+1 would like to see a fitness and body type system introduced, would definitely add more to the RP. Would be a great addition for criminals, as it is one of the things criminals do in real life, which is work out in prison. Would allow for physical tests for LEO/DOC/MD. Would create more realistic situations when people interact. Regarding the equipment, i think the current furniture could be used, as right now its just a decoration. I don't think that it should increase max health, cause a bullet doesn't care. Instead it should decrease damage taken from fists/blunt melee weapons.

Buy your own truck? With the RV nerf, having your own truck is a good choice if youre doing scripted jobs. Would even make it easier to just take jobs as they come up.

If this was a thing, it should be harsher than PD to not allow any corruption and no corruption permission to be granted, maybe down the line, but considering it would be a new thing corruption would ruin it from the start. Regarding voting, i believe using the most common practice in the US would make sense, that is to not allow people who have committed felonies for a certain time. This would allow people to regain their voting rights after some time, but would prevent constant felons from influencing the vote and the general state to be more in favor of crime. While the OOC corruptions rules would likely protect against that, this would give people who are turning their life around to be part of the change, while not allowing constant felons to influence votes. I think what could also work is allowing for 1 voted in government official to sit at the table, this would mean that when the commissioners are discussing potential changes, 1 person on the table would be in a position to represent the people and might even be pushing for changes that the commissioners do not. It does not have to be a mayor, but representing the people is something the server could benefit from.- 71 replies

I think there is a deeper problem here and honestly just letting anyone post ads would not turn out well. What the problem is that clearly people do not see the point in working in weazel, and other legal jobs are having a similar issue. Weazel has only 32 people on the faction roster, which is the lowest legal job faction on the server. To give some comparison, you have Bayview with 37, which lately has seen a decrease in activity, DCC has close to 100, but you do not see high numbers of taxi drivers, unless during an event they are doing. So the problem is that there is no incentive for people to actually work at Weazel and this is something that both staff and developers need to work on to create an environment where working for legal jobs (im ignoring PD on this part due to significant difference in what the faction does) is worth it.

The thing is, you can have your car coloured anyway you want, but certain colours might cause you more problems than others. It is just a risk vs car colour debate, is your life less important than that of your cars colour?

With the change to car permanence on the server, if the owner goes offline, the car de-spawns and it does not matter if you have keys, if you can park it somewhere, you can't let someone borrow your car without you still being present on the server for the majority of time. My simple suggestion is to allow a partial ownership command for vehicle. This command could be split into 2 states: - Temporary, which is the same as temporary keys, works until you log off. - Permanent, which would stay until it is removed by the owner. The command would allow for the partial owner to do the same features as they can right now with keys + allow them to take the vehicle to the mechanics, take the vehicle out of mors/impound (PD could sort it out IC whether they want to allow this or not). The only restriction of this would be, for the sake of the server, only 1 partial owner allowed for a vehicle. This would be a major improvement on the current lack of a system for lending out or borrowing cars, and with the limitation, would still maintain minimum car presence on the map.

I think the server now is much friendlier for new players, but i agree that it needs better guidance for them. Some kind of tutorial or just having some practical tests vs just the quiz. Additionally, i think a lot of new players put themselves in a bad spot, as the first thing they do when they join a server is just go an commit crimes. This is something new players need to understand has major consequences for your character down the line, but people do not understand this, which is why as PD we deal with a lot of new players that are likely on their 1st/2nd day and are already committing crimes and breaking rules. Being a criminal is difficult not only due to how it is IC, but due to you being faced with a lot more OOC rules that you have to know. My personal experience for when i started was to do legal stuff first, it helped me to get to know the way the city works, work my way through how RP works and get a better understanding of how the rules work, as i had to face a lot less of them due to being legal. But a lot of players go criminal from minute 1, which leads to early admin logs and opportunities that you can no longer take advantage of unless you make a new character. The problem with the economy, is that the server lacks any kind of money sinks, so the server just constantly creates more and more money, making everything more and more expensive. Until money sinks are added, the gap between new players and old players will just keep increasing.

