Fishing from your Boat in the ocean gives more fish/better fish

See I like this because there is practical logic to it and it adds something to the server. -
Agree, you should be able to trade properties for sure as there would be a lot of legal work involved. Trading guns in an alley or drugs though, every man or woman for themselves.

I'd support this if we could end this meme of a faction called Seaweed. The only role-play that is going to get ruined if this was implemented would be the cops. People don't want role-play to come from this, they want to kill cops and get free shit.

I think at this point trying to change the economy is like closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. There isn't really a way to fix it without upsetting people, especially Eclipse where people hate change

In my opinion, kicking someone out the car at 70 mph is very non-rp and it's not something the player has control of. For me, either send a notification to the driver or add the amount of fare they cannot pay for in red onto the meter. Then it's at the discretion of the driver what they want to do and also, DCC can incorporate their own policy for those that can't afford their fares.

Lyrics: West side, west side west side (x4) I'm a west side player, I should be the mayor. I'm heavy with the metal like I'm listening to Slayer. I'm at one with the force like Princess Leia. Heya! Penny, Go to Yellow Jack Inn and drink the Henny. I'm making enemies but far too many. Serthon talking pussy but he ain't getting any. Talking shit on forums, somebody's boasting. Love from the east but Dezzy's west coasting. Jessica Sanchez, baby girl know the motion. make her Wet and Stormy just like the ocean Hit it so good like i'm fucking her locomotion. Drink it all up, dizzy bala got the potion. They say on Alta Street, Dizzy Bala you the real one. Through play games, Dizzy with the real gun. Take the limiter off and let me ride. Dizzy Bala, High End Balling from the west side. West side, west side west side (x4) All characters used with permission.

I could give you a 3 hour video of them getting it right every time.

I see fake IDs like masks, they probably should be used sporadic but they aren't. They are just an excuse for criminals to do whatever with little to no impunity. I hear this "ITS A GAME" argument so much on these forums but what people seem to miss is that THIS game is to try and simulate real life situations in a video game environment. You want to do whatever with no consequences? Go to GTA Online. Felony Evasion isn't just failure to stop, it's actively trying to escape law enforcement's attempts to apprehend you. It's a serious crime so no, you probably won't get a job at the Cab Company when you get out of prison. Don't want Felony Evasion? Don't use a vehicle to evade Police when we're trying to arrest you. It's a choice you make, not us.

Has it though? If the timer was the same length as now but was for the whole thing, then i'd be on board with it.
-
It's about accountability and consequences for your actions. If you know you can do dirt and eventually it'll wash off, you won't worry as much about getting muddy.
-
I'd +1 for another one somewhere else in town, you don't need too many though.

I don't speak for every cop but for me personally, the Impound is a ball ache. But then it's also one of the select opportunities that cops get to interact with criminals in a positive way, taking that way completely isn't perhaps the best solution. After an academy in LSPD, we often have a surplus of Cadets walking around, not having anything to do. For me, I'd give them a quite crash course on handling the impound and send them down there. It's better for them to be actively doing things and roleplaying with people than just idling at the station. Also, there are two different types of impound. Secure and Regular. Secure Impounds are mostly used for when your car has been stolen and used in a crime and/or dumped somewhere it shouldn't be. So, I feel like it would be acceptable for releasing secure impounded vehicles to take no interaction, as essentially you're picking up your property like you would from Mors but the regular impound, we'll need to roleplay with you to get it out. That's not going to completely solve the problem but I think it would help.

Hell no, I actually like roleplaying

Or possibly just 'freeze' certain items in your inventory while jailed so you can't use or drop them. Having to store all a person's inventory for when they get out wouldn't be practical script wise but a toggle for jailed players would be a lot simpler.

I think this suggestion is certainly unnecessary. Perhaps if the criminal factions didn't insist on holding each other's hands, the server would be more interesting? Don't hate the player, hate the game.
-
It could just autoswitch you from being on job duty to faction duty surely?
-
I mean you'd have to work pretty much every single minute, where as DCC, you only need to be on duty and by your vehicle to get paid.
-
Um what? Senior Drivers alone make 6k in DCC. He makes $4.7k according to his post.

Since the speed limits are all in incrimants of 10, they could add like L and Arrow Left to reduce the cruise speed by 10 r L and Arrow Right to increase the cruise speed by ten. Having to do /cruise every time you wanna change is inconvenient.
-
Well it's a bit of an awkward situation where it's constantly in a same places but we have to forget they are there. If we get a call about them or stumble across them doing something else then we can destroy them. I did make a suggestion that might change that

If we are PD/Legal, we have to operate within the law no matter what. You put yourself out there when you decide to be a criminal but it's purely your choice. You said it yourself, after an hour i've forgot all about you so why is keeping you entertained my problem? I'm not DOC and i'm not a fellow inmate. See, I think people like you and actually probably a number of the criminals in this server are so used to the safety blanket of two hour prison sentences and it's spoilt you. Now that you have actual consequences for your actions, you can't handle it. You want it to be one way, but it's the other way. This is a game but there are winners and losers. Your aim is to do whatever you want, whenever you want to do it. My aim is to stop you from doing those things if they are illegal. If you avoid prison, you win. If you go to prison, I win. I can understand that you'd like me to empathise with your situation but what about the miners that get robbed or the people that get murdered? I doubt your thinking about their fun when you're ruining their time on the server. But that's how it goes. The strong pick on the weak. You only have a problem with that when someone else is the farmer with the shotgun and you're the rabbit. You want RP in the prison? You and your FeelsChromosomeMan buddies need to be creating it. Don't look to DOC or PD for the answer to your problems, we can't roleplay for you. If the sum of your efforts in jail is watching Netflix and doing the afkmath, then you're the problem, not us.

AFAIK, you have to do a /me when interacting with a dead body and you also have to do a /do asking for any resistance when interacting with a live person in this way. If people aren't following it, they're breaking the rules.
