  1. I'm sorry but this is a blatant lie, yes criminal support is lacking in some areas, but we don't go out hunting you due to this. We hunt you because you caused a war, if you fail to see that we're hunting out of reason and not just boredom I have nothing to say. There was a time when Triads got hunted by Zetas, and fair to say we never needed to abuse ncz for the sake of survival, smarten up and stop relying on abusing server rules to "progress your faction" NCZ abuse is one of the worst things to happen to criminal rp. Perhaps maybe you should take some lessons from the past, and lay claim to an area using it as a hq/turf, then focus on holding that down.
  2. +1 really good thread. I'd personally love to see the poker entry fee powered to 100 stamps, which is a 5th of what you get on arrival. This means you wouldn't be out after a single round. Perhaps the blind can be made to 20 stamps to match this reduction. Currently most people like getting locked in cells and sit there until time is up. If prison poker and the other mentioned topics were adjusted, it would definitely provide a good incentive to interact with others. Would also provide for some further criminal prison rp, robbing the person who just cleaned you at poker etc.
  3. Wouldn't mind this being added to the eclipse discord, helps people inform others when a genuine crash occurs. We've been using it in our Gangs discord for about 5 months, and have had 0 complaints about it.
  4. Loving the thread so far, gonna be nice to have an actual Irish man running an Irish gang. Looking forward to interacting with you. Hopefully this one sticks around.
  5. I don't think you realise the release price of a sultan rs from mors, or the repair costs it brings at mechanic shops. That amount of money is not commonly easily output by new players. Hence why its off putting, what kind of character development makes sense that you appear in town and magically have a car that others have paid millions for? If you take a second to read my post properly, I said in that XP could be used measure a simulated version of character development, giving character xp some reason to be locked per character as it currently is.
  6. Coming from someone who only plays one character, it still makes no sense that they are bound to a single character and not account. These vehicles were purchased via ooc means, meaning they should not be restricted to different IC characters. Especially as they are backed by the restriction of no resale for IC value. Perhaps have each character you make be supplied with the stock version of the vehicle. They could gain access to these vehicles after that character meets a certain XP threshold, allowing for more natural character development. Once they meet this requirement they would collect from the import lot for no fee. Then they can invest the IC cash to upgrade and develop the car, instead of receiving high class/value vehicles on a fresh character instantly, which to me is a poor system. Nothing is more off than seeing ((New Player)) whippin down the road in a Sultan RS, that they can't even afford to maintain.
  7. Perhaps have /approveticket added as a response to the /payticket. This could grant the person to pay tickets for the next 30 seconds or so, similar to a frisk. I may just be talking for myself here, but I kind of enjoy running into an officer you know and paying of some petty tickets, whilst making conversation and natural rp.
  8. Nice of you to mention this. Not sure if people have noticed or not but these recent shootouts with pd have dropped off a lot. Talking for my faction personally, we introduced andl ooc rule restricting these kinds of engagements, and for anyone that does occur they must receive approval from the highest rank online. There are a lot of things that go on in the background of criminal factions, management etc. Before you comment on this, please take a moment to explore this side of rp and gain some self experience like many officers have been doing recently.
  9. Sorry but in your first statement you mention extreme effort to gain heavy weaponry, this is not 100% true. All officers have to opportunity to gain heavy weapons at PO2, which 95% of officers will reach. As for "joining a gang and getting a big gun" you make it out like official gangs don't have strict recruitment. Talking for my gang, we currently hold 7 day ooc trials before they're even invited to be a member on f4, along with ooc rule tests and strict player log vetting. Once you are in the gang, this does not mean instant heavy weapon access. Over the entire server there is below 20 players total who can place orders for this weaponry, whilst I garuntee there is at least 50+ officers equal/Above PO2. As for gangs out numbers police, this is due to the simple fact that we learned how to work together, perhaps you should utilise your combined number of 130+ members joint together with PD/SD more efficiently and this would not be an issue. Official gangs are currently limited to 60 members max. NLR is an issue for gang members more than it is for cops, due to the reason that cops can still return and do their job, interacting with the officers who just watched them die. Whereas as gang members are fully prevented with interacting with anyone involved in the events of their death. You state that bike speeds should be powered but the Crown Vic is often seen going 240+ on the right road? Seems like an IC issue that a broke driver is utilising small streets and sharp turns. The most commonly used bike is the drag, which reaches a top speed of 200 in the city unless in very specific areas. Perhaps delpoy your xray/hsu and track the back properly. Throughout many cities such as London, bike crime is an epidemic, this is not a nonrp action to utilise methods that provide benefits over cops. Congratulations to the cops who have successfully derailed this topic making it yet another cops vs crims. Let's move it back to the original topic.
  10. For one I agree that PD should lose something, just for the simple fact to add more value to their lives. I've personally seen far too many terminator officers who run in, start shootouts and complain - the blame then falls on criminals for shooting back. Perhaps losing salary may not be the best option, but no matter what they lose, it should be something. Currently PD lose a radio and some food at max when they die. All they then do is respawn at pillbox, run to mission row, collect a radio and respawn their cruiser. Meanwhile in comparison, criminals respawn at pillbox and lose everything they had been carrying, often over 40k worth of street value for most people. Who are then forced to follow nlr, not interacting with their gang who were 95% involved in their death and have to hunt down a car again, essentially starting from scratch. I am not saying there should be drastic losses but the scales should at least be a littlebmore even.
  11. It seems that the amount of times it rains varies per person, due to the sync issues. Perhaps if we had all weather synced it would at least provide a level playing field to judge the frequency before reducing it overall. I personally don't see it rain often but everyday I see someone say "is it raining for you?" Neutral on this overall, weather should be synced before adjustments are made.

