  1. Who are "you" to judge and limit who a gang actually needs in it? If a gang leader wants to have 60 members let him, there should be no OOC restrictions preventing him in my opinion.
  2. I could not agree with this post more. +1 I feel that the majority of the criminal RP is restricted due to OOC rules at this point. A big issue with ECRP's current standing is ruleplay and the new rule about robbery is very vague and doesn't provide specific details to what is allowed and isn't, it's very subjective. Personally, 9/10 of the robberies I commit I am always worried that I'm going to get reported and almost always accused of breaking some various rule. I have had numerous amounts of people say "You can't rob me here" or something along the lines of this, the ruleplay ruins any sort of RP and makes the whole map feel like an NCZ. I don't really understand the logic behind making a cap on the players in a gang, when in my opinion criminals are already at severe disadvantages when it comes to fighting PD and a limited amount of numbers would make this even more significant. A big issue I currently have is the issue of house raiding. I've had multiple house raids voided by admins because of the fact that my RP reason isn't sufficient. I find this ridiculous because a house is where most people keep their stashes which has a high chance to have some sort of weaponry, that in of itself in my eyes is a well enough RP reason to house rob someone. For someone to just feel safe going into their house because I haven't interacted with them rp'ly prior is just a joke. I however do agree that robberies were getting excessive, just the turn that this rule has taken it has gotten to a point where I can't rob really anyone. This is a quote I managed to find from an Administrator, which I feel should have more light shed on it and should be a changing factor when making new rules, gang relationships should not be dictated by the rules. Again, I feel a lot of the current issues would be fixed if there was more RP things for criminals to do such as robbing banks and other activities. The current criminal activities are very stale and don't provide much variety.
  3. I have nothing else to add to this report, I feel like I've summed up everything perfectly in my first response, thank you.
  4. You can't run someone over on foot purposefully, you just admitted to VDM. Second of all, you are trying to accuse of me being connected to a random guy with a money truck that did absolutely nothing to this situation, this report is very sad and if you want to accuse of metagaming please have some proof because I have never interacted with any of these people. I am in no way fear rp'ing just because you a point a gun at me doesn't mean I have to leave the situation, I put my car in cover and killed all 3 of you. If you are really upset that you lost your 3 weapons I am happy to give them to you, won't be responding to this report as now you are throwing useless accusations.
  5. Hello! I'm ID 98 as seen in your screenshots, this is a very lengthy report so I'm going to start addressing your claims by parts Deathmatching- Regarding the DM claim, I pulled up as I saw a man in broad daylight on his knees, so I briefly asked are you getting robbed to which ID 53 tells me. "Get the fuck out of here before I pop you" and aims a gun at me. My character has a long backstory of being a criminal and aiming a gun at me is simply not going to slide. Aiming a gun at another person is well within DM rights I'm just not sure whether the person reporting knew that he had pointed at me. So I get out of my vehicle and instantly kill the man who had pointed his fire arm at me. I was then going to leave until the second individual ID 159 points his gun so he is shot down aswell. And then lastly, the man in the white car attempts to run me over being VDM, and he is shot down aswell. I did call for backup so I wasn't planning on just taking a 1v3 by myself however the events played out differently. Metagaming- Never met this person in my life, I helped in my eyes an innocent man being robbed in broad daylight and his attackers were being hostile towards me. IC and OOC interactions- You highlighted a rule you were breaking, there was no admin present therefore RP is not paused, just because you "called one" doesn't mean it's paused. Screenshot of the man attempting to say RP was paused with no admin present: Clip of demands and gun being pointed: Unedited footage of them dieing: NOTE: To the admin reviewing this please consider punishing 167 for VDM as he clearly tries to run me over during a shootout as well as ID 53 attempting to pause RP with no admin present, thank you.
  6. Hello! I am ID 183 in this incident, thankfully I recorded my footage in this situation. The person reporting me had WITNESSED me and another individual talk and confirm our sale of drug tables. I assumed the man on the bike was with the person I was selling to. During the process of me dropping the tables, the man is seen calling the police on his phone directly in front of us. I find this to be Non-RP as he could've easily went around the block and called police like any person realistically would. I gave clear demands telling him to get off the bike and then to stop the call, the man doesn't obey my demands and continues typing and finishes his police call. I then shot the man as I found this to be a situation where he should be displaying Fear-RP. You can try to argue that like you said in VOIP "I was mid typing" but you clearly saw and heard the gun and still continued your call, whether you are a slow typer or not. However you didn't seem to report for DM you reported for powergaming. I don't understand in any way how this is powergaming, you rp'ed calling police in front of a drug deal and not listening to my demands and I rp'ed shooting you. It was cut short due to your actions.
