  1. In my opinion, there aren’t plenty of options left to escape police, especially with the current climate of how PD operate. If you are a previous felon 9 times out of 10 if you get pulled over for something as small as a speeding ticket, you’ll be asked to step out. This most of the time results in evasion where you have a helicopter and supers on you within 2 minutes. I feel the drag was a bike that criminals had a goal to achieve and was a good asset for criminals in police chases. The realism argument is so selective and makes absolutely no sense to apply it to the drag, especially when to my knowledge no one was publicly advocating for a nerf. I think realism is good thing but it should be applied in more different areas of the server than vehicles. I also don’t think buying a vehicle because of the stats is a bad thing, if you want a vehicle that’s fast then you should get it, no one buys a vehicle solely off looks. I still think there are some ways to escape cops, but not much, whether it be strategy or just a good driver. But I also think there should be “OP” vehicles because it provides an achievable goal. There’s always going to be new vehicles that arise that are also going to be considered “OP”, are they going to be nerfed as well?
  2. Good work Jimmy, loved the thread.

    More Blood

Good work, keep taking steps in the right direction!
  6. +1, maybe bring it back on Christmas morning? I think this suggestion would really help out with this
  7. It was a good run, great faction, with dozens of memories that I will never forget. It's a shame all this work has to come to an end in such a terrible way.
  8. I like some of your points @alexalex303but I think you and the rulebook are both contradicting themselves. As Fuz briefly stated you can’t have a war app without actively breaking NLR DURING the war, assuming that you have a shootout, there’s no question there has to be a change to the rule, no way can it be left alone. I agree with you that non official gangs should be able to declare war. However regarding the chaos I do believe if NLR was amended yes there would be some more shooting but not to the extent you claim. There is not as many people as there used to be due to a 40 member cap and the fact that Los Zetas disbanded, when referencing the WCA war. You also have to remember if the NLR rule was tweaked to how we want it outside of war, shootouts would not be 60v60. And if they are this wouldn’t be a daily occurrence, conflict is bound to happen we want it to be long term not dissolved instantly. These recent rule implements have been no doubt to increase the realism and immersion an example being the NRP robbery rules. If we are all about realism how is fair to limit long term gang conflict to one shootout, something that happens daily in real life?
  9. Huge +1. I’d really like to see either a higher up administrator or someone in FM just respond to this and give me some feedback about this adjustment. I find actively playing as a criminal, it’s extremely hard to develop any long term conflict under the clarification. I genuinely don’t see how any War Application or official war can be made if simply 1 large scale shootout dissolves all conflict, I actually make the argument that the current NLR is non realistic. Bruce already spoke briefly but there’s multiple ongoing gang battles in real life, why would a video game be less realistic than real life in regards to gang conflict? I’ve spoken to @Aldari_Tagril and his opinions were practically that large scale shootouts shouldn’t happen often. And I believe this is wrong, if the NLR rule is adjusted to in my opinion how most of the criminals want it, then you will have much deeper and more roleplay reason to do various things. All conflict doesn’t lead to shootouts, but all shootouts are from conflict. So once again if you dissolve all conflict, it becomes stale and hard to develop an actual story line. My specific character had a lot of issues with the Zetas, being that my very first gang was wiped off the face of the Earth by them due to poor leadership and high confidence. So that IC conflict was the main factor in deciding which gang I wanted to pursue next. With the current rule set of NLR, we would have never been attacked as much and never helped me develop my backstory as a character. A common misunderstanding people and even staff have today is that shooting people is just bad for the server. If I hadn’t had my gang (seaweed) clapped over and over I would’ve stopped playing honestly. The issues I had with them made me want to log on and plot my decisions to do next. Another thing I would like to say is take a look at a war between NLA and WCA that took place late 2019 to early 2020. The leader of one being now an active moderator @alexalex303, this war lasted extremely long around 8 months if I’m not mistaken. That type of long hard fought conflict isn’t possible anymore. It’s safe to say that if that were to happen today WCA would’ve received numerous messages from FM and most if not ALL would be punished for NLR from one person making a forum report. This same conflict was what developed NLA as a gang in the eyes of council because they showed persistence taking multiple hits from all gangs and still surviving. Being under the new NLR, their gang might not have had the same path.

    Los Chapos

Best of luck, great looking thread.
  11. +1 Crim vs Crim RP is severely ruined due to criminals ruleplaying.
  12. That's saying something too.
  13. Who are "you" to judge and limit who a gang actually needs in it? If a gang leader wants to have 60 members let him, there should be no OOC restrictions preventing him in my opinion.
  14. I could not agree with this post more. +1 I feel that the majority of the criminal RP is restricted due to OOC rules at this point. A big issue with ECRP's current standing is ruleplay and the new rule about robbery is very vague and doesn't provide specific details to what is allowed and isn't, it's very subjective. Personally, 9/10 of the robberies I commit I am always worried that I'm going to get reported and almost always accused of breaking some various rule. I have had numerous amounts of people say "You can't rob me here" or something along the lines of this, the ruleplay ruins any sort of RP and makes the whole map feel like an NCZ. I don't really understand the logic behind making a cap on the players in a gang, when in my opinion criminals are already at severe disadvantages when it comes to fighting PD and a limited amount of numbers would make this even more significant. A big issue I currently have is the issue of house raiding. I've had multiple house raids voided by admins because of the fact that my RP reason isn't sufficient. I find this ridiculous because a house is where most people keep their stashes which has a high chance to have some sort of weaponry, that in of itself in my eyes is a well enough RP reason to house rob someone. For someone to just feel safe going into their house because I haven't interacted with them rp'ly prior is just a joke. I however do agree that robberies were getting excessive, just the turn that this rule has taken it has gotten to a point where I can't rob really anyone. This is a quote I managed to find from an Administrator, which I feel should have more light shed on it and should be a changing factor when making new rules, gang relationships should not be dictated by the rules. Again, I feel a lot of the current issues would be fixed if there was more RP things for criminals to do such as robbing banks and other activities. The current criminal activities are very stale and don't provide much variety.
  15. Congratulations well deserved!
