    Import Changes

I'm personally against scripted automatic notifications based on rng, that provide zero rp benefit and static outcomes of doing so. So yes I'm against having a 5% chance for us to find out about other gangs, we already manage to hit other gangs drops icly without this.

As mentioned before, A potential fix to this would be making the laptop unique per faction , meaning each faction would have their own resource pool. Along with increasing the ammon restock rate. 1 OOC hour for 14 SMG bullets is obscene. AK and Micro have increased restock numbers compared to SMG (within 10~ bullets) but the current resource drain does not make sense for it to stock this slow. It also makes zero rp sense, that all official factions are supplied by the same source even though they come from different backgrounds. Simple concept: Triads - import from China Zetas - import from Mexico Rooks - import from Russian WCA - import from Liberty City NLA - import from Mexico Each of which are individual resource pools, other than Mexico which could have 2 different suppliers.
  3. +1 with certain conditions, The "pay to win" worry is a valid concern as currently certain vehicles are credit only which perform extremely well. Instead, all vehicles purchasable by credits, should also be purchasable via IC cash. This eleviates the exclusivity when between the vehicles purchase type and gives the players a choice. Therefor removing "Pay to Win" and turning it into "Pay for Convenience" as someone people would rather spend the credits than grind IC cash, whereas others would not.
  4. IRL safety deposits boxes are private and often never evaluated for any contraband, however if caught the items would be removed. I feel that "illegal items" should be allowed to be stored within these if it was implemented due to it being a victimless crime. Similar to carrying an unlicensed firearm an an ncz. Instead of an OOC punishment for sorting illegal items, PD could carry out IC audits of storage boxes given probably cause. The storage boxes would be registered to the owner and then allowing it to be traced to who placed said items. If we're pushing for immersion we should not be focusing on an OOC punishment for someone storing contraband and instesd make it IC.
  5. Rules can be adjusted as can the script. This rule in specific does not apply to cars parked in hosues so it should not apply to cars in private lots. Publics lots such as the car park should still be protected by this imo.
  6. +1, in a group where we change frequency multiple times a day at times, it's horrible to have to send it to 40~ people individually. Adding message groups would vastly solve this, along with bringing further rp opportunities for planning other than face to face etc.
  7. Really nice video and glad to see that everyone enjoyed participating and coming along. More to come in the future.
  8. I understand that the vehicle is removed from potential roleplay, this could be easily fixed by asking the player if they had a vehicle in one of the private lot's with a /do and then spawning it, as in the initial suggestion it mentions the vehicles would rply be there. I'd like to add that this is for only one personal vehicle and there will still be many that remain unparked, due to people either having the slot filled, unwilling to pay the fee, or are simply not able to access a slot due to not being in a Faction for example. I have not proposed all vehicles be /parked, just some to reduce the seemingly abandoned vehicles.
  9. Updated to add Weazel - oversight on my initial write up.
  10. The purpose of this to assist in a main issue with the server currently, that being mass numbers of vehicle left around all Faction HQ's and high traffic areas e.g. the bank. What I propose is something along the lines of: Each faction would have a scripted /Park attached to one of their properties, where either a garage, large interior or sizeable area dedicated to a parking lot is available. Identical to how the current parking lot works. This would do the following: Each member of the Faction would be granted only 1 vehicle slot in the /Park menu. This would then have a parking fee that deposits the money to the Factions treasury. This price can either be set by the Faction or a standard fee similar to how the car park works. Legal Faction Examples: LSPD - /Park would be implemented into one or all of the garages with opening doors, this would then grant the faction member a place to securely park a single vehicle for a designated fee. LSEMS - /Park would be located at the back lot, already used for parking their vehicles. LSSD - /Park would be located round the back of the office, near the heli pad behind the gated area. LSC - /Park located in the already gated lot. Bayview - /Park would be located along the side of the lot, where all the cars currently park. DCC - /Park would be located being their /gate and off to the right/left side to allow cars and taxis to still drive inside and out. DOC - /Park would located behind their main gate and within the already existing staff parking lot. Weazel News - /Park would be located at the garages in their gated rear lot. City Hall - /Park would be located in their current parking lot across the road from City Hall. Money earned from the above would go directly into the Factions treasury and be used to assist with their current budget and used to provide bonuses etc. Criminal Faction examples: As Criminal Factions are often dynamic entities, the /Park could be allocated to an asset assigned to each Faction. The asset would have to have an open yard outside the /park zone to rply allow for parking areas. My proposal is that each of the Official Faction warehouses has a /Park attached to them, easily implementing it when other Factions also earn official and receive these rewards. Money earned from the above would be at a customisable fee, that would then deposit into the treasury, or collection box which would then have to be transferred to the bank to launder into an account. E.g. /collectparking at the /Park location and transfer the collected sum of cash, introducing some IC risk. Public Hotspot Examples: Each of the below would be miniature versions of the car park, and allow possible from 1-3 vehicles depending on the location. Bank - the rear parking lot at the bank would grant a new public parking lot, whilst still allowing cars to be unparked in a safe area. Tequilala - the back parking lot would feature a /Park whilst also allowing cars to be left out in a safe area, reviving the now dead but once highly populated parking area. Sandy MD - The front lot where cars are currently often abandoned would feature a /Park. Paleto Bank - round the side of the lot would feature a /Park, out the way of the main bank doors. Money earned from any of the above car parks would go directly to the Government and be used to fund their operations. Eac of these areas could be further expanded upon. Implementing this will assist reduce the current drops that exist in densely populated areas duento objects rendering. Whilst also spreading out the parking across the entire server and away from the highly targeted central car park. Further creating a more immersive and dynamic vehicle environment.