  7. Player(s) being reported: ID 232 Date of interaction reported: 4/14/2020 Unix time stamp from HUD: 428 | 1586896064 Your characters name: Tyler_Rogers Other player(s) involved: None Specific rule(s) broken: Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover for a friend or yourself, or fleeing with it. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger: • When you are in a car which engine is not stalled. • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. As a victim, whose life is in direct danger: • You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker. • You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you. IC and OOC Interactions Players are required to remain in-character (IC) at all times. Text chat, VOIP, radio, phone and commands like /ME and /do are to be used only for IC content. IC content must not contain acronyms like “lol” or “u” or smiley faces excluding IC SMS. For OOC content, players must use chat commands that encase the content in brackets. For example: (( this is OOC content )). OOC chat commands are /OOC, /O, /B, /PM and /F. OOC videos or screenshots can be used as IC evidence only if the footage contains the character using the /RECORD command to hold a phone in their hand. Property interiors can have cameras only if the owner roleplays installation and takes time stamped screenshots with the camera angle as evidence. Exteriors only if there is an object. You may roleplay a hidden camera, wire, or dash cam in a vehicle if recordings are unedited and include roleplay starting and ending. Attempts to search must be answered truthfully in /do. Sexual, torture, or extremely gross roleplay is allowed only if all involved parties (participants and witnesses) have agreed to it in OOC text chat, prior to the actual roleplay being performed. Only administrators are allowed force pause RP or investigate rule breaches. Only administrators are allowed to void roleplay scenarios at their discretion. Players are welcome to voice their opinion but should never disobey administrators. A /REPORT does not pause roleplay unless an admin does so Advertising and Public Chat It is prohibited to advertise or discuss other GTA V multiplayer communities on any ECLIPSE platform including self created content promoted on ECLIPSE platforms. All players must be able to communicate in English and IC chat must be English only. Foreign language in-character must be done as such: “[Language] English Text” Other languages may be used in private only if everyone who can see has agreed to it. Players may use offensive language in IC chat for roleplay but not excessively. Players must not threaten other players or use offensive language in OOC chat or OOC context. How did the player break the rule(s)? I don't report often but this report made any sort of RP unbearable. I was camping the individual's house after he had (debatably) fear rp'ed in front his door while entering. I waited outside for a brief moment until the man exited the house. I wanted to try to RP a house raid and get inside as he was mentioning earlier he had multiple guns inside his house. I tried robbing him and as seen in the video he didn't fear for his life and kept calling me names and refusing to unlock his door. Secondly, he OOC and IC mixed by saying at the end of the video and in the screenshot below, something along the lines of you can't forum report me and then mentioning a rule. Thirdly, I was insulted over 3 times in OOC which made me decide to add this to the report. Like I said, I don't report often but these type of players shouldn't be on this server. That's actually not true if you look at your own footage and slow it down to the second you pressed your panic button I am looking in your direction. But rather than playing with these small milliseconds, realistically would you find yourself risking to press a panic button while armed men are near you with shotguns, especially when your life is at stake. (FOOTAGE HAS BEEN SENT TO ADMIN)

Player(s) being reported: SD Cop (ID 17) Date of interaction reported: 1/25/2020 Unix time stamp from HUD: 224|1579982622 Your characters name: Tyler Rogers Other player(s) involved: Draven_Vaspucci, Rex_Rogers, Dave_Weeden, Carlos_Rodrigueez Specific rule(s) broken: 13. Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. • Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover. 8. Non-Roleplay (NRP) Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay. Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay: • Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason. • Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching). • Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles. • Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water. • Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase. Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof. In a situation where a player gets away from an incident where they're being chased/pursued, they must wait 15 minutes before they can logout. Players should not instigate roleplay situations if they do not have time to play it through. Players who ignore answering roleplay commands directed at them, e.g. /do. In a situation where a player’s game crashes or the player is kicked from the server, they should be allowed to have the same advantages as they have had before their leave. Players should not deprive other players of roleplay, e.g. early on the interaction asking them not to speak unless it makes sense in the roleplay situation. How did the player break the rule(s)? The Sheriff was surrounded by multiple armed individuals (heavy weapons) and was on his knees with his hands up. I circle around and start walking towards him when he presses his panic button. I find this to be a rule breach as he didn't value his life, seeing 3 men with shotguns walking around him. He also had his hands up rply and made no sort of rp to press his panic button without us noticing. I also want to mention that Draven_Vaspucci (ID 83) was pointing a shotgun at him from a distance as seen in the first second of the video if paused. The photos provided show that I was looking at the officer when his panic button was pressed and that Draven had a shotgun in his direction aswell. Evidence of rule breach: Video Evidence will be sent to the staff reviewing, as sensitive information is said in it.
