  1. That is not what I suggested, have another read bud. I said it should not be a given but be a possibility of roleplay at least. What does that have to do anything remotely with the original suggestion? fearrp/nonrp are still a thing. I am not here "preaching", and neither is the way you suggest I or we play, the way Iplay the game. It's very easy to draw up your own picture and make your conclusion based on only what you see. I suggest maybe trying to see it from the other side too. With your way of thinking I'm going to claim that applying for LEO factions is fearRP because you know you will be involved in a lot of shootouts!! How does your point make any sense? Of course not, but it's a two-way street.
  2. When did I suggest that? Have you ever seen me do that? Dont comment if you have nothing useful to say about the suggestion "L take". How is losing your stuff and getting NLR'd escaping anything?
  3. The image you used is extremely misleading in multiple aspects of it It takes into account the frequency of how often someone gets shot in each body part, so it displays where lethal GSWs most commonly occur. Not the chance of survival per specific area, which is what OP suggested about. The image you used is drawn from a military dataset in battlefield scenarios, which commonly use body armor, helmets, etc. On the battlefield, there's obviously less medical care available than in a big city and with more delay due to being on a battlefield, making injuries that might be treatable in civilian settings far more fatal. This is what your table of the estimated mortality rate would look like in a civilian setting (not taking in account what more common is). Head/Face 70-90% Neck 50-70% Chest 25-60% Abdomen 10-40% Back 10-30% Buttocks 1-10% Upper Extremities 3-8% Lower Extremities 3-10% Of course, we all agree that a gunshot wound can be fatal in various locations, but I think we can also agree that being shot in the head or neck is almost always fatal. Besides, it doesn’t make sense to aim for those areas if your goal, as an LEO, is to "win" by successfully arresting the individual, as you suggested. I personally don't think these scenarios are about "winning" or "losing", but rather about what makes more sense to keep the game more fun.
  4. I think death RP should not be a given if A or B happened, but an option at least. I believe death RP when it was still a thing made for better RP in a lot of instances, as people had to roleplay for it. It also prevented for example being blown up one minute and being read your rights the next. Also, I have seen comments that it will be "abused" again. What is there to be abused? To have roleplay that makes more sense and get NLR'd instead of going to prison? How did someone dying instead of sitting for up to 3 hours in the roleplay-filled prison make you feel like they have abused something?
  5. Whatever he said W Bala
  6. I think we should add more Christmas trees
  7. Fuck it, let us roll SUPER blunts with more weed in it to double the (positive)effects!! Why can I only put two 3 foot tall plants in my blunt?
  8. If anything I’d suggest introducing 1G apartments instead of houses so new players don’t get rinsed by the market for a shit 1G house in Jamestown.
  9. - Each tier increases the limit of the amount of people allowed in the faction. - Maybe make the treasury be unlockable on a certain level. - An interior somewhere, increasing the size on certain levels. - "tasks" or events from a counterpart of the cartel, depending on the orientation and lore of the faction.
  10. How about setting a fixed amount of equipment available per cruiser and applying the same principle to everything in their current mobile armory? Each vehicle could have different loadouts, or officers could customize what they bring along in their car, adding a strategic and tactical aspect to it.
  11. -1 Lowering the top speed cap would only shift the meta by nerfing all cars with a higher top speed, I think some of the problematic cars should be looked at individually, the main one being the Niobe. I don't think the top speed for most vehicles is the main issue, as most cars in GTA are fairly balanced. For example, the Elegy Retro may not have the greatest top speed, but it compensates with much better acceleration, handling, and braking. However, some of the newer vehicles have increasingly better overall stats, which we could address server-side by altering these stats or making the vehicles harder to obtain. Regarding the Niobe, I agree with what others have said: this car isn't just fast in terms of top speed; it's broken as a whole. Its overall stats outclass most super and sports cars by a significant margin. The only apparent weakness is its braking, but that's the case for nearly every car, and braking isn't a stat you want to be too high anyway, especially when you have the handling to make up for it. Having a high top speed combined with high acceleration would be acceptable, but the car is also incredibly forgiving with a handling stat of 100, which is ridiculous. There are additional stats for vehicles that the game doesn't display, and these could also be adjusted server-side to fine-tune some of the vehicles further.

  13. I am prepared to increase my offer by an additional five hundred thousand dollars (500,000 USD), bringing the total to reflect the premium I place on the unique condition of the vegetation surrounding the property. The well-preserved natural landscape significantly enhances both the aesthetic appeal and the environmental value of the estate, making it a rare and desirable feature. In recognition of this, I am more than willing to outbid the current offer by this amount, ensuring that my offer stands out as both competitive and reflective of the property's true worth.

  16. Welcome! Don't be too stressed/nervous, everyone here started where you're about to start too
  17. This is coming from someone crashing their car and just respawning it 100x a day with no ic percussions, cost for himself or his faction. This is yet another update that rebalances things, mostly disadvantaging crimes and civilians, I'm up for making things more polished, and realistic or tuning them to make more sense. However, it seems that most updates aiming to achieve this end up widening the gap in a level playing field between criminals/civilians and other factions, particularly law enforcement. I don't believe this is the intention behind the updates, but each time they end up slightly widening the gap.
  18. There should be a difference between mechanical/engine damage and visual damage
  19. Current Issue: Currently, when a player is downed, their weapons remain in their equipment slots. This makes it so players can't be properly looted, which makes someone's weaponry untouchable unless you fully kill them. It's very frustrating during conflicts and doesn't make sense overall either. Proposed Solution: Implement a mechanic that automatically transfers a downed player's equipped weapons to their inventory, similar to what already happens when a player fully dies. This will make the downed body lootable, allowing other players to access the inventory and take any weapons to tamper with evidence, steal, or for whatever other reason.
  20. +1 This is super annoying
  21. Cool stuff, well made!
  22. It's hard to believe it has been 5 years since we lost you, Dan. Your blunt honesty was always refreshing and one of the things most liked about you. Though you're no longer with us, your legacy lives on through the many lives you've touched. You are dearly missed, but never forgotten. ~Fatface It's sad to see many videos and screenshots aren't viewable anymore, here's two silly ones I could find, Harm falling for the oldest trick in the book at LSC: A couple of messages after a hostage situation:
