Altitude of a helicopter (PD, SD and MD)

Recommended Posts

All for it, it'll be easier to read the height altitude of the helicopter for pilots and it'll help them stick to their supposed altitude, rather than having to look in first person. Drivers don't have to go into first person to check their speedometer either, so it makes sense.

Big +1! I know that you can look at your minimap to get a general view of how high you are, but it is very un-detailed. (The bottom line is the ground, the first line 1000ft, 2nd line 2000ft etc..) You can't really see the difference between 500-800ft, 1500-1800ft, etc.

As many others said, this makes sense. I do not think that Helicopter pilots should have the disadvantage of having to check their altitude through 1st person looking.
