However it should save all your contacts, and the payphone idea is cool You should use phones for RP and not just to call a taxi when you get killed... dawpi Posted December 20, 2019 Report Share Posted December 20, 2019 The idea itself would make a lot of sense, for example, upon your death a mobile phone could be picked up and contacts could be seen and/or contacted. There could also be a way to protect it, for example, a code on your phone or something like that. On the other hand, a lot of people have said that it would just destroy your character's development and it would affect it very much, that is the main reason why I do not want to see such thing implemented, it would be a huge sit-back for the character itself. So you'll have a phone in your inventory and once you get robbed/killed you need to buy a new one at the cellphone store. (the hecc was this change??) - Save sent messages as well as recived… - add missed/made/received calls to the phone history Etc. I'd suggest adding more information, for example, like Jasmine said, certain features. If it had different features for each phone, I'd be +1. CaesarSeizure Posted January 2, 2020 Report Share Posted January 2, 2020 @Jasmine I think what you are suggesting would be better off as a new suggestion, as this one is lack luster. -1 as this was mentioned not too long ago, there currently are no payphones etc. So forcing people to have to buy a phone after getting robbed or dying is dumb. How do you expect to get anywhere after you die? You can't call a cab, you can't call friends, you are just stranded until you buy a new phone. Additionally, i think that having "brand" phones is just pointless. all we need is a better phone UI, rather than limiting features to which fictional phone you buy.
