  1. Looking to get $2M for my Hakuchou Drag bike Contact me at #5206798
  2. Most of the supers that were in the game in 2017 were available through dealerships like any other vehicle, but they were later removed because literally every criminal had a super and it made things incredibly unrealistic. Also, the rusty tractor was available through the credit store in 2017, and I was one of the unfortunate souls who spent real money on one. I usually leave the stupid thing somewhere on the map for people to RP with and every once in a while I either see someone driving it, or I get a call from the police about someone running away on it.
  3. Date and time (provide timezone): May 17, 2020 Character name: James Jabumpkin Issue/bug you are reporting: Unable to import melees weapons Expected behavior: Click import, trucking order goes in Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Following the ammo addition to gun stores, I am no longer able to import any of the melee weapons. Upon clicking the import button, it tells me the item is currently unavailable to import.
  4. The current system for paying for a blip is to wait for your current blip to run out, then call a Weazel employee, hopefully there's one around, and if there is, pay for it. This causes a loss in business revenue for certain businesses, due to the fact that your business is practically invisible for the period between the blip running out and you being able to order a new one. I understand that this system is likely in place to prevent people just buying a blip for literal eternity and never having to go into their business. I personally recommend that you be able to add the maximum of 7 days on your blip, but on the last day before the blip runs out, so that way, you're able to keep your blip up, and still have to go in every 7 days.
  5. Don't think it is. Also, speaking of forum knowledge, you know there's a "Signature" feature right? Don't have to copy paste that whole shabang every time you post something.
  6. As someone who has been pretty high up in staff and is neither in a gang nor PD, I can tell you that the entire 2nd statement is extremely incorrect. There are staff master policies in place to prevent members of staff from handling reports from their own gangs, factions, etc, to prevent biased action. It's entirely not an issue for staff to be involved in gangs, factions, etc, in fact, it's entirely encouraged. Being in a large group greatly improves your roleplay capabilities and gives you lots of reference to work off of. Let alone the fact that it would be boring as hell to be barred out of 90% of roleplay simply because you're staff. Staff isn't paid to be your personal caterer and supervise an entire server 24/7, they aren't paid at all, but they do it because they enjoy roleplaying on the server, and have been for a long time, and they want to help others get the enjoyable experience that they had.
  7. The speeds of the vehicles were intentionally dumbed down when creating GTA 5 due to the fact that driving around a 7-mi long map, packed with AI traffic, going 250MPH would make the game a lot less playable. As well as adding a smaller gap between sports cars and super cars. The amount of vehicles, super or not, that could go over 240 km/h is very, very small. A top speed race in GTA to begin with leaves very little to be desired, especially since RPly, they're the same car. The only thing increasing your speed in the cars that COULD go over 240, was your framerate, which has no place in RP in my opinion.
  8. It's /vr 1, but for speakers. /sr <speakerID>, so if you come into range of a speaker that was playing and you can't hear it, you can reset the audio for it.
  9. Also, bear in mind, the tax is applied when money is added to your salary, not when it's pulled out. So if you were to receive say a $600,000 check to your salary, you will be pushed into the 35% tax bracket, but the $600,000 will only be taxed the 15% (or 0% with VIP). This works the other way around, as well, if you were to go down a tax bracket by, say, buying a house. The money that's in your salary has already been taxed, there's no changing that.
  10. Looks like with the new clothing inventory, we'll be able to wear both undershirts and tops. Ah, sorry, I did tinker with the torsos, but I didn't notice they added gloves. I don't think the work needed to implement them is worth sparing precious development time over various other suggestions though, honestly.
  11. +1 on the suggestion, however I did find a few issues. I went through RageMP's documentation, found here https://wiki.rage.mp/index.php?title=Player::setComponentVariation https://wiki.rage.mp/index.php?title=Player::setProp And there are no clothing ID's for gloves, which is likely why we do not have them. Adding gloves would be a RageMP issue, rather than an Eclipse issue. As for the undershirts, they do work, some of them requiring specific torso variants and whatnot, but the majority of them work with most of the tops, so I believe they should be fixed.
  12. Quite honestly, I've never been in their shoes, but I'd imagine with the purchase and designing of a night club / bar, you sink a LOT of money into it, only to net a few spare pennies at the end of a random Friday night. There are several clubs that have managed to be successful due to their connections with various larger members of the community, but the majority of night clubs are generally one or two nights only and then they sell the place. There are tons of really cool ideas that could be acted on with the buildable properties, but some have yet to come up and others have just straight up failed. I do agree with you, it would be nice to see these businesses strive, but to be quite honest with you, planning to run a business and actually running a business are two entirely different things.
  13. Jabumpkin's Sidearms is interested in seeing what you might have to offer. Contact us at 520-6798 and let us know what we can do for you!
  14. I don't even know how to react to this
  15. Simple request really, when looking at our taxes and debt tab, we get to see exactly how much we are worth with our total assets. It would be nice if this would provide a list, telling us what each object we own is worth and how it adds up. As it is, I have quite a few Import cars and I have absolutely no idea if they count towards my assets or not.
  16. They're free to make new alts, but transferring the money to other characters of theirs would be entirely against the transfer rules. If they're caught, it's pretty much a perma. Also, once you have a character that isn't "New Player" anymore, none of your characters will be "New Player".
  17. In your 1+ years on the server, have you ever tried hunting? Tends to use a good bit of ammo if you just go out and have fun with friends hunting. Most don't even use their guns because they would have to buy an entirely new gun to refill it, which comes at a good price, not equivalent of what you would make from hunting. I get that you're trying to limit criminal access to ammunition, but it's just poor RP to cause a civilian to have to break a law in order to have more ammo for their gun. It's either buy it illegally, or buy a second gun, which makes no sense.
  18. This has probably been posted hundreds of times, but I'm going to suggest it again. Gun stores should be able to stock and sell ammo by itself, especially with the laws against carrying multiple weapons. The current way to refill your ammo is to buy an entirely new gun, or to buy it illegally. There should be a legal way for someone to refill their weapon with ammo, and gun stores would be the perfect place to do so. Obviously the import price of the ammo should be significantly less than 1/50th of the import of the gun it goes to.
  19. Pretty straight forward suggestion. Currently, and ever since release, gas stations have been limited to 20,000 liters. Nowadays, the demand for it has that running out in less than 2 days. While running out is a manager error in that regard, it damages the player in regards to the fact that at times, 3-4 gas stations at a time end up running out of gas, and then they have to wait for a trucker, or run the loads themselves. I suggest raising it several times over, as the player base has increased drastically since the release of gas stations.
  20. +1 from me. Only issue I may have with this suggestion is having a single supply point, leaving it as a serious criminal camping ground for those who have a bit more power than others. While it does provoke RP in some situation, it degrades it in others. The supply points should be in multiples, that way, Ed sees a group of cars sitting at the supply store, so he either decides to take the risk and go in to buy his supplies, or he takes a detour and heads to another store. Yes, he can still be followed, intercepted, or they could be camping there too, but much like the drug drop-offs, it adds an extra point of "which way did he go?", which is nice. Besides that, I like the idea of stepping away from the "public" drug labs and going into a much more discreet cooking situation, where you know you CAN get caught by the cops, because they're not OOCly trying to avoid the area. As a criminal, you gather the mindset that SD and PD aren't supposed to enter the drug labs under any circumstances unless they've recently encountered someone, and that causes a lot of issues when it comes to Criminal interaction with law enforcement. PD and SD actively being able to search for the drug labs would definitely be an improvement on the RP overall.

