We already get shot for just doing our jobs, you want us to be robbery targets as well now too? Obrigado.

I haven't always seen eye to eye with some of what this faction has showcased, particularly in the first half of the year but recently, I've had nothing but positive role-play interactions with you guys. Obviously always going to be a bit cat-dog with you guys being criminals and us being cops but I do have a certain respect for your faction, because you always tend to know what you are getting more or less.

This is the kind of faction the server needs. Chaz Forever.

Gang Wars are fine, when it's not the big fish kicking the shit out of the little fish all the time. Gang Wars are fine, if you have something to fight for. Gang Wars are fine, when people accept that losing doesn't make you a loser, but just another participant in the overall story. Until those three things are settled, doesn't matter what rule or system you put in place, there will always be reports.
-
Just a suggestion but could we maybe see more in-game screenshots of what you guys do? Think that would help show what you guys are about.
-
They should add the Barber Shop in Mirror Park and make it so you can only /cuthair inside. It's one of them where I swear half the people just do it as a troll and not for any RP reason.
-
Ya'll put some really effort into them screenshots. I love the style of the faction too, it's not about picking clothes that have colour x but more about a style of clothing. I'm not sure if i've encountered you guys before in game, but if I have and i didn't realise you're probably doing your jobs. Keep up the good work.

Well the suggestion is flexible, you can apply it to whatever legal factions you want, if they have an area that supports it for example. I could see perhaps the merits of keeping the vehicles out at Bayview and LS Customs because their operations are usually limited to their areas, but for Medics/Cops/Taxi Drivers etc.. we're all out in other areas of the city a lot. The main issue here isn't vehicle safety though, it's vehicle organisation and space.
-
I'm not sure about all that, i mean part of the fear of a gun is that you have no real chance of dodging the projectile. Someone hits you with a bat for example, you can at least kind of get your hands up and its only going to be swung at a certain speed etc.. Like @CaesarSeizure said, there's a lot more room for escape where melee weapons are concerned.

They do have designated parking, but my point is that it gets full. PD is a faction with 100+ people. You then have a bunch of people leaving their vehicles (legally) around Mission Row as it's a NCZ. So it becomes littered with cars.

I might regret saying this but welcome back, +1 support.

I'd like to make a suggestion that I feel would benefit the following factions and although it's some what of a convenience suggestion, there are some practical uses as well. This suggestion would benefit members of.. Los Santos Police Department Los Santos Sheriffs Department Los Santos Emergency Medical Services Downtown Cab Company Los Santos Customs Bayview Auto Center Weazel News San Andreas Department of Corrections The suggestion is to add the ability to store one civilian faction vehicle at the headquarters of your particular faction/s like the /park parking lot. This would require NBDY perhaps to alter the Parking Lot code perhaps, to support additional parking lots but it would NOT give you an extra vehicle slot or parking slot. It would simply work off of the same system as /park does now. This also could lead to additional parking lot spots for non-legal factions down the line. Why? I'll use LSPD as a prime example. If you've ever been to PD, you will notice that the PD tend to park their vehicles when on duty in the open area at Mission Row garages. Some Officers do tend to forget to take their vehicles away, as they might log off in the station and they get left there, we tend to tackle it as an IC issue though. There is also the issue of space, as civilians and visitors tend to park and/or leave their vehicles across from Mission Row lobby or to the right of it. This leads to a build of cars and GTA V's vehicle sync is sometimes unreliable so you end up with cars on top of one another, cars sticking out into the road and too many vehicles tends to make the area unsightly. There is also a small minor issue of cars being stolen from the NCZ which while an admin issue, doesn't always get reported. PD has a faction of 100+ people, and often the employee parking lot is full. By allowing something like this, you ease that issue, not just for PD but for those visiting as well as our factions in their areas too. Yes, the Parking Lot is two minutes run from PD but it's not just about PD. I'm also a member of DCC and there are only a few parking spots inside the gates, which are reserved for the highest ranks of DCC but they also have a good number of faction members and it can get cramped parking in there and since the DCC vehicles need to get out at an angle too because of the gate, it leads to problems. If you've ever been past the DOC, you will also notice that their inner gate looks like High End with all their vehicles lined up. - - - - If you want to go the realism route, Police Departments and other legal organisations provide their employees with secure parking for their vehicles. I think this is a suggestion that is both practical and realistic. These factions aren't gaining anything really over those not in a legal faction, it's just taking away vehicle clutter and also, allowing for the workers of those factions not to have to worry about their vehicles being stolen from NCZs or flipped over due to desync.

Date and time (provide timezone 14/09/2019, 02:21 Character name: Dezzy Bala Issue/bug you are reporting: I'm currently in both LSPD and DCC on one character and when i'm off duty as a cop, but on duty with DCC, I can still see the /dep department radio. Expected behavior: If i'm not tuned into any of the government frequencies, I shouldn't be able to see those communications. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Join LSPD, Join DCC. Be off duty with PD and on duty with DCC. Someone uses /dep and you can see it.

-1, because they'll just put those wavy club lights everywhere and the city of LS will look like a disco ball.

In an ideal world sure, but we go where the action is. If there's a shooting in Vespucci, we're going to Vespucci. If there is a chase on Palomino Freeway, we're there. There's just simply not enough units to do that effectively enough that it would make a difference. No Crime Zones shouldn't exist to make players feel safe, it's just a marker for areas where committing a crime would be very poor roleplay as the likelihood of being caught is very very high. For me personally, I'd limit the No Crime zones to the interiors of the buildings for Bank and Tequil'la. I'd keep the No Crime Zones at Impound, Mission Row, Paleto Bay Station and the Hospital as it is as well. The Bank is like the twilight zone. It's an NCZ but the only time i've heard about being dealing guns or drugs is outside the Bank.

