  1. Since I don’t have my laptop, not able to write an essay out, but made me chuckle when I read ‘announce before using force’ in the original post. Since it appears this is mostly mentioning the UK, breaking policy as long as you can justified will land you no punishment or reprimand. Breaking the law is another matter. Announcing the use of force prior to using it is a choice for a police officer to make. Personally I’d never unless I was trying to challenge someone for the purpose of ‘scaring them’ into surrender. Whether someone deploys a baton and strikes or PAVA spray — officers can announce or not, up to them, though advised not to so the person remains exposed and ‘vulnerable’ to those being effective. Tasers, similar to red-dot challenge on the taser, is a choice of an officer. I have seen a person being tased with nothing said, and I have seen an officer say ‘I got my taser out’ or yell ‘TASER TASER’ prior to deploying. Also TPAC trained officers WILL NEVER announce or give ‘demands’. If they want you off the road, you are coming off the road.
  2. This is a killer sentence. I just stopped reading from this point on.
  3. This is actually sick, the only reason I'd ever reinstall Rage.
  4. But the same concept applies to the rest of the United States, and that's where the State of San Andreas is being roleplayed as. New York? You can pay online. Texas? You can pay online. Washington? The answer remains, and that's just to name a few, you can google the rest of the states as you see fit. You can pay online. California was an example, hence why I said "just an example".
  5. But this isn't Canada, though. In California, you can pay it in person, by phone, via mail or online — so why not present that option to the players? That's just an example from the County of Santa Clara; https://www.scscourt.org/self_help/traffic/paying_fines.shtml
  6. that's not factual, i spent 99% of my time in the field.
  7. Never thought I'd find myself agreeing with this, but it's probably the best comment here by far. You deserved a like from me!
  8. damn! you've been here a week!!!!!
  9. Absolutely not. Real-life money should never ever be used to purchase in-game currency. It would literally mess things up, make it worse than it is. No. Only if this currency thing is internal, not reliant on credits.
  10. I'm glad I got to be a part of this, what a journey. My "hoya" will get me some record deals in the next couple of years, I smell it.
  11. That's not available, unless specific factions show on what their uniforms look like -- and that can be found within their respective sections, faction sections.
  12. The prison breakout part is factually incorrect, there have been, and I have been involved myself where Irish have broken out from prison, with the necessary approvals without taking and/or having a hostage. The prison breakout depends on your role-play interests rather than the script, and how far are you committed to the role-play. Even when the person escaped, they were caught back and charges were placed -- they weren't angry, just because of the role-play everyone got to do, which was one of the best things I've seen thus far. Hopefully more people push themselves up to those standards, rather than just escape and log out. Electric boxes wouldn't be realistically in an area that could be easily accessible by an inmate or two, just because... we know what can happen. If doing it, doing it realistic is something that should be looked at, not for the sake of let's smash.
  13. Not necessarily. There could be OOC issues on why people aren't responding to calls, and they should be addressed. You can see both calls whenever someone calls for "both", otherwise you have to go into the MDC and look up different, individual calls. If there'd be a redirect system, where a call would be redirected to another department for... whatever reason, it would be more realistic and convenient. But then... you'd expect MD to be around.
  14. The law is the law, and it will be enforced. If you wish to suggest certain changes to the penal code, it would be best if you use the government website and write them up as an In-Character (IC) email and sent it to @Lewis (Lewis Langley) on those forums, and a change may happen, you never know!
  15. I am true London blood, sorry, not Polish.
  16. This addition, the torso, would be very helpful in making my sexy body not to clip through most of the clothing. I'd also petition for removal of pink hair. Add it! Add it!
  17. We do need a new Chief of Police, you got my vote! Welcome!
  18. Add this, but not paintball, weird. I am in agreement with Bala on this one, I do not want to see a squad in 50 or so players pull up for the memes in wheelchairs -- we already know how it can turn out. Having an approval for this before gaining access and whatnot, seems the most reasonable before it gets actually abused to an extent where it needs to be removed or a rule has to be imposed to limit it.
  19. There is a real need for it. Players could play between one another and enjoy themselves. The purpose of a paintball in real-life isn't for LEO training, but rather type of entertainment. Having this arena is not going to be "a paintball server", but rather give something outside of the normal role-play or just driving around. Yes, this could escalate into server-wide events and become server tournaments and whatnot, but it is very ignorant of just saying "no other real need for it, but PD and SD". You make this look now like PD/SD server, and everything should be for them only, otherwise there is no need for it. You can make that people need to pay for it and so on, just like you can go in real-life and shoot some paintballs at your friends, or take it competitively.
  20. Thought there'd be a song attached to it. Hail to the update!
  21. I’d love to hear more on this and who told you exactly what, with evidence, of course.
