Unfortunately, the culture previously has been if you speak negatively about staff members or the server you are muted banned or kicked. Freedom of speech should be a thing again as long as you're being respectful your opinion even if it doesn't align doesn't need to be muted or called toxic. I respect everything risk is doing, I've had the chance to be a part of it as well as be on the player side of it. I think FM needs to take a step back like Clank said let IC issues remain IC, When faction management steps in and say's we're going to remove your imports unless you stop fighting X,Y,Z or unless you do this or that.. is total BS Our attempt of role play is being dictated and blocked. Unfortunately, because people are scared to speak their opinions because they might not rank up in staff or in gangs, Everyone has become a yes man for the most part unless you are super senior and have the advantage of no fucks given. You conform and are forced to conform to the general consensus in fear. The only person that has managed to speak their opinion is Bala and it's because of what he has done an does for the server that he gets away with it. If it was anyone else in staff they would be removed an prob a reason found to ban. If you're opinionated, you don't fit. For some context my gang was involved in a turf war with another gang We had an IC meeting after a week or something and it was decided we were going to have a cease fire. The other gang went back on their word so we bombed their turfs for another 2 days until FM came and said stop doing it or we're removing your imports... "HC from both sides are complaining to fm" so 4 members of a faction who were not elected but chosen by other hc get to speak for the other 26 ppl? The overstep of faction management is too large Their job should be to provide us role play and an outlet to be heard not to dictate. Let roleplay happen. The current rules and overstep of FM around official factions are what creates clap crews. If I have 7-8 friends that want to do whatever we want to do and have no one dictate our roleplay We just create a Clapper crew. We don't have to deal with FM and them threatening to remove imports. We roll together do whatever we want kill cops some who are admins, enough people complain, because of simply dyeing an getting "ego'd" then eventually get spectated all the time get caught saying or doing one little thing an then banned. All because of hurt egos and feelings. The favoritism needs to stop. The amount of complaining in /z chat or /f when admins die in shoot outs being cops is alot, i've seen it 1st hand an that needs to stop your a player like everyone else. When I was in staff and a member of Dark Army I saw it firsthand and it directly contributed to a "gang up" of staff members who've died then started specing them until they see anything to ban em DA isnt the only gang this has happened to. You need to remove staff members that are not active in the server for 5 to 6 hours a week or some number? Everybody has a life and that's totally fine some people's lives are the server other people's aren't, If you have to play two to five hours to be part of a LEO faction it should be similar to be a part of the staff team to stay up to date with what is going on in server! Instead of ranking up going AWOL. Chiming in some meetings with weight to your opinions that shape the server when you have actually no idea what's going on because you don't play. We have Alderine who hasn't been active in server in years other than some form paperwork giving weight to player reports and opinions to shaping the server. There are others also Who because of the past hold on to high positions and their opinions matter but unfortunately their views of the server are from years ago and have no idea with the day to day server OPS. Like straight up these issues that we're having comes from the top comes from management we're just players It's the mismanagement of the server that has caused this larger problem. IE Like mentioned above you have senior staff members that do not play that come to these meetings and give their opinions or in back channels or are in charge of departments an haven't played the server in years or 3x a month to spawn in as a dog an fuck around or be a leo for 2 hrs because you want to PVP. This is a role Play server but everyone is terrified to also admit it is a PVP server with rules!! There's nothing wrong with that How many police officers have come up to my gang character and asked if we want to run it back or do we want to fight Where's the fight. This happens frequently if you are considered a "cool" player an wont report them for asking. We need to embrace a form of PVP and be OK with it, It's not a bad thing. Police want to fight DOC guards want to fight Gang members want to fight everybody wants to fight!! mostly and it should be OK That's how we have a healthy environment. I respect every volunteer that puts their time into the server I have been there i've done that I know what it takes and thank you trying to make a difference. I don't think limiting speeds of cars are going to bring people back to the server or change anything If you can't go fast because of NPC cars well then what does it matter how fast your car goes? The server is built on spending your life on it, You want to run a business you need 14-20 million and they're only being sold now because the server's dying. You have warehouses and properties Owned from people that used to play 4568 years ago they are never resold they just sit there unable to be purchased by anybody that needs to change. You can have Two players do the exact same thing at different times and depending on who takes the report have two different outcomes. It's all dependent on the person taking your report there is no standard unless it's a clear cut DM it's all the opinion of the person at the time. These are just the hard truths that I see. Unless some of these things change trying to keep new players within the community will be very hard

