  1. Sorry for double posting, you should consider picking cars that make RP sense for your character and his life, rather than looking for some meta advantages.
  2. Nothing is stopping you from driving off-road in any car tbh, the rule is regarding: Non-off road vehicles may not drive up mountains or steep hills.
  3. House interiors wont really be changed, at least for existing ones, as they would clash with player items and also inflate prices of houses even more if they suddenly got much better interiors. Just having this talk is already exciting the same people who make sure to cash in on certain vehicles getting removed, so don't really see a way to change existing interiors without throwing stuff off balance even more. Would like to see the ability to buy empty interiors though, other than buying a business property.
  4. Regarding mobile homes, you can buy an RV (Journey) as it is a mobile home without a garage.
  5. Most of the time, there is no negotiation phase as people are either surrendering or running away.
  6. 95% of the time, escape vehicles are hidden. PD responds to bank alarms as they ring and it takes time to evaluate a situation. Sometimes it will be 1 person just triggering the alarm while other times 12 people will run outside as PD arrives. It is completely unreasonable to stagger response just so the 1 unit that arrives can get shot by 10 people inside the bank.
  7. How are we supposed to know how many people are at a bank robbery to send an appropriate response?
  8. -1 If you are a good driver, and there are plenty of those, you can easily evade and there is no reason to reward people with an easier experience who just can't drive. Reducing stalling might even end up being a buff to PD, which will make your escapes harder.
  9. For kind of various reasons, the laws on the server are not the same as laws in real life so comparing stuff to real life is something that I never promote as it goes both ways. Regarding any kind of actions taken by the LSPD in this or any other situation, the faction has strict guidelines for a lot of their activities (Both IC and OOC regulations) and at the current state of the server, follow the penal code, which is the laws on the server. With regulations comes repercussions for breaching those regulations, as long as people report them and officers are actually in breach of those regulations (again, this is not real life based laws and just because you think something is against regulations, does not necessarily mean it is). You are free to IA report people involved for either IC or OOC reasons through the same platform, as the LSPD does not just judge people based on rule breaches but quality of RP as well. And i think that is the best course of action for you to take if you think that it was not ok. Can't promise that something is will happen or not and you will not be entitled to a response either, but IA reporting can't hurt regardless.
  10. +1 Simply for convenience. While sniping, you are 90% of the time outside of /me range, so you dont know if the person has RPed anything regarding holding the hostage or not. Additionally, make it so the command basically drops turn rate and movement speed while you have a hostage to balance.
  11. Considering you did not provide a suggestion, I will just drop my own. Allow for drug materials to stack The current system does not take into account that an item is 0.5 and 20 items of 0.5 weight, dont add any weight. Allowing for all 0.5 items to stack, would completely eliminate the need to stack storage items. Your materials would stack to the capacity of the storage item, meaning it would also influence its overall size that is required for storage (making stacking impossible) and would generally allow people to use storage as needed, rather than relying on stacking storage. It makes no sense that i can stack 200 units of drugs vs not being able to stack drug materials. Food/water/ores/oil/drugs/fish/etc all stack, and I think that the most fair and balanced approach would be to allow for drug manufacturing materials to stack as well, rather than them being split items.
  12. Would be cool for like 5 minutes, till it became dead with no one wanting to do it.
  13. additionally i think having the coroner job also be in the city would help a lot, as right now it is just too difficult to have to go to paleto, take the job, go to the city to pick up the body, then back to paleto for limited pay vs effort.
  14. Straight up disgusting racial stuff like hard R, is classed as gross RP and does require consent, as with any gross RP. But you have to understand, that theres only so much rules can do, because at the end, people do worse things than throw racial slurs. People get reported and then they get banned, stuff like this is dealt with. Onto streaming, firstly, we do have plenty of regular streamers from different aspects of RP and secondly, as much as people think twitch cares, they dont. Twitch doesnt care what some random on your stream says as long as you engage it properly. Just look at big streamers and all the hate speech they run into daily in games, twitch will not punish people for something that is out of their control as long as you, as a streamer, do not engage in it yourself.
  15. +1 it would just make more sense and at the end LEOs can always just ask to see a firearms license.
  16. +1 Doesn't make sense that you can accidentally buy a vehicle and a confirmation would help prevent that
  17. Before giving any feedback regarding this, would like to do some testing regarding this and how it works. AFAIK, PD does not randomly get any notifications, this was removed with the introduction of NPCs, and requires PD to physically go to an NPC to retrieve the information. There is no difference if another faction has interrogated the NPC, PD does not get any notification and rely on the information that a drop is coming at X in Y-Z time. If in your situation PD got information about a drop, could have just as well been someone leaking information IC, rather than anything script related, but again, I have never once gotten any notification of drops while on PD, since the turfs were introduced.
  18. I think there is a lack of reports to really justify making rules more strict and the current numbers show that asking people to stop is working enough.
  19. -1 Biggest reason why there is a difference in refunding credit vehicles vs IC vehicles, is that at the end of the day, you can always sell your IC vehicles, credit vehicles are not only locked to your account after the first 24h, but they are locked to your character unless you pay extra to have it transferred. There more to scrap vehicles than just infinite money, at the end, factions could use scrap vehicles to gain infinite influence.
  20. Personally, it is a minus -1, but I do think there is a better alternative. Have a minimum officers/DOC/mechanics on duty at a time, if the requirement is not met, then you would be able to use the features on your own. It is similar to how stores/bank robberies are scripted. Meaning that during peak hours, you should be able to have those features locked behind the respective factions, but during down times, you would not be stuck and players who play during those times wouldn't be punished.
