    Gang Wars

I have been saying this many times already that when it comes to criminal RP there should be "gang affiliation" rules that would remove DM rule if in acceptable situation. Right now there is no consequences for you being in a gang. Technically if you look at the DM rule then the only issue is that you have to give demands and you cannot kill if you have no reason to kill in terms of not being in danger or your demands being met. If your gang is in war then that should be enough of RP reason to hit the enemy gang at any point and time without it being a DM. Sure, some people would say it would be another GTA Online, but I disagree as with a well written "gang affiliation" rule in the rule-set it would give the criminals the big part of RL's criminal activities when in conflict. Now as mentioned in the OP I must agree, there is big problem with it as too much has to be done to fight anyone.
  2. Not bad, not bad at all. Did not sound like Mumble rap at all, more like a fast rap...something on the lines of Twista or Busta. Too lyrical for mumble.
  3. Can I pre-order?
  4. As someone who works in current government I can tell you that we have talked about it, we have made some attempts to build it up, but it is a big and serious process, so do not expect nothing soon if at all, because although the idea is good and it should be there, it might present too many challenges to actually work.

    The Rebels

The moment when people are hyping and talking about something that you have no clue about...
  6. Never ever have I liked Mumble rap. Recently for research purposes for my organisation I have been listening to some latino rappers. My favorite for now is Mr Criminal. But in general...lyrical rap it is for me, because the message and the punchlines are important. That is what makes rap - rap.

    Rule Change

Well as someone who is directly affected by such situation right now, I totally agree with what is said. Technically I as a player, I have not broken no rules and Im still being punished just because of an IP.
  8. If your words would only reach someones ears...if only people would play with common sense, respect to others time investment and will to give good rp experiences. But we all know there are less of those who do that by every day. When shit gets repetitive it gets boring, same goes to game play and actions from others.
  9. Actually not bad...just wished your way of rapping would have been bit more serious. It felt like you did it for fun and was just goofing around.
  10. Oi, boys, AK in an NCZ - reported! But seriously - this vato is always down for some good party! Send an invite next time!
  11. I can agree on the mistakes made under adrenaline for sure. Also I am always willing to help a new player to understand the rules and rp better, done it many times. I always take it up to be my responsibility to make sure that members that join my crew or organisation are also educated if needed and informed. And believe me I know a great deal of loosing people to bans for mistakes done under adrenaline. Although it might sound like a "nicer" way how to deal with these situations, I do not necessarily think it is a "better" way as I have hard times seeing it working in reality. But hey, if it does improve the server and will help us, I will put my vote down for it.
  12. I see what you mean but the question is how would the "talking out" benefit the server or the player? What I mean is - if someone makes my rp experience unpleasant by breaking one or another rule, then what exactly do I talk about with that individual? Like 90% of the reports, the reporting party will fight till the end and not admit their fault until admin makes his decision. Do you really expect people breaking a rule and you telling them "yo, you just broke this and that rule" will make them understand? Sure, let's go the high-road and be the super positive thinking person and see only the good in people and do what you're saying. I talk to this person, I tell them what they did wrong, try to educate and they agree with me. But at the same time, how do I know that this person has not had such conversation before and been guilty before and is just telling me whatever I want to hear just to get rid of me. How will we control those people?
  13. Greeting to you and it is nice to see a possible high quality roleplayer. Dont get too excited as sometimes it does require some time and effort to have a good/deep roleplay scenario here as most of the stuff is not to a high level, sadly. But nonetheless more good roleplayers will bring the level of other's rp up as there will be someone to learn from. When you say text based RP are we talking about other GTA servers or something like RP-nation forum?
  14. There is no such thing as requesting devs to add a buyable location for any of the factions. I've only heard stories of one specific place that might have been added for a faction, but those are stories. If the place is not put up for sale then you have to wait until it will happen. Recently a lot of new properties were added in terms of houses, warehouses and build-able properties, so there is not much of unused locations left which means that there is a high chance that with the upcoming property adds, yours might pop up for sale.
  15. Do you guys have face-control?
  16. Personally never liked ideas of re-creating RL organisations ig. Besides you are saying that you are tired of the typical cartels around, but then you list what AP13 do and it ends up being the same stuff that any other typical gang does. So how exactly from RP perspective this faction gonna be different? The only different faction and Im not saying cuz Im in it, is NLA. A Latin gang that has said no to narcotics (do not cook drugs like the rest), has their territory/place where they hang out like 80% of the time (does not chill around bank) and closely follow their background story and what they do. But yeah, Im keen to hear more about your original ideas of how to present this organisation and what exactly is that cherry that will set you apart from others.
  17. I would guess the courses would be up to date to the training that they would receive at each of the organisations.
  18. I dont know, I have to disagree with you. If a person is willing to put in some extra money and do preparation for any of these organisation by studying before applying, it is only applauseable. Remember that not everyone will go to university to do a law enforcement course. So there is still gonna be cadets with no knowledge. All it's gonna do is make it easier for the cadet to pass the actual FTP's and easier job for the officers conducting the FTP's.