Hey guys, so this suggestion is somewhat of a mix of some of the older suggestions, as well as something that would create more RP if implemented. The current Medical system is limited, you are either dropped off by a medic at any of the hospitals or someone drops you off at the only place on the map (central MD), you get instantly healed and are free to go. This creates a system that allows people to just walk away from injuries in a not so realistic manner. My suggestions would be: OPEN MULTIPLE HOSPITALS FOR DROP OFFS - Right now, central being the only hospital that allows drop offs, creates an issue for people on any other part of the map other than the city. With the addition of all the new hospitals, as well as extending MDs range to provide assistance to people everywhere, it would be useful to provide additional drop off points for people. These would likely be 1 in Sandy and 1 in Paleto. These 2 additions would create an easier access to drop people off yourself, without having to all go to 1 location on the map. MEDICAL TREATMENT - This is something that is a bit unrealistic and encourages people to just get dropped off at Central and go back into action. With this suggestion, if a person was dropped off at a hospital by anyone other than MD, the person should get 5 minutes of bed rest. This would stop the quick in and out of Central, by not allowing people to just go back into action faster than any medic would even tend to the persons wounds. This would stop criminals and PD from using the hospital as a "get healed quick" station and just returning to action like nothings happened. The timer could be adjusted to a longer time, with the option of a medic to reduce the timer by providing additional treatment, but there would be no way to instantly get out of the hospital. GUNSHOT WOUND ALERTS - In a first world country, someone arriving with gunshots would not make sense to just be ignored as these incidents get investigated every time. This would create additional RP between gunshot victims and PD, and with the combination of the 2nd suggestion, would make criminals think twice before heading to a hospital to get a quick fix. BLACK MARKET DOCTORS - With the addition of turfs, i think this is a perfect time to introduce this feature. If the 3rd suggestion gets approved it is only fair that criminals are allowed an alternative option for treatment, to prevent from being interrogated every time they go to the hospital. These black market doctors would be available in some turfs and would provide medical treatment with no questions asked. This would be a service you would have to pay for, with a timer similar to that of the hospitals. This could be further adjusted by having a couple of different price tags for treatment, more expensive being quicker and better (would be the same as a regular hospital with medical treatment) or a cheaper version that would not heal you fully and would be slower (the maximum time of a regular hospital). I excluded all values from the suggestion as I think balancing these ideas would be up to the developers to make them fair. I think that these additions, would create some RP and would make it more realistic, rather than the current /dropbody system that we have in place. Let me know what you think and I'll try to edit the post with your suggestions.

Add a small timer for pistols, require you to un-hide gun to use it and its a +1 from me. -1 on the heavies, you can already do that by actually doing it.

In a state where gang violence rivals that of small country civil wars, only makes sense that the police would have access to CCTV footage of almost any part of the city. Similar to how some countries already utilize CCTV.

Death RP and new MD /stabilize rule should be changed

Honestly they should just lower the stabilize timer. Having to RP everything and only then starting the timer is literally just making /stabilize timer = all the RP + 35 seconds. Maybe even remove the timer in general, cause at this point stabilize is treated the same as /cpr, as you need to RP and then do the command. This would also allow enough time for MD to force /stabilize if people are not responding in a timely manner. If nothing changes, honestly just report people.- 13 replies

So you want to add guns that would need OOC regulation on usage? Dunno if you have ever experienced this, but people get robbed, which would make the guns illegally obtained. You want to shoot someone, but can't with your gun? Just buy a gun with a friend, swap guns - illegally obtained.

big -1, the last thing we need is to grant the entire server easy access to heavy weapons. Like literally you are asking for stuff that would most likely make the server worse and in no way better. The musket is a 1 shot kill weapon, the sniper is not available to even the current criminals and is a delicacy of a heavy weapon only a few still have (even PD barely has access to it), revolver is OP, pretty sure flare gun is pointless due to sync but if sync was fixed it would be an insta kill again. At the end the market would literally be flooded with heavy weapons or more importantly, ammo.

+1 i like the change they made to the IC marketplace section, but it needs to be sorted, at least the way it used to be, but the suggested way is even better.

-1 People evade plenty as is and when they do they have a reason to do so. Either because they think they can get no time or they have stuff they dont want to lose. If you choose to go to prison over a speeding ticket that is on you.
