  1. A WCA contingent attended the wedding of Triads leader Bruce Wong, on their private island. Not so long after the wedding, the groups met once more for business, at the Triads' noodle shop. Trey and Andre speaking to a person wishing to join the group, as hes being introduced by another member. Fresh from the induction, Andre and company received a backup request from a member that was being chased by a small group of Russians. The only one silly enough to point a weapon was quickly dispatched and the rest fled. The day was ended with a routine check of the drug manufacturing facilities, where they found a civillian trying to make ends meet by producing LSD.
  2. As what's left of the Wanted drift out of the city, WCA members meet up with the Triads to discuss the war efforts and continuation. It's well understood by everyone that Wanted is now functionally dead. Andre swings by the Zetas Store to exchange thoughts on the scene of the town, and on the new organizations that propped up. As the crew was rolling through drug labs to make sure that no undesirables were operating them, they notice two Wanted at one of them, and a paramedic. The paramedic and her ride-along weren't harmed, but they were held until the robbery of the Wanted was concluded. The group then moved to the local chop-shop and began chopping some vehicles they forcefully seized.
  3. Thank you for the support everyone, I've taken this opportunity to give the front page a new feel with the filler images between the sections, and there's more content coming soon.
  4. Can confirm. This happened to me once, not sure what the trigger could be.
  5. The original claim was about LSPD supercars, which I've driven extensively during my 8 month stay in the LSPD. If you want to talk about SD vehicles, and specifically SD bikes, I'll admit that I'm not sure how those work, but it's not what I addressed. Since you said that I'm spreading false information, please tell me exactly what I said that was false.
  6. The fully modded T20 also tops out at 200. Your supers are not slower than normal supers. It only seems that way because of how insanely fast your cruisers are.
  7. That is false. Please stop spreading misinformation. The LSPD super cars are performing as normal super cars. The issue is that the cruisers are extremely sped up artificially. Drive @XposeD's T20, it will be just as fast as the LSPD T20, it's just not a top speed car. The 811 is still faster than the cruisers, for now, until they get buffed again. But this circular logic is very concerning. The LSPD cruisers are artificially made to go faster, and then you want the LSPD supers to go faster. How about we make the LSPD cruisers slower, as they're supposed to be, and give the high speed units a purpose?
  8. The mexicans got our message loud and clear, and after a short stay in the hospital, they finally made good on their word. Neutrality would be had once more. Alicia was caught lacking on her drag, as she stalled her engine by hitting a pole, and was subsequently searched, no weapons were found on her. Just before the meeting with the Ballas, one of our members had been asking one too many questions, and when questioned himself, he admitted that he was working with the police. He never walked out of the alley. We then had a small meeting about the missing member, and what working with police means while you're wearing green, and then departed to meet the purples. As we arrived early, we scoped out the old hood to find it in not so good shape. First contact was made, numbers were exchanged, and now purple was on the neutral list.

People that get in shootouts with cops semi-regularly go to prison for 5-6 hours and receive $90,000 or more in fines. They might not get caught as often as someone that pulls over every time, but when they do get caught, the penalties are much more severe.
  10. Zetas do get swatted at the store, quite often. That's an IC repercussion for IC actions. This thread is about OOC rules for IC actions. Unless your point is to make standing at a store against the rules, I don't see how it's relevant.
  11. Perhaps you need to re-evaluate what roleplay is. Roleplay is not just sitting at a gas station looking at nicely modded cars. Roleplay is having realistic consequences for actions. For one reason or another, you are at war with an alliance of two of the strongest gangs on the server. Not being able to get a breather to do what you want, is roleplay. It's their force projection. The fact that they are so strong that you do not get to do what you usually do, is part of roleplay.
  12. So basically you'd like an OOC crutch for weaker factions to lean on when stronger factions fight them? The timing of the post makes it seem like you have a personal vested interest in stopping a certain war, and not about good RP with friends. You said that the demands of money or disbanding are unreasonable. Let's say that you pay money, and then you can do good RP with friends, that's reasonable if good RP is all you want, no? Similarly, disbanding is a reasonable option if all you want is good RP with friends. It seems that what you want is the ability to act though, not be able to back it up, and have OOC restrictions in being brought back to reality. NCZs are already a huge OOC crutch for this, and adding even more is going to kill criminal RP.
  13. There is nothing wrong with stating a player's ID when searching them, especially when you do not know their name. /mes are IC actions, however the command itself is an OOC description of the actions that your character is performing, and such, OOC references are acceptable. Regardless of any of that, this is not the place to discuss the validity of the faction's roleplay. The faction's thread is a place for them to showcase their roleplay, and for constructive comments on the faction. Your comment does not fit either of those.
  14. Bumping this. I also feel it's highly relevant with the current situation, and could create some interesting situations in-game.