    Los Santos Triads

With the time of war coming back around, and the Russians beginning to run rampant throughout the city It was time to take action. DeAndre reached out to the Triads putting forward a proposal, He offered to set up a meet with the Russians as WCA has gained their trust and leak the location. Shortly after finding out about this Bruce informed his members to strap up and prepare for the worst. He then headed to inform the Zetas, after talking with Jay he was more than happy to assist with the idea. For months the Russians had happily paid tax to the council, one day this switch flicked. Bruce and Jay talked it over, it was time to show the true force that the council holds within the city. Now that the council had begun their preparations, it was time to reach back out to WCA. After another meeting, the required information was gathered and passed onto the Council, It was now time to put the game plan into action. Another gathering was set between Triads and Zetas to discuss the plan of approach and inform their members of the task. The plan was simple: Strap up, Pull up, Storm in, Show face. Now that all of the members knew what was about to go down, the groups convoyed up to their final meeting location. Ensuring that the mission was not to be compromised, all members removed the batteries from their phones and masked up. The final location was in an undisclosed underground lot, each of the members came heavily armed. The groups shared their weaponry, ensuring each member was ready for any outcome. It was time to wait for the message to move in. After storming the meeting location there was a mere two Russians attending the meeting, Meanwhile the Council had pooled together over 50 members for this operation. A known fact about the Russians is they have no pride. The "Mafia" was working side-by-side with the LSPD. This simple meeting turned into a blood bath at the call of the Russians, One mans actions lead to over 30 officers being shot dead, along with their backup from the Sheriffs department. Within the first night the Russians had dropped their colours, cars and any method to even identify them as a crew. The hunt was on, they attempted to blend in but instead stuck out more than the usual civilian. They attempted an ambush on the Triads whilst they were operating a drug lab, unluckily for them a scout noticed their convoy. This lead to the Council and the Rooks being informed, with only two casualties to our groups, 15+ Russians were wiped out. Throughout the night the hunt continued, The Council had compromised the Russians frequency without them realising. The Russians were attempting to prepare an ambush inside Humane Labs. Hearing of this the Council convoyed up, sending in 3 cars as bait. The call came in "It's only three Zetas lets clap them" Little did they know what was waiting round the corner. The Russians had failed another attempt at an ambush, losing more men by the day. The Russians slowly fell to lower class tactics, even some of which petty street gangs would not carry out. They began hitting tattoo stores, barbers, mechanic shops and general store attempting to gain one up on the council. Each attempt failed and the Russians fled for their lives, spreading lies of the stories on "We are fucking them" When in reality they were falling apart. History repeats itself. Those who refuse to pay the tax, end up ceasing to exist. War is only for stepping on the ants. Diplomacy is the Future. 理事会
  13. +1 overall, I'm all for new & unique criminal suggestions so long as they make sense. Simple forms of higher risk/higher gain "criminal" jobs would be nice and this is definitely one to add to the list, along with the recent money laundering suggestion. However I feel that adding a separate legal faction just to manage the sea may be overkill, I would rather see some internal divisions pop up within pd/sd to handle this. Onto the topic of islands, there would need to be new IC regulations set out to follow the searching and even approaching Islands by law enforcement. This would prevent the current walk up and search what we want attitude. Perhaps a revamped warrant system or something to coincide with this would work. A private owned island is the pinnacle of private property, essentially being out of Los Santos durisduction as its in "international waters" within the boundary of the map of course.
  14. There is a big difference between criminals "wanting to used numbers that are on record" than criminals being forced to use it as there is no other option. As for cross referencing MD calls, all you do is type a name into the mdc, which then displays full name, phone number, active and cleared charges etc of the caller. You state this is a QoL change but irl a person who has been detained by a civilian would have to wait around for law enforcement to arrive, process statements etc. You would merely be able to advise never mind pressing charges. As for placing charges you "witnessed whilst off duty" this is against already set out IC rules within PD. I'm inexperienced with SD to comment for them however, this would result in severe punishment/removal from PD. Off duty you are a civilian at the end of the day. Perhaps make use of the already existing "Crime Report" system on the Gov website and allow the detectives to do their job.

