15. Player Theft, Prison Breakout, and Kidnapping Discussion
Oli replied to MrUntouchable215's topic in Archive
+1, needs a change ASAP before crim RP dies completely, I've personally seen around 10 people who went LOA for the fact that there's nothing to do but cooking all day which is kinda boring unless you're hard grinding. This is exactly what should happen. If a criminal is dressed up in gang colours, he should not be expecting protection everywhere. Everything used to be IC and running smooth, except for the random unprovoked robberies that can be dealt with in another way than a crim vs crim RP. Politics was always a big part of crim RP and now with such OOC restrictions, IC politics are not needed at all as other crims know they're safe as long as they run away to a public place. -

Jacob Ellis After the open season was announced, Misfits were targeted all over the city, yellow must die. Misfits kept fighting day after another, winning some fights but losing the majority due to how fierce and strong the council was. It was looking bad for Misfits, losing numbers each day, even some of the highcommand were lost, no longer being seen and no idea of their whereabouts. The day came, Misfits were over, agreed by the rest of the highcommand for the sake of everybodies' lives. Word spread fast and the council heard the news. Everyone felt safe after doing so, dropping colours and minding our own business and suddenly, we get the shocking news, another one of us was killed. The council put out hits on various high command and to no surprise, Jacob was amongst the names mentioned. Jacob had to act fast and smart, hiding some where safe, he started texting all ex-Misfits, letting them know of the news and the hits. After a short while, Jacob got some texts back, saying that most of them were safe from the hits and that other was already killed or hiding aswell. Jacob was running out of time, knowing that half of the city is looking for him and that he cant hide forever. Karma finally got him, what goes around comes around, one day he was the executioner, now he's the victim. A second chance Admitting defeat, Jacob started drinking all the alcohol he had stashed, snorting lines of coke, hoping that will kill him before the shot comes. Its midnight, door knockin, someone shouting his name from outside. Jacob smiled whispering to himself, "finally". Thinking his life was coming to an end in 10 seconds, Jacob closed his eyes, remembering all his beloved ones when he was suddenly slapped. It wasnt the executioner but instead it was Javi, Javier Torrero. Javier was a Misfit who was safe from the hits, he offered that Jacob joins his family, abandoning his old life, maybe then he'll be safe. Knowing this was the only way out, Jacob agreed and started contacting one of the government who owed him big time, explained he needed a new identity card and that Jacob Ellis must die. A deal was made and after a few days, a meeting was held where Jacob received his new identity papers and after a long visit to the MD, Jacob Torrero was born. Old friends Jacob needed to find a new home to help hide his new identity, he was quick to contact Monte, he quickly explained the situation and that he needed help. Monte asked him to come to church, undercover and making sure that he was not followed. Jacob started making his way to church with Javier in the passenger seat, when he arrived, he was brought inside and welcomed by NLA's highcommand. They understood his situation and without hesitance, they were quick to bring him vato clothes and announced him a new fish for the familia. Safe To this day, Jacob Torrero is safe, serving the familia. P.S: many parts of this story is purely made up to fit the story of the name change.

We been enemies and we been allies and during both times, I had mad respect for you guys the whole time. Super sad seeing such a great faction disband but I'm sure you have your own reasons. Good luck with future endeavors!

Jacob Torrero The Arrival Around 5 months ago, Jacob was approached by a friend of his back where he used to live with an offer he couldnt refuse, a cheap illegal flight to Los Santos, where dreams happen. It wasnt something Jacob