  15. Did you compile the script into the .exe and then ran the exe as an administrator? Looking at the code, it should work.
  16. Unless the chase is happening at less than 130 km/h, you would still need that communication and coordination.
  17. The menu could use an overall update to its locations since the server expanded quite a bit. +1
  18. The Wanted bank-encamped propaganda machine is in full force with their baseless conjuncture that does not and can not be backed up. The fault for the Wanted v. WCA conflict rests entirely at Jamaar's feet. Prior to the last amicable meeting between us, a Wanted "pre-prospect" was robbed by a bunch of WCA while his friend, a Wanted prospect named Helsinki watched it happen. A day prior to that, members of the Wanted showed up to a shootout, and without firing a single bullet, started looting bodies. Dre was contacted and he identified about four people based on their vehicles. The night of the meeting, Andre made his grievances regarding the jackal-like looting from his members known, and told Jamaar to contact Dre about the names. We showed up at the meeting, and Jamaar stated that the looting shouldn't of happened, and asked who was involved; He was told that he was already informed that Dre has the names, and then he rebutted, "Oh, let's talk about this pre-prospect thing". Talks started, and then he invited the Prospect witness, Helsinki to join the conversation, who ended up making not one, but five tacit threats towards WCA, while Jamaar was standing there impotently. People from downstairs were able to overhear the conversation and were getting unruly. Fortunately for Wanted, a cop pulled into the Re-up and everyone dispersed. WCA made their grievances known to the council, and a day after, the council decided that they wanted to go to war with Wanted. All the way from the meeting, to this point, Jamaar made no attempt to contact WCA and inform them that the jackals were dealt with, nor offer any apologies about Helsinki's loud mouth. It was then decided that we would join the war. Jamaar's leadership is an impotent concoction of promises and very little action to back those promises up. He allowed a prospect to speak for his entire gang, and now it was time to see if they could back it up, on the street. A wanted member apparently decided to hang up his orange outfit and do some moonlighting as a taxi driver. One of our members got into his taxi, and asked for a ride to a secluded place, where he was relieved of the contents of his pockets, phone, and even of his taxi. Pulling up on Catfish Road, one of us informed the rest that apparently there's a new organization in town, and we made first contact with them. They call themselves the Vory. Keeping the streak of meeting organizations live, we met with Ezekiel, who is the leader of the new organization known as Latin Kings. It was then time for the weekly meeting with the council, and Zetas were the first stop. War considerations were discussed, and we parted ways with a renewed promise of mutual assistance. Bruce and the rest of the Triads were met outside of Los Santos, and similar war talks were had, before departing on a good note. A less than inspired member of the Wanted decided that it was a good idea to try to rob one of us at the hood. All he managed to do was ruin Trey's paintjob, with his blood. The Los Santos Police Department stuck their nose into a chase and started using their megaphones to promise protection to Wanted. But, they can not be everywhere, all the time. Back at the motel, relaxing, we were joined by two randoms, and we were unwinding from the busy day with them. At that point, two Wanted drove by, and crashed their bike into a pole. One of them got back on and drove away, the other one was caught. From the street it looks like some parked vehicles, but once you drive into the motel.. The unfortunate Wanted that was left behind was beat up especially hard for ruining our time, and encroaching on our territory. We then resolved that no further relaxing will be had today, and loaded up to hunt. It wasn't long before we had Oksana and Vahan on their knees. Oksana was especially loud-mouthed. Andre decided to teach her a lesson. Face smeared with snow and blonde hair, the woman was still belligerent, therefore, Andre decided to put her out of her misery. The group then stumbled upon another unfortunate victim, and she was quickly placed at gunpoint. She found herself on her knees, in the cold snow, just as the stolen Wanted vehicles were driving by, to get chopped by WCA. We can only imagine her initial feeling of relief as she thought backup was coming, only to see it's just more doom. She lost her weapons, car, hair, hope, and dignity. All in one interaction.
  19. I do not personally have an issue with IA reports taking time to process. I think it's very good that they are being thoroughly reviewed. My issue is with the punishments, that in my opinion are too lenient for the crimes commited. I did not use quotation marks because some of the actions that cops do are actual crimes. The issue is that after that long process, after writing it up, after sitting in prison, the officer gets a written warning. It is not proportional to the damage inflicted. It's nice that SD IA cases get solved quick, but if it's a slap on the wrist for false imprisonment, it doesn't really do much that it gets solved quick.
  20. The Internal Affairs system is way too lenient on officers found to be in gross abuse of their power. The reasonable punishment for officers adding false charges, committing false imprisonment and so on would be immediate termination. Instead they are given slaps on the wrist.
  21. Everyone that CKed the old way got their charges back from their "previous" character. There is currently no way to get them removed as LSPD can only remove active charges.
  22. Official factions can in fact import just ammo. It's just the legal stores that lack that functionality.