    Weapon Draw Bug

Date and time (provide timezone): 13/10/2019 16:00 BST Character name: Bruce_Wong Issue/bug you are reporting: Ability to bypass the weapon draw animation. Expected behavior: Be forced to do the animation at all times. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Holster your gun and then draw it, whilst taking out the gun press B to point - Skipping the animation. The draw time difference can be seen in the video below. First two are without pointing, second two are pointing whilst taking out a weapon.
  16. -1 to this, Most people like to represent something with their signatures and there is a lot of well done ones out there. I don't understand why all signatures should be limited to certain terms because of a few, use the already existing option and turn them off if needed.
  17. +1, it would be good to have more criminal style jobs like this. Perhaps make them user their own vehicles instead of providing scripted vehicles. Also I think that law enforcement should have to follow similar rules for jobs like these as they do labs, meaning they can't just camp the zones all day. Overall great idea though and will help move the random robbing away little by little.
  18. +1 to this, I've talked over this previously in comments, great to see someone flushing it out and making use of an idea. I don't see many downsides to this apart from the potential of low level criminals robbing sell points, such as certain people do at the mines. But let's not prevent a system that works for many because of a few. This will save the massive amount of clutter left around at the current clothing stores. Which currently staff have to go aduty and tp they items away.
  19. Neutral - It could be useful in unique scenarios but there would need to be faction rules preventing it from being abused as mentioned. Honestly I believe that the MDC deserves a full overhaul of its current system. There have been many suggestions on tweaking the MDC from both legal and criminal. Perhaps instead of removing set features or adding more the whole system can be redone to providing a satisfying change for both ends. Of course this would be another suggestion in its self and would be great to see criminals / legals work together on detailing a system that is tailored nice for each end.
  20. Drugs used to have benefits like the ones you bring up, some still do bring minor benefits. However these were removed. I do agree that there should be further enticement to sell drugs to other payers instead of a scripted drop off. However both options should still be available with equal rewards in relation to the risk/work required. A rework for the current drugs & labs is already undergoing development. This will solve many of the issues commonly risen on the forums.

    Dynamic Wounds

Did you even read the suggestion?
  22. Msato

    Dynamic Wounds

Current wound rp is very limited and often meaningless as everything can be stabilised on scene, with the minimal rp of /stablise. To help improve this system I believe it would be good to implement a dynamic wound system. This would work by adding different severities of injury: minor, major and critical. Each of these would have different aspects on how they act and can be treated e.g. A GSW to the head would be critical whereas a GSW in the ass would be minor. Each levels different aspects: Minor - Easily treated on scene, can be stabilised by general public/pd officers. Would have the slowest level of bleed out. Major - Can be treated on scene but but requires an MD to stablise the injured person. /cpr can be used to top up the health pool until MD arrives. Higher level of bleedout than minor. Critical - Can be treated on scene but not stabilised by anyone. This patient would have to be rushed directly to MD to be stabilised. Has the fastest bleed out of all levels by far. I believe adding this simple system could perhaps be a move to improving medical rp and making it more dynamic/tense. Along with this it could potentially be used as a system to remove death rp requests as the injured person would die if the correct resolution is not available fast enough. To balance out the potential issue of MD not being available at the time, PD could perhaps have a medical specialist role similar to swat.

    Death Rp

Yes there may be desync issues with the exact location of the bullet but this would just have to be dealt with, similar how to gun desync is dealt with and accepted. Whenever rage come with their next release these sync issues should be minimised by a lot. As for being a "godlike marksman" if you're equipped with a carbine in pd that provides training I'd expect you to at least put some effort into your aim. Perhaps take it slower, utilise first person to aim accurate instead of whipping our a carbine and spraying in the general direction. By non-lethal shooting I mean this rply, you could aim for parts of the body to prevent these critical injury markers popping up such as arms, legs, shoulders etc. Perhaps introducing a wound level system would help with this rp, such as minor, major and critical wounds - critical being scriptly unable to be treated leading to a characters death on scene, removing the requirement for permission for the rp. This is a different suggestion as a whole though.

    Death Rp

Death RP should just not exist in my opinion. Howerver it does, following up with this I believe it should never be controlled by a players out of character mood. As there have been instances of "you're a member of X faction, death rp denied". Perhaps adding more realism to Death RP would solve this issue, such as gunshots to the head/spine 99% of the time you would die from these on scene. Say if X number or these wounds existed it should be granted. This could entice law enforcement aiming for "non lethal shooting" providing some higher class shooting RP, as they are already trained in this matter. If also like to add cops are not immortal in the slightest, perhaps attempting to shoot an officer in kevlar with a regular pistol isn't a good idea. They're easily dropped when tactics/groups are used. Going back to my original statement, it would be nice to see the personal opinions/mood be removed when granting death rp, however as mentioned I believe it should be removed as a whole - coming from someone who has been granted it often enough.
