  1. This is not the place to make accusations against a gang. The thread's main purpose is for the organization to showcase it's roleplay, stories and media. Positive feedback is alright, but any concerns/accusations and so on should be forwarded to the faction management team.
  2. Hello. If you have an issue with a decision that a member of staff made, please follow the instructions in this thread to appeal it: https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/topic/5706-punishment-appeal-requirements-must-read-before-posting/ Community discussion is a critical part of our forums, however, directly discussing/criticizing/attacking a specific administrative decision is not something that should be happening in this section. The correct way to approach a decision that you are unhappy with is via the aforementioned appeal system. If you wish to suggest a change in the way a certain thing is handled in the community, such as but not limited to game suggestions, rule suggestions, forum suggestions, visit this section and formulate your ideas honestly: https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/forum/7-community-suggestions/ Thread locked and archived. Sincerely, alexalex303
  3. I don't see why I'm being quoted in this. The fact that it's a screenshot from November 2019, is quite troubling as well. Context is for Kings. The context of that screenshot was someone asking for OOC protection in a conflict (iirc), and I explained that NCZs are already a big protection in wars. Faction Management has taken several steps to get involved in IC matters, and it actually was a key thing in a recent war that you fought. To ask for OOC involvement to be gone tomorrow, I think it's unreasonable. That ship has sailed. OOC involvement is here, and I don't think it's going away, and I think that is and can be a good thing. We just need to adapt, and stop using "IC" as a rebuttal for everything. Your opinion in this thread seemed to have changed as well. In the first posts you made in this thread, you kept stating that this change will hurt small gangs, yet people from small gangs repeatedly said they want this, and it's mainly people from absolutely huge gangs against it. Now you're saying small gangs shouldn't have OOC crutches, which one is it? Does it help small gangs or not? @MrUntouchable215
  4. I think it's very clear that smaller organizations do like the cap on members, and it's only the really big factions that want to keep recruiting. There already is a very strong IC monopoly in the server, and if you remove the member cap, there will be no more new factions, as all the new people will just join the biggest, until we have a certain faction at 300, and another at 300, and that is when the smaller gangs will have issues. Not when everything is capped. In my opinion, removing the player cap on gangs is a big no-no for the health of the server.
  5. Interesting bit of development, @Lola Millers. I particularly liked how you interlaced the otherwise daunting text with pictures, to make it easier to picture and follow. Great post overall!
  6. Looking forward to interesting RP from this crew. Hit me up if you want some custom graphics for the thread.
  7. I'd like the remaining of the thread to focus on the positive notes, and mainly about WCA. I'd very much hate if the very last few posts on the thread were an argument about IC situations.
  8. There was a longer and more personal message towards the faction in the WCA discord, however, the short of it is that we are closing the faction and pursuing other roleplay opportunities. Thank you to everyone that supported the faction through the eight month journey, and to those that worked against it ICly, I firmly believe that we wouldn't of been as strong as we were, had we not been challenged so many times throughout the growth of the faction. It was a good run.
  9. "Success is not final, failure is not fatal; It is the courage to continue that counts." ~ Winston Churchill. WCA met with Dojin-Kai to formalize their relationship prior to the war resuming; In attendance were some members of the Void, who clearly showed that they are not ready. The leading figures in the gang met, and responsibilities were divided up. Loaded up in seven vehicles, all filled to the brim; They made their way to a contested location, to negotiate a further alliance. Alliance talks were promising, and the discussions revealed that the vast majority of people disagree with the way the council conducted themselves recently; However, the Shelbys had a feeling that they shouldn't continue with the alliance for now. Grove Street was regularly cleaned of trespassers, despite their outlandish claims of 24/7 control. The old soldier that once tested the Assassins before, found his end once more, at the end of a shotgun barrel; His last words being "please don't do this". Grove Street will never be held by anyone but the Assassins; Anyone venturing into it will find themselves constantly looking over their shoulder for the green crew.
  10. The Dojin-Kai emerged as something of a small unknown group, and in a very short amount of time made a great name for themselves with their activity, determination and RP quality. It's very obvious that a lot of work is being put both in-game and on the forums for these stories, and your overall RP, and I'm very happy to see it getting noticed at the level it deserves. Well done.
  11. That's some nice editing and shooting right there @seth. Good job.
  12. You can't. He means that it's something you have to deal with in-character, not via the forums.
  13. couldn't of done it without people like you cheering us on!
  14. The council maintained control of the city for months through lies and deceit, and in their latest bout, they looked to levy a tax against the Assassins at a moment that they saw as opportune: while we were fighting another crew. Triads and Zetas came to WCA's home in numbers never seen before, seventy strong altogether. They made wild claims of transgressions that were literally impossible. Their demand was simple, an impossible amount of drugs weekly, or war. The proposition was discussed, and it was decided that unlike past cases, in which they had legitimate grievances, and reparations were made, we would not pay up for lie. We would not pay up out of fear. We met up with another group in the city who felt in a similar way about the council and their ways, and we struck an agreement. Day 1 of the war started with a raid of the Zetas HQ, as a couple of their drags drove about and radio'd in our presence, they wouldn't dare to challenge us as we took their vehicles. The chopshop was happy to take in the fine class of vehicles, and once again, they would not challenge us in the field. Later into the day, after calling upon the services of the LSPD to move us from Grove Street, they finally dared to fight us, at a neutral location. They wanted a fight, and they'll get the fight of their lives.
  15. From the post it seems that this will come back when there is a way for you to do it yourself, rather than having to rely on founders to do it manually. It seems very reasonable.
  16. Volunteering themselves for a case-study in cognitive dissonance, the FYB continue to boast that they're winning the war while simultaneously refusing to fight. The night started with a meeting between WCA, Triads and Zetas about the current state of affair in the city, and specially our response to recent LSPD issues. A meeting spot was selected and the new marching orders were relayed to the soldiers, who prepared for the long hunt to follow. The first prey of the night actually dared to venture somewhat close to Grove Street, and was quickly put on his back for his trespassing. This particular Balla kept running from the Bank, to City Hall and back to the Bank, until 8 hours later when he realized that we will not give up, he just walked out of the camera zone and surrendered. Making a deadly mistake, the driver of the Cognoscenti took our order to stop as a request, and got his two friends killed before he was taken to be taught a lesson. His car was chopped, and he was forced to drop the colors at gunpoint, while being relieved of his older clothes. John Corsetti decided that instead of wasting time, he would walk down and surrender on his own accord. He was very surprised when new clothes were brought for him, and refused to hand over his old clothes. As a gift to our friends, we took a captured Balla to the Pink Cage and forced him to dance for a couple of female Triads, who greatly enjoyed the show. Towards the end of the night, we found a Balla as he was attempting to refill an ATM with cash, and quickly took him to the back of the store. In a surprising misfortune, a second Balla was tasked to refill the same ATM, at the same time. They were both forcefully relieved of their purple. With night coming to an end, all of the Ballas in town were lured to the dam and subsequently robbed, and all of their vehicles chopped.
  17. I think it's unreasonable to expect people to drive the speed limit during chases. We're not talking about people hitting them randomly, we're taking about their uses to stop chases. People take their risk, and sometimes they hit other cars, walls, and other stuff. I personally feel that when I hit a wall, or a car, I'm like "I fucked up. I'm going to prison but I'm going cause I fucked up." When a piece of furniture loads just in front of my car at 200 km/h, it doesn't feel like I messed up, it feels like I got cheated. That's the issue, I think.
  18. Not sure if that is the goal, but in my experience, that's usually the result. They render in too late for the driver to slow down, and it usually ends up with the driver injured, ejected out the car.
  19. All memes aside, I think most of us know @Z0thian is a great roleplayer. Looking forward to seeing many interesting and amusing RP scenarios from this group.
  20. Despite the Ballas propaganda machine working over-time, the facts on the ground remain shameful. An entire gang of people afraid, unable and willing to fight. Front Yard Bitches. Tyrone was caught repping purple with no gun, no radio and no dignity. He dared to look us in the eye and said that this part of his winning strategy. Two Ballas were cruising by Grove Street, when a random managed to down them both, most likely because their combined ammo count was five bullets. The two unfortunate souls decided to rep purple, and after a pursuit they jumped out of their cars, once again, weaponless. One of them was so kind to inform us of their strategy: avoid all fights and just keep running. In grave despair and with fear in his heart, a Balla decided to hide behind the cameras at the LSB, and then climbed to the roof, standing on the ledge. An Assassin said in jest: "Maybe he's gonna kill himself cause hes got no hope left in this city." On the other side, things couldn't be better. Having acquired a gated property in Grove Street, and with almost the entire cul-de-sac under their ownership, they now stand as an immovable object in Grove. The gang gathers round in front of their new HQ and partakes in some cocaine, courtesy of Ace. It's partying time. Late at night, within the walls of their headquarters, select friends gather to wish a happy birthday to Anthony Laurie. All lies and hater dreams aside; Grove is green. Now and forever.
