (NLA) aka The New Aztecs.

Totally disagree with you, besides this is not a new rule, it would be addition that goes under existing RP rule. It's just that most of the people do not understand every situation and it's almost like "if it is not written, then it's allowed". This baiting is 100% example of it.

I love the part about the Council trying to help to promote peace and to encourage alliances. I think that is very noble of you guys. I cannot wait you starting doing that on the server as that would be a great addition and I bet a lot of people would appreciate it. I understand that such big group needs some time to get on the same track, you know, get rid of the old bad habits and try to not get bored and fuck with everyone as there is nothing better to do. So yeah, like I said, good job so far, ignore all the haters, which probably is like half of the server and yeah, keep it real!

I see your point and I agree with it. There have been several incidents of this that I've witnessed and let me give you examples of them. 1. Middle of the town, meeting between Calaveras leadership and Clowns. Random guy, keeps driving by and we, the other soldiers just walk to him and ask to leave. He keeps comming back again and again, obviously trying to bait us to do more than just ask him to leave. Meeting finishes and our boss pulls out a gun and goes "Im sick and tired of you, get off your bike." as soon as he did that, the baiters friend, who had a position on the bridge, right above the meeting place, opens fire from an AK. 2. Two of my gang members, exit the their car and go to their house. While they are till there, this guy runs over and starts lockpicking the car. The gang members approach him and pull out the gun and at that moment they both got sprayed with an AK. I do not believe that it would be hard to enforce this rule, because it would have to go through the same normal player report for Fear RP, same as DM. It is obvious when it was a bait, because when someone baits, they purposely do an action that leads them to get under a gun and always the baiters friends are positioned to open fire as soon as they get "valid reason" to DM.

This is a small suggestion that I believe should be added and is very important as I've seen this happening and it does not follow no logic and from my point of view is a direct violation of Fear RP. Im talking about baiting for a DM reason. Seen many times where a bait is sent to do something to provoke someone to pull out their guns and as soon as that happens, friends of the bait just sprays or shoots the provoked people down. It goeas totally against Fear RP to possibly get hurt and shows no concern for their lives. Same as cop baiting is not allowed and is considered NonRP, same this type of baiting should not be allowed and should be added as fail of Fear RP. What do you think?