    The Misfits

Rob Gordon Rob spent his childhood life as happy and occupied as one could be, sharing every day with his brother James Jabumpkin, playing on swingsets, the classic children's games, yknow? In his teen years, his father decided to leave his mother for another woman and moved out of town, leaving Rob and James with their mom, who raised them and treated them with amazing care. Upon reaching adulthood, James decided to move to Los Santos to seek work, while Rob stayed home, working at a small security company, watching over the ports in Liberty City. After a strange situation where multiple containers were robbed and emptied out, Rob was fired from the security company and urged him to leave town and make the move to Los Santos himself. Upon arriving in Los Santos, Rob applied to the Los Santos Police Department, where he was swiftly hired and trained. Rob in his PD days, standing alongside Officer Felix Hernanz During his time in the LSPD, Rob took on the role of Human Resources, where he took the duty of interviewing, hiring, and training individuals to help protect civilians from low-life thugs and personal safety issues. After a bit of communication between departments and relationship building with various members, Rob managed to land a spot in the Air Support Division, where he learned to properly inspect and operate small helicopters in the use of a supportive role during pursuits. Several months went by when Rob was responding a tip that an armed criminal, presumably from the Ballas (original version), was robbing an individual on the side of Route 68, near the airplane graveyard. During the response, he spotted the individual running into a workshop and decided to follow. When Rob entered, the individual already had eye contact with him, pistol raised and ready to fire. Rob's only response was to open his eyes wide, fearing for his own life, as the man decided to fire a single round into Rob's upper chest, knocking him to the ground as the man made the run for it. The individual made his way into the desert and was never seen since then. Rob's backup shortly arrived and found him unconscious in the shop and took him back to Pillbox to attempt to save his life. After extensive weeks of surgery, he began his rehabilitation and requested to move away from town and live with his father, in order to learn more about himself. Before doing so, Rob left his resignation letter with the LSPD so others can take his position and build the PD to something better. After years of rehabilitation, Rob had built a bond with his father, and decided to take on his name, Gordon. He made his move back to Los Santos to attempt to rejoin the LSPD and rebuild his life there. After a short few weeks within the LSPD, he realized he was not capable of performing the job anymore. His physical capabilities were not up to par with that required of the LSPD. So, Rob took to the streets and decided to just be social, try to make friends, etc. Doing so, Rob ended up running into a fellow named Brad Gordon, and discovered that he was the son of his dad, making him his half-brother. They decided to hang out, becoming good friends and just all around having a good time. After a bit, Brad decided to inform Rob that he was in a group of individuals who, in entirely illegal ways, dedicate themselves to protecting innocent civilians, calling themselves the Misfits.. Rob decided he would take part and joined in, making him a Misfit. From here, Rob still wasn't completely comfortable joining in on the occasional gun fight, due to his physical condition, so he positioned himself as a driver, making sure everyone is safely transported in and out of each situation. to be worked on...

  23. Apparently the partID in RageMP has changed for plates and they haven't documented what the new one is.