    The Valors

I mean no outfit is owned by no one...tehnically, some might say different. But yeah, we liked those jackets at Vice 2.0, so decided to use them. But like Vova said, many things have happened and outfits at the moment are not set at all due to security reasons.
  20. Oh yes, please yes, Im like always having to go through 10 bags just to find what I need ;( Im trying to organise them in a way I can know which bag is which, but it is still confusing and takes some time to find the right one, especially when it comes to drug ingredients.

    The Valors

Thanks to both of you and yeah, cannot really go around and have a chill RP when you have enemies all around, waiting for every chance to mess with you.

    Los Zetas

I can imagine him asking about the charger and receiving some "bad mouthing back" like calling him an idiot or something on those lines to which he maybe responds with same "bad mouthing" or borderline comment back and after that the rest he described is a valid scenario. Wouldn't you agree?
  23. This is OOC section, so anything shown here is not to be used as IC information otherwise it would break Metagaming rule. Keep this rp you're doing either in appropriate IC sections on the forum or the best - ingame!
  24. Haha, nice. Troublesome teenager to a police couple would be fun rp. I hope you buy the guy a car as an adoption gift
  25. This is a well presented case of how unrealistically the rule works in reality on the server. At the current state of the rule there is no point to try to stop or give demands to anyone who is sitting in a vehicle with its engine on, because the player does not have to comply as they are not under FearRP. Considering the fact that the whole concept of the FearRP is to make sure that you have value for your life, then this specific section of the rule does the opposite - it gives the invincibility factor to the player. In a hypothetical scenario where you are sitting in a car with engine on and an individual approaches you, pulling out his weapon, aiming at you through the passengers window and demanding you to get out of the vehicle, you are not considered to be under fearRP rule, so you just hit the gas pedal and drive 100m ahead. What has happened at this moment is - the individual has triggered a "valid DM reason" as he tried to rob you, put you in harms way by aiming a weapon on you, so you either get out of the car and kill the person or you turn around and ram the person in whichever way you want. The example given above shows how does these two rules interact with each other, nullifying one and boosting the other. It also shows both rules conradicting with each other because you have a valid reason to attack as the individual put you at harms way, but seconds ago you did not have to comply as you were not assumed to be in any danger. And it all is just due the simple fact that for some reason a vehicle seems to be considered as a tank. I do understand the whole idea how this rule was made and I do not think that there is any blame to it as it is a correct idea, because you could be able to run away in certain situations. I, myself, believe the problem is in the fact that when a report happens there is no distinction between direct way the rule is written and analysing the situation by using common sense. I have seen RP servers, especially in SAMP where roleplay term "Common Sense" aka "CS" is used and is part of the rules. I could see why it is not used here as it would end up being just matter of opinion and understanding of the same situation, but in different ways. Nonetheless when it comes to RP where we try to imitate RL in a game - CS is what puts it apart in every action we do, in every rp we make, at least for some of us. As the original post has explained - either have consistency and clarify "Sorry, but yes, this is how it works" or do some adjustments.
