  1. DM 2 is very common and is technically a permanent ban. -1
  2. big -1 use high end or door sell if you don't trust the buyer if you want to avoid taxes, take the risk
  3. I don't really see how it would be beneficial in practice. Let's say Jason Reed is being arrested for GTA and Felony Evasion. Just from that I can glean that he stole a car and ran from the cops in it. What would really be gained if for example it said: GTA - stole a pink blista Felony Evasion - he drove down interstate 1 until he crashed into a barricade It seems rather redundant. It would also severely clutter the screen when you look up a person's record, which is already a nightmare to navigate for people that go to prison regularly.
  4. Linked up with the Triads to discuss some prospects and the on-going war. Following the tentative peace made with Ballas, WCA accepted tribute from Misfits and it was decided that they would be allowed to live. DeAndre drove past the NLA Headquarters and noticed them slipping away with Misfits. They were obviously being approached about teaming up against us. There will be no allies. No saving grace. NLA is alone, and soon enough, they will be no more. Devoid of any allies or hope, NLA concentrated all of their resources into purchasing three heavy weapons, and tried to set up an ambush at the WCA Motel. Several WCA were injured in the fight, however all of the NLA woke up at the hospital, without any of their precious few heavy weapons.
  5. I'm surprised this didn't get more community interaction because I agree with most of the points made. Good, well thought out and explained topic.
  6. I am against forced server-side mods. I agree with GOAT that they stand out like a sore thumb, and if @Pertinax wants to use them, there's nothing stopping him, but forcing them on the whole server seems excessive. -1
  7. I suggest reading the thread before providing feedback. This has been addressed multiple times.
  8. This is something of a polarizing subject. There's clearly a majority of people that do not want others to roleplay a female when they're male. There's a few people that pulled it off with less comments about them being "trannies" but I don't think anyone did it completely free of that kind of an attitude. There was a thread about voice changers that quickly devolved into a thread about whether or not men should roleplay females on the server, that might be a worth a read since this is of interest to you: All in all, it doesn't seem like the community wants to be accepting of this kind of roleplay, and I'm not sure that adding a rule would fix anything. They could always call you other random insults if they don't like what you're doing.
  9. In the dark parking lot of the observatory, the high command of Zetas, Triads and WCA meet to discuss recent events in the city and the path of an organization in it. Following the joint meeting, Andre and Jay meet to settle the organization's debt and discuss recent developments in the conflict. Andre and a trusted higher up meet with the Ballas high command as Jay shadows the encounter. NLA's place in the city is discussed, and an agreement is reached.
  10. It ruins custom interiors, it kills vehicle handling, it looks like white pudding and it doesn't make sense for a heavy RP server based in Los Angeles.
  11. I'm not a fan of the snow, at all. In my opinion it should've only been here 23rd through 25th.
  12. WCA meets up with Vory to discuss the tacit admission of defeat from NLA and improved collaboration between our organizations. United in resolve and purpose, the crews head out to find their mark. Find they did; The leader of NLA was captured and asked to pay a reasonable sum of money to end the hostilities. He claimed that they have enough numbers to make us equals and stated he will not pay anything. He was forced to change clothes, ziptied and berated by each individual in the group before finally being put back into the trunk that he arrived in. Following a long ride in the trunk, he was ejected into the cold snow in his "new" underwear where he could wait for his numerous soldiers to rescue him. We were about to move on some of his soldiers as their usual allies turned against them and had them exit their vehicle with hands up. Nevertheless, NLA is indeed numerous, and a great source of SNS pistols with little ammo. The city's population was dwindling, so was Vory's and WCA's, however, unlike other organizations, we take pride in quality not numbers. Five against Fifteen, the snowy field next to Paul's farm was running red with the blood of the coalition: NLA, Ballas, Misfits and Wanted. The only one that was spared was Abasi who fled with great haste in his purple elegy after being served a small dose of lead. The crew then moved to Chilliad mountain where they began chopping the opposition's vehicles. Not like they had people to drive them anymore. Walking into the clothing store south of bank, the group settled upon a most unfortunate NLA member, who was shopping by herself. She's now in the market for a wig, knee pads and a new SNS pistol. Virtually the entirety of Ballas' leadership was being chased, and even with law enforcement assistance, there was no saving them from the Assassins. Several WCA were arrested during the efforts to capture them, therefore, an example was made of the wanna-be gangsters that take comfort in relying on law enforcement. Adriana, leader of Ballas was promptly relieved of her hair, but sadly before any more humiliation could ensure, she was granted mercy by bleeding out. Hairless and bleeding into the cold snow, she could not bear to say a single word and instead stood there in great shame. The rest of the leadership was not so lucky, and they were made to eat the meat of their fallen underlings. with their leadership in the hospital and/or full of the meat of their soldiers, the rest of the organization fell easy prey to the hunting party.
  13. having a great time roleplaying with Jamal and rest of Vory, definitively a great choice if you're looking to roleplay a good russian mafia.
  14. During a regular checking session we ran upon an extinct gang member: an outcast. Apparently he's been out the city for a bit and didn't learn about his gang's fate. The Assassins noticed an unknown man driving a Triad car, they proceeded to get him out the car and contact the Triads for retrieval. Loaded up and in formation, they went over to a parking lot to meet with another organization. At first everyone exchanged names and pleasantries, cracking a joke or two, especially Prozacel. It was then time for business, and the leadership of both gangs had a secluded conversation. Back at the motel the group gathered and unwinded, before going out once more.
  15. Isn't that your job as a police officer? Catch them and fine them?
  16. The second post in the thread is now up to date and contains the broad strokes of our journey; from the beginning, with just five members, to where we are now, four months later. If you are interested in that kind of stuff, I recommend reading it.
  17. featuring Eddie Knox @Anatoly
  18. Arriving at the meeting location, we were greeted by Triads HC and we discussed the on-going war against NLA and company before moving forward to the usual dealings. We set a rendezvous with Vory and embarked on a trans-gang hunting operation. This unfortunate NLA man was made to eat the meat of his fallen comrade after being robbed. He quite audibly protested as he was munching down on the human remains. Purple wasn't safe either from the green and gold force that was sweeping the city. One man was allegedly teaching some friends how to cook LSD when we set upon him and his companions. They were relieved of their product and vehicles. Night fell over a large confrontation as a contingent of WCA was checked by three different groups. The assassins quickly dispatched of every enemy that faced them until they went through all of their rifle ammo. As the heavies went dry, NLA weaponized their Futos and achieved their pyrrhic victory.
  19. Big -1 Have you noticed how discussions about DeathRP are never about whether or not its realistic or good? They're mainly centered about cops being perceived as not being fair. As in cops granting privileges to their friends, whether or not it happens. If you allow the cop to decide if the cap is lifted or in effect, it will inevitably lead to accusations and further alienation between law enforcement and criminal members of the community. If John and Dan get jailed for the same crimes, but in one instance PD High Command X decided to lift the cap for John's sentence, but PD High Command Y decided to not lift the cap for Dan's sentence, inevitably, John will be upset. John will be in prison for a long time, and John will most definitively not be in a mood to RP, feeling that he was wronged. If you make the cap dynamic, it needs to be governed by a certain set of clear rules, that are not up to debate. Allowing LSPD to grant huge favors at a whim will not be productive.
  20. Met with Jay Gamble to discuss the latest state of affairs in the city, and came upon an interesting resolution. In the hills of Vinewood, we descended upon the house of Jamal and announced our plans, and resolved to work together. As the rumors of the black warehouse continue to circle around Los Santos, Dimitri was the target of several questions during our first meeting in a relatively long time. The first shots in the war having been fired, more soldiers arrived into town and were inducted into the organization. Night descended upon the city, and so did the WCA-Vory hunting party. Unlike our opponents, automatic weapons are a regular sight in green hands. NLA attempted an ambush at the dam, but armed with pistols and shaky hands, they all fell to the combined forces of Vory and WCA. We then swung by the hood to relax, enjoying our victory at the dam, when Tim took the relaxing to the next level by attempting to jump into the pool, and missing. Luckily an EMT arrived quickly and he made a full recovery. It was time to hunt again. With their spirits crushed by their failed ambush, NLA members just got off their bikes and surrendered at the mere sight of the green cars. As the war continues, shop owners in the mirror park area would be well advised to stock up on knee pads, as NLA soldiers will require them in heavy quantities.
  21. I don't think it's necessarily NonRP, and definitively not NonRP to the point where you would punish people for it. It's something that can be enforced IC. If a gang is known to collaborate with police, and everyone in the city feels that calling police is wrong, the gang can be ostracized and hunted by everyone, similar to the Russian situation. If a gang is calling police but doing it in such a manner that it's all but impossible to know IC, I'd argue that's good RP if anything, as law enforcement can be a very strong ally, if you're into that kind of RP.