Boom.

-1, this gets brought up all the time and it'll never work out because this is a game where minutes and hours count, not days and weeks. Forget all the faction allegiance or who'd run it or whatever. This fails simply because of the time it would take to get even a standard case through the court.

So is roughing someone up for wearing a primary colour but hey, we're all on this fucked up train together aren't we.

I mean in character you are. Don't see the money in the business as the money in the register. Like its the money they haven't counted up yet.

Perhaps Mr. Gamble, you might be right, I might be ignorant. However, I think you like being on top far too much to ever risk wanting to changing things. There isn't a context, it's a big moment in the server's story where multiple factions are meeting and you've got that numerical advantage. What else could Seaweed do but either spread their asscheeks for you and let you do whatever or they can stand up to you and still get rolled over with ease. The Wanted and The Rooks technically exist, but they aren't in the conversation for a reason. They aren't in the same league as Zetas and Triads and it's this little birthday party alliance that keeps the other factions out of things. Fuck, if I was making a faction, i wouldn't even wanna bother in this climate. The last faction to truly do things right and have real clout was AVLN and they stopped in March. Since then the gang roleplay in this server has been nothing more than a daisy chain. As long as you get your ring kissed every now and then, the status quo stays the same. People moan about the gang wars when it's unequal sides. You two are probably as equal as it's going to get and you choose to hold hands with one another instead of competing, it's so lazy. It wouldn't surprise me if your two factions have a photoshopped map carved up like a cake, "Here Mr. Gamble, I saved you the biggest piece of Vinewood." "Why Mr. Wong! this cake is simply delicious, how do you make it so light and moist?" "Why Jay.. you don't mind if I call you Jay do you? The key ingredients are love, understanding and admiration for your faction and all they do." "That is music to my ears Brucey boy, I love the way that we stand outside our grocery store and you ride around all day on your moto-bicycles. Make it make that noise on it that i love so much." "Beep." "Ah delightful, let's go and find some farmers to steal from!" Bruh, the Commission was more or less the same people. Italians, Sicilians, Italian Americans, Sicilian Americans. I'm not sure Lucky Luciano would think much to a Latino Street Gang holding hands with a Chinese Mafia. They were a shared people, a shared culture. At least that made some actual sense. It's a better love story than twilight. Did you choose Edward or Jacob in the end, Bella Gamble? All the gangs being diplomatic sounds absolutely delightful, is this a GTA roleplay server or Habbo Hotel? These diplomatic gangs are mindlessly shooting people, but exclusively, no shots are being fired against those that are in a position to fight back. Maybe it's because I'm not a criminal that I see things more clearly. It makes no difference to me what side wins, what bothers me is that criminal role-play is always going to be hamstrung when things like this are a thing. There is no point of a Wanted or a Seaweed or Rooks or whoever even trying to make a move because ultimately you're dealing with a faction thats twice-thrice-quadruple your size in some cases. I'm in the biggest gang in the server, the LSPD so I'm not getting bullied no matter what but the little guy, little Freddy Farmer or Michael Miner, he gets force-fed shit sandwiches multiple times a day because you're all too busy chasing cheap wins against people that can't fight back. It's called bullshit. It's just an in-character extension of not wanting to lose. You see the same attitude on a lot of these threads when people try and alter things for the better. Honestly in terms of the PD, we don't care who we arrest. If you commit a crime, it don't matter if you are a zeta or a beta. What does tend to annoy us though is when the big fish pick on the little guy. Criminal organisations work within their own, they might entertain business relationships with other organisations but the end result is the want for betterment of their own organisation. Ultimately this leads to competition to be the best. Zetas and Triads should be vying for top spot, not sharing it, that's retarded. Fortunately I can see the sarcasm in this lmao but it's true. It's like a Gang Human Centipede. I didn't make this thread to try and change anything, I'm not that naive. I just wanted to highlight how dumb and counter-productive to having an exciting server for everyone that plays this little hug-a-thug movement is. It worked, I got more nibbles than fishing at the pier.

This is a genuine question that has puzzled me for months, not just about the Illegal Factions now but the Illegal Factions before this and I ask Why do the only two official illegal factions on the server with like 95 members between them not fight one another and instead, pick on the smaller factions? I mean look at those screenshots. It's like 8 Seaweed against like 14 Triads and 19 Zetas. That says more about Seaweed than it does about either of the illegal factions. Imagine if it was those 19 Zetas standing across from those 14 Triads, now that would be a screenshot worth looking at. Real easy to talk tough, when you've got a 20+ man advantage. I don't like Seaweed as a faction and I don't dislike either the Zetas or the Triads so this thread isn't made through bias, but if you are running a gang then surely the goal is get to top spot and fight to stay there? Triads v. Zetas would be a lot more interesting as a bystander than big groups robbing small groups all the time. That way, gangs like Seaweed have the chance to grow a little and then these 95 people are too busy worrying about the other big gang coming to pop them that they aren't robbing civilians for hotdogs or playing chase me daddy with Police.

Interested to know what you mean about loving the trucker life, what do you enjoy about it?

Yes, I can't wait for the shootouts mid-air between choppers and people's games crashing and helicopters falling from the sky. No thank you.