On 5M there are a ton of servers to choose from an if we want to attract and keep new players Some things have to change!!!! In my opinion if we stay the same way we are with the same attitude the same rules then it's going to be the exact same thing as now the cycle continues. I am going to be very blunt like it or don't. This is our one chance to get it right because if we don't it's not gonna get that much better. Remove the ability to use team-speak, it is the biggest meta tool ever, i played leo for 2+ years im well aware of what people say in them including staff members... you don't need j-tacs anymore use a joint in game radio channel... OR open team speak channels for all crims to sit in a talk to each-other like everyone in leo does unregulated like they do... Remove GSB's free roam ability/ lawful order outside of events an city hall where no gov personal is being protected. I understand this faction was created to provide security for government players and it is kind of stale, but they know what they signed up for... not only do we deal with PD/SD but now GSB?????? If there's no event or no government person that they are protecting, why are they flying around in buzzards 2 stacked tazing people out the front windshield for failing to identify near trucker hq........ they are not cops an shouldn't be allowed to act like them. Unless on city hall property OR actively protecting a gov person. Which leads me to my next thing Why does GSB and DOC respond to massive shootouts; I don't know if they have in a while??but previous they would call everybody in to help to fight It's OK for criminals to win we don't need to fight the whole leo world.. There have been times where I have fought PD-SD GSB doc and medics, Probably some of the most fun I've had i'm not even complaining but come on a bit much eh? Gang squad; pulling people over cuz they are a known crim an jason/others baiting people to step out for not yielding through an intersection or whatever bs they make up while doing the speed limit is fucked. loosing 150k+ kits to the Baiting for pursuit or shoot out. told to cry and /stabilized instantly cool......then proceed to take you to mission row for 30+ min in a holding cell.. lets be real this is a RP server but its a game no one wants to sit in a holding cell before max time at doc!! This should be eliminated.. OR start jtime then take them back for whatever rp needs to be "done" after the timer has started so the player can actually RP an kill time off the sentence. If you want new players to stay on the server, on 5m you have to make it easy and fun!!. I don't care how many activities you have in jail sitting in there for that amount of time is not fun and there is no argument It's plain shit!. max 1 hour with change to reduce, I understand they want the law review committee to go over it change laws an times for jail but.. straight up that committee and game loop is a joke, it's detrimental to server health. This needs to change from an ooc pov... There is zero 5m servers that have this length in jail. license suspensions: A 12 hour license suspension for evading is absurd 12 hours in real life that you will be instantly pulled out of your car If it is seen driving because your license is suspended, MAX 2 hrs again this is a game an new players will move onto other server with less harsh penalties.. We are barely holding on to the population we have we will only survive and strive if we attract new people and change some things so for some old people to come back. Police have a very OP advantage. We have all watched cops /fl new ammo an armor with 0 rp get new choppers when they smokin. " Well provide proof and we will deal with it make a form report" Unfortunately most players feel this doesn't do anything an is a waste of time, we make in game reports an no one wants to take it cuz they are in RP or its to big of a report to handle in game... Let's all stop pretending here and just be straight up, like straight up this shit happens all the time you guys know it We all know it we all see it remove /fl anything and figure out a way staff leo's can't abuse /vehr on their cruiser instead of changing it, like some just go around a corner.. IT HAPPENS ALOT The other night 4 choppers all with gunners. Someone has pov post it!!! . They fly at a height we cant do anything about an just 0 recoil shoot as a chopper gunner. There is zero argument how to this is fair!!! Cops are meant to be more powerful than criminals but there has to be a balance. Then a bullet proof veh comes an runs people over someone had pov of that also! This leads me to my next thing, The people that volunteer their time to help this server as staff members are greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, there's quite a few that hold positions high in leo/staff that do not have an active grasp on the day to day life of the server anymore!!! They do not play. but have leo characters and jump on from time to time an or involve themselves in conversations in the community, hold weight to there words give opinions how to change things but are so outdated from what's going on!!! We should Thank them for their time and move them along In a very timely matter! As someone who hasn't played for months or logs in for an hour or two once a week or does forum paperwork shouldn't have the weight they do. Again life happens nobody's upset that you're logging in Enjoy it enjoy life but don't also hold your position of power within the community and have weight to suggestions you have no idea about. I enjoy this server but the shit has gota change if we are going to progress an remain a active community in a new world of 5M. if you've not played Other popular servers, You would have no idea what it's actually like on 5m. Well I hate to break it to you but now we're all going to be on the same platform and unless we have something that makes us equal to these other popular servers fun an less like "its supposed to be like real life" were just going to be another low pop high grind/ sit in jail forever lol. Streamers dont play ecrp much anymore because of the insane meta's Leo's or crims. The economy of this server the cost of living for a non LEO character is wild. Leo's print money They don't pay for anything except gloves and radios when they die while a criminal could easily lose 150k to some bullshit an then sit in jail for 3 hours.... how's that fun for anyone lol. make cops pay for kits an other things.. on average a leo will have 3+ million easy unless the gamble it all away but a 4g or some other house or have a collection of cars.. make them spend money in the economy, Food and water is free if you're a police officer again it's a nice little thing but like for a faction that just prints money what is it a big deal to charge them for some food and water...

I think we should look at having any wars on Zancudo, This would limit the police hovering over fights randomly flying by, or patrolling the same four block radius for three days. obvs make it Not the whole area is conflict zone but maybe patches that are in the camps, Have clear and distinct rules around playing the edge of a conflict zone and circle. Maybe Atms and banks a thing but maybe that's where the POI is. I 100% agree with what Carl has said It is unfair and mathematically impossible some gangs to win

So my thought is come up with a way to allow players to pay for stamps? or to pay to bail their friends out of prison with money! Like in the real world you can bail your friend out. I think some people that get caught up in situations that dont go in their favor and end up getting 1-3 hours in DOC with nobody around to assist them like FM, being stuck there is terrible an Ruins meaningful role play. I think the maximum time in DOC should be an hour but that's a whole other discussion, If you don't have VIP the 1-3 hours is brutal especially if the spawn rates aren't there for garbage and laundry due to them just being farmed. We are on such a positive note of change and a great direction for the server, I think this should be considered for the new prison system being developed. Anyone who has spent over an hour in DOC can tell you it kills all Ruins meaningful rewarding role play

i have 0 problems with the current car balance, just because someone owns a fast car doesn't mean they know how drive it. no issues when leo had a niobe also, lfm and the police staff have policies in place to mitigate any OP issues with cars. it only makes sense if they are chasing a niobe or omaggio using a high speed vehicle and chopper makes complete sense
