Currently, we have thought of events ourselves, but we know that there might be cool events the whole community can agree on. Please keep your ideas civil, we're not looking into creating criminal community events as we wish to focus on the civilian aspect of the server, as well as focusing on bringing the community together. Cyrus Raven Posted May 8, 2019 Report Posted May 8, 2019 I might be biased cause I won the jet ski one, but I really enjoy the events that give everyone the same cars or vehicles and the winner is mostly decided by skill as opposed to who has the better vehicle, item, weapon, etc... Also like other more social events like auctions and graduations. 4 3

Kris Posted May 8, 2019 Report Posted May 8, 2019 (edited) I disagree with the fact that it is the admin team OOCly doing events that interfere with IC roleplay. that's the only part I dislike about it. How about IC events that are made IC, as we've had plenty before. OOC events like karaoke nights on discord would be cool. we tried to have some kind of idol in-game but that is not even viable, as it was done entirely over Discord and OOC shitfest in-game, which most of these just turns into a NCZ as designated by an admin anyway. I would rather have the Event Team create OOC events that are done outside the game like graphic designs contest and some kind of idol like we had last time, but done entirely on discord. My suggestion is to work closer with the actual players in the server though and as Polarblunk mentioned make the planning IC too, involve the players on your server. I've put multiple requests for this in and asked for admin help for my own events to no avail; I just think it'd be cool if we could work together more, instead of it being a ''Server'' event and the jetski's being there with no actual reason it could be just an event that's actually planned IC, worked on IC, the funds are done IC, the means (Aka the vehicles in this case) are sourced IC. 2

Can't find the pictures back, but there were many people and there was a prize to win for the nicest car. There were many people, many cars and I liked it a lot as it was not just all about super cars. 1

Plenty of characters come from all sorts of backgrounds and having little events to celebrate that could be interesting. It also could be a good learning experience both in character and out of character.