This problem is about the gang laptop access not "legal gun stores".
  12. +1 perhaps it could be done with a modifier key on the standard point keybind, E.g. Ctrl+B = point middle finger in a movable direction
  13. I play on max graphics at 2k resolution and still go fast, would you class it as bug abuse that I own a good computer? Barely anyone I know of that drives fast, lowers their graphics to achieve the speed. Gta5 is a 7 year old game, most computers within the last 5+ years are capable of running it at adequate fps. Poeple seem to forget that the issue certain cars face does not only increase top speed, but handling, acceleration and braking. I don't see any feasible way to resolve this issue as its a gta game mechanic. It'd essentially the same issue as others using X gun due to it performing better with desync etc, hence why shotguns are rarely used. Final note: the crown vic is also effected by this issue, give me a pd spawned crown vic and I'll take it 240+
  14. We recently did, hence why all factions should receive it
  15. +1 to this specifically, houses should allow more than one exist where it is realistic and this would be implemented into the building rules. E.g. Its highly unlikely a 1g apartment has 2 exists, however 2g+ and properties more than likely would. It would allow some more dynamic property mapping as the doors are currently stationary, along with better entrance/exit rp in certain scenarios, such as introducing roof exits etc.
  16. +1 I could see this being used on all sides of rp, along with player owned delivery companies etc. Warehouses currently have an inventory of 5000 volume with a scrollable bar as mentioned above. Perhaps 1/5th of this would be realistic for large scale trailer as you wouldn't want to fill an entire warehouse worth on contents in 2 trips.
  17. +1 all factions who achieve official status, whether its civilian, legal or criminal should receive a customisable interior as some form of reward imo. As for DCC I'm 95% sure they either have an interior or it is in development.
  18. This happens with all objects that move on a pivot, doors, gates etc and happens across all furniture whether attached to the faction or not.
  19. For just as cheap as a +1 per person, you could save a Kwang 50k per month
  20. Yeah I retracted my statement, prior to you posting the quote, some things still stand however. I don't plan on hiding my opinion. Lets do some maths: Comet Retro's used by criminals: (Below figures are estimates and have been granted more cars than actually are used.) Triads - 3/40 members = 7.5% Zetas - 6/58 members = 10.3% Rooks - 3/40 members = 7.5% WCA - 1/25 members = 4% NLA - 0/25 members = 0% Misfits - 0/20 members = 0% Vory - 1/12 members = 8% Not Fog - 4/15 members = 26% Unaffiliated Criminals - 3/50 people = 6% Overall total 21/235 Active Criminals = 8.9% Looking at these rough figures, a mere 9% of the active criminals on the server, utilise a comet and most don't use it as their main vehicle. This bring us to the point that not all of these players are online at once, lets take a inaccurate example and presume 50% are EU ad 50% are NA. Therefor meaning there is a pool of around max 4.5% of Comet users on at any given time. Yet you make this out to be a mass abused issue? - these vehicles are the top of their tier and retain essential a Super status. If you want to nerf cars over 4.5% over criminals who use them when you're online, it's obscene. Never mind you will never chase everyone of these players further reducing the number. It's a niche vehicle that only a select few have the option to utilise, there is no requirement to punish these owners as they "cannot be caught"
  21. You're literally embodying a stereotype and not willing to listen to any input what so ever. This is a GTA GAME MECHANIC ISSSUE and effects many more cars than just the comet. As I've mentioned above if we want to place limiters on cars as an IC restriction, there should also be ways to remove these IC that have a cost and consequences. Make the balancing fair for each side, not just "limit comets cause pd can't catch them"
  22. we get imports and an F4 menu. Imports as of which are almost useless in it's current state. Far from "Shitloads" of benefits. As I've said I'm against it for criminals only, but please do not come out here and make false claims such as the above. Please remember that Official Factions earned their reward.
  23. This is a known bug, And I'm guessing by regular development procedures they would fix this to support implementing said feature.
  24. I'm always open to adding unique items for cimrinals, however I believe this should be added for everyone. Perhaps more illegal car mods may be a better route.
