  1. +1 same, same goes for snake cam rp
  2. I'll take you up on that, together with @Phantas. We finna get strapped with gopros as well as insta 360's and talk all the smack to a tall hood mf like we Stackswopo. We were just wondering if drinks are included, hmu on Discord.
  3. Immerserve parking gameplay of 20secs/day use > mid-sized gameplay update. Cool idea, just a waste of your time mate, it's not gonna happen.
  4. It would take a lot of time, as it's a completely new system that also requires devs to look at every single house in the game that has or can have some sort of garage outside, which then needs to be matched with a magically appearing garage, which requires tons of map modeling for every single unique instance. So my original reasoning still stands, especially considering the latter part of it:
  5. If done, the guns should be rather cheap to purchase, having the department "fund" for the bigger part of the cost, let's say 80% or whatever. It would maybe improve some zombiewave-like fights, due to caring more about what you've got, though I don't think it should "cost cost" LEO's a substantial amount, whereas they have to grind to get equipment, it should be a semi-negligible price if implemented. This could also create more roleplay by having PD/SD protect their equipment shipments occasionally, as a stock of equipment needs to be maintained. If done, this should also be implemented for all other factions with spawned-in equipment, I could imagine how this would add more gameplay for managing positions as well as for the people helping to retrieve/ship the equipment To combat people hunting cops, possession of police weaponry should be a stupidly expensive charge and make you eligible to be raided, to search for more stolen equipment.
  6. -1, rather have devs spend time on adding/improving more gameplay instead of changing something you spend seconds of your day on
  7. Raise the time cap, lower the time for the individual charges, but let the time tick down to 0 while offline or on another character
  8. Add "ammo" for a tazer with a longer cooldown between shots. When the taze animation ends, receive reduced movement speed for x seconds.
  9. Mechanic shops are a money sink too, any money made by the business that goes over X amount "gets taken by gov", money made by the company isn't pocket change for the owner. Just promotes more interaction other than "repair" or "mods". I think it's more than reasonable, as it removed interaction by removing or lessening the need for roadside stuff, the mechanic job is already boring enough. I think the limited amount of "forced" interactions is the main issue with the server, which makes playing every day incredibly bland.
  10. And let the mechanic shops sell them along with a wax +!
  11. Nah my pockets aint that big -1
  12. It went from having fun as a collective, maybe being hard IC but both laughing ooc about wtf is going on, to sweating to win, again, both sides. There's plenty of people whom don't have this mentality, it's just some that ruin it, and we've let a space grow to facilitate that to a point it became the norm.
  13. I think you're wrong about some key aspects of this. Back when I and most others remember the server being genuinely fun to play every day, especially pd vs crim, it was when it was worth it to create a fun scenario. You'd risk getting caught, take the two hour sentence, and get some charges that were expensive but wouldn't set you back a stupid amount of grinding. DOC has always been shit. It had some ups and downs, but it's always fundamentally been dogshit. Back then, it was fun to plan out some scenario for weeks ahead of time, like kidnapping a cop that did you wrong or whatever, just to have fun roleplay with the cops for an hour or more. Whether you lost or not after the fact didn’t matter, because it was fun, and you didn’t get turbo fucked on every twist and turn. That’s the biggest change between now and then. It feels like now it’s always about having to win and pushing every rule, guideline, and bit of roleplay sense to its very limit and beyond, just to secure that oh-so-needed juicy W. Instead of trying to play out a fun scenario together where all parties can walk away having had fun, even when losing. That went for both sides back then. Now every situation feels like it’s about winning as quickly as possible and turbofucking you as the crim as hard as possible. I agree with the fines being lowered over the time being lowered, but I don’t think lowering some of the individual charge time sentences would be so bad either. It often feels like we’re just playing the NPCs so law enforcement can have their fun. There’s often no give and take while trying to play out scenarios. Instead, limits are pushed as far as possible (from both sides) to try and secure the W every single time. All sides are guilty of it, but I think one side in particular has the power to dictate the