Jamming changes are needed, i understand the changes for balance, but having a gun jam and my legs decide to not work makes no sense and just puts me in situations of a free death. easy fix remove jam till fix is implemented. change the way jam is handled by the anim remove the script and have it be a manual fix

I love eclipse its fun to play in however i find myself a year in doing the same stuff everyday and noticing how limited we are in the city, stand at bennys working stand at bayview working standing in a lab cooking standing waiting for a cab call to come through standing... you get the point i would really love to see some mini games, we have a golf course why not use the base game gold script to let us play golf? darts at bars? making bars a social hub for friends and games. other things such as pool? or tennis, just more small down time games i can play within eclipse giving me something to practise and become better, allows for rp tournaments. golf pool darts tennis pedal bike rental (for mount chiliad)

With the new decay system i think its a step in the right direction to control amount of guns on the street i would like to suggest a new crafting idea the base idea would be to craft guns, the way i imagine it would be as follows: we search dumpsters, trash piles, scrapyards, for metal or (gun parts) then we have to go to a work bench (could be a public location) and have to craft on the tables piecing them together, this could restore guns or make new guns. this will also see people grinding to get guns instead of click order wait and then have guns. ofc keeping orders for the rp interaction too, but this could allow solo crims to make a rp scene selling guns being a gun dealer or have cops arrest for carrying gun parts or dealing, ofc this idea could be expanded on but here for a baseline

ill keep it short and sweet, REMOVE DOC, or atleast cap it at an hour long jail time, why am i spending 3 hours of my free time in ur city in a place where 95% including guards are AFK? why am i stuck in a box where all i can do is pick mine and wash, there is zero RP rarely AltRP and its just a huge time waster remove it change it just stop making us lose our fun in the city for the sake of a guard who will "lock down" when any fun crime rp is done

many times during a MR we are in dangerous locations, id love to be able to put some road cones down with lights to help keep my character safe, this will also allow us to bring more than one car along getting more people involved in a rp scene so not so many people have to just stand around waiting for a new mr or repair to come in

My thoughts on those change is indifferent, I love the fact ill be repaid for my efforts compared to someone whos new, however being as someones whos put in hours grinding different crime only to be told "hey your going to be paid less than what you would have" is super demoralizing, I think the idea is great but the lack of incentive to reclimb is a problem, id be happy if they gave better prices for max level then previous but kept us starting low, that seems balanced and a good compromise. I know alot of crims dislike the changes and the last thing i want to do after a hard days graft irl is to come home to play a video game and have to dedicate my hours to a second graft. i cant roleplay as a criminal if im spending half my time making afraction of my money because i just evaded from the police, or did any scene for police rp. i would love to see some balance and remind us all this is a video game to make it fun and fair for the sake of all players enjoyment

i would have to disagree with the post by requiem, i dont think this move brings any more rp than usual? ordering a shipment as a crim is a simple as ask someone, place order, get order. roleplay will not come of this due to the nature of the drops its self, now all we will see is more fights at drop points, or criminals stealing legal firearms off of players. ontop of this all this seems to be IMO is another way to make the criminal life more of a grind and repetitive. i now know i have a time frame on my guns, so i am going to use them with any excuse as many times as possible in order to make the most of my grinded experience. on another note this wouldn't affect police in anyway but would only affect crims or legal gun owners who now have to spend more of their money on something petty over working towards a bigger goal.

I would really love to see some more DOC things besides the two chores, jobs to make food for people inside, scripted lawn mowing, work out script in the gym area. just some overall roleplay experience scripts, just to give people more to do in doc besides fight guard or each other, or just afk. Other things giving more money for chop cars, and atms and stores, even more banks open at once, all of these would stop gangs just rolling labs for 60k loadouts and drugs to sell for money. I think also making a overall to legion making it a hub, where people can meet sit and talk and interact with one another. I also would love to see poor rp held accountable, by ic faction leaders and admins, seeing cops taze dudes instead of rp grab them just coz "i cant be assed to rp" needs to be held accountable. seeing tazers used in the current way is just a way to stop people doing any real scene "man running away" could get more units and cut him off and tackle him, nah ill just taze him so i can cuff him. "oh look hes in cuffs running" lemme taze him. i get people can be annoying and run 6 times after a taser hit them but we shouldnt lower the standards to their level instead report it and have the rp happen. also I WOULD LOVE to see if possible some NPC's driving or walking, this would stop people shooting into crowds and add the dynamic of "u shot into a crowd" terror charge giving harsh consequences to civilians but also balance when police use a gun to shoot tires. Additional things would be offer support to those who run events if someone comes to you with an idea as gov/admin let it just be a fun event instead of a "spend ur own money to make our city fun" usually we have to source our own stuff and i get that for rp but not everyone has 600k for a car that people enjoy or is meta. could also add some 1of 1 events make people want to attend coz its a car they wont get ever again

looking over a lot of this, its a debate between "this is how real life is" and "its a video game make it fair", although i think police should have good odds for immersion but this is a video game and rp to have fun, we cannot say "oh irl cops would win so they have to in rp" that's just forcing rp, if we are trying follow the "irl the cops would win" then why are cops allowed unlimited ammo unlimited stacks of armour in their car, cops shooting cars to despawn them? when blocking a funnel, either the staff decide hey "this is a game lets make it a fair battle" or "this is intense rp" and enforce some changes, to stick onto the topic, despite what equipment crims get, they have to pay for it our of their own hours and playtime not free to the gangs after hitting a certain rank, even once the gang has reached a tier that gives them new guns, its "pay for it, dodge gangs, dodge cops" due to the nature of how much we have to invest into just getting a gun I dont feel i should be fighting 4-5 waves of factions. on top of this with often labs being close to main roads or cops speed trapping in ear shot range of labs the crims have a rough experience. this is GTArp we all came here to roleplay and have fun and in order to achieve fun their needs to be a balance to factions in order to keep it fair. this isnt a hard core rp server, this isnt a cop roleplay group, this is Eclipse Roleplay where we come to have fun with friends, cops are not going to be mad for losing free guns.

additional note: i have tried several times and i know others have, to do a breakout rp scene to be rejected due to not on duty DOC guards or not enough, so when DOC attend to calls for a shoot out, its also taking away from the rp scenes that could of happened within DOC also, not considering DOC is limited on what to do for rp based on my previous suggestion of better DOC for more rp. it just all piles together

their needs to be a fair policy to both legal and criminals, if the rule to "call backup unless planned " is enforced. why should crims who have to pay for weapons graft their gang tier pay for armour and any arrest bills have to fight the entire 3 major legal factions to win a scene, why is it very heavily "cops should win" mindset over " skill and planning to win and define the city. this makes it so unfun for crims because in the worst case scenario a gang is fighting another gang then the cops then sheriffs then doc then gov. like how is that going to be fun for any crims or rewarding. just seems to me its driving the criminals into frustration.

I would love a revamp of the DOC choices, i find when people go to doc the rp kinda stops and it becomes a chat room, i would love the chance to work in the kitchen for stamps or work out for rewards something to insight people into doing things instead of afk or fighting

I would love to see the guns or health re worked, simply by the means of making a gun more scary. examples I could give would be head shots being realistic making all players bullet sponges confuses me till this day, If someone is shot in the head they should be dead/downed this would make people less "lets go fight" because my glock could headshot you against a your ak it doesnt have this "IM RICH SO MY GUNS GOING TO RUIN YOU FASTER" ADDITIONALY it stops the idea of "i can take this many bullets before i go down i can fight this " yes ofc we are here to roleplay and you should fear a gun but in the same sentence i would love for the gun to be scary as a dude behind my screen playing a game i would like it to be a bit more convincing when i go into a gun fight im going to be at bad odds rather than "im stacked with a heavy and armour i aint worried", i understand the overall "well then body armour is pointless" but i hear a chance to sell a helmet on top of armour for extra items to add and grind for or simply a buff to health with armour on.