environment we’re in, and it’s often toxic and shuts down whatever you’re trying to do. That’s why a lot of old-time crims mellowed out or even stopped being crims, it’s simply not fun anymore. The current best and most enjoyable way to play the server as a crim, is to avoid PD/SD at all cost, and not to interact with them when trying to do literally anything or having anything. With this I don't mean healthily trying to dodge cops not to get caught doing xyz, but not actively trying to engage in rp surrounding criminal activity. Same goes for simple things as driving off from a traffic stop, it's just not worth the effort or time anymore, the amount of fun is watered down and most unfun things are being underlined time and time again. Obviously this was always the "best" way to avoid cops, but most didn't join a roleplay server to do that. I am not blaming anyone or either side, I am blaming both sides in-game for having this mentality while playing. However, the biggest factor of this all I think, is the landscape we've been letting grow out and become the new norm of today. There is no simple adjustment or "nerf" the server needs; it's the mindset that needs to change, and the landscape that encourages it. I was going to end it here but to give an example to the alinea above's last sentence; by landscape I mean IC as well as OOC guidelines/rules/norms, simple example for PD: back in the day some cops were corrupt in a sense to maybe beat your ass in a jail cell, or hold you illegally, sell convensecated weapons, or maybe to let you go after apologizing to the store clerk after robbing him as a newer player. Nothing like this is able to happen anymore due to strictly having to be boring and strictly by the book.
  14. Give everyone MG mk2 to even it out. Solved, you're welcome. @staff you can close the topic
  15. This should go with some guidelines on when this should be applicable, rather than just being picked out just cuz
  16. Remove all Mk2s serverwide, lower the AP cap to 100 serverwide, and make mk2 guns deteriorate over a month or two instead of the week or two as suggested, to keep everyone more satisfied and circumvent 2 weeks of an absolute shitfest rampage. After that period, LFM will be able to control all the supply and stock and tweak things as they deem necessary. I don't think this is a complete "fix" to anything, but it's definitely a first step in the desired direction.
  17. Unban all banned players except Hoxton Curry
  18. I think we should bring back the KOS rule, but only for cops, it would be more realistic and fun to interact with
  19. -1 I actually think we should keep the blue-tarped car; it's part of the lore of Eclipse roleplay. Who knows what's underneath the tarp? How are we going to find out if the prop is removed? I have had roleplay leading up towards the moment of uncovering what's under the tarp for the past 7 YEARS, please don't ruin my immersion.
  20. -1 What's stopping people from just taking the materials(Or just one/two types, so you can't finish any recipes) or dropping them to despawn them and shut the lab down? I don't think less is more in this case. Having more steps to cooking drugs, such as having to import certain materials, grow weed, mine, and buy the other supplies adds more steps as well as creates more space to promote more interaction. I think creating more interaction by having people buy materials from each other, such as sodium/weed and importable materials, is more beneficial to the server than making labs a one-stop shop. I think adding even more ways to obtain ingredients instead of buying them would have a more positive impact than making it a one-stop shop lab system. Some ideas: - Creating rolling paper using wood at the woodcutting place. Would add this to the blunt recipe, making it cost a rolling paper and either one or two weed plants - Amonia comes with gutting animals and maybe getting some as a reward for doing the garbage job. - Powdered lime obtained through mining And so on. I think there are plenty of options available; these are just random examples I just thought of while keeping the development load of things low, ea, adding an item to a recipe and receiving it from action A, rather than creating entirely new systems.
  21. Hello miss Daniels, welcome to the family!
  22. +1 Make them broken legs be really broken
  23. Still now lawnmower, Daniels mowing will never be a thing
  24. The racetrack has been fun, both for the events held there and for any usage outside of them. However, I believe it's not, or maybe it's barely being used anymore. Since it is no longer used, it feels more of a hindrance, by blocking off many sections of the Terminal and making it annoying to navigate around the area. Another alternative to keep track but also limit the hindrance of it could be to remove the barriers on the sides of the track, so we're able to cross it without having to find our way through the current maze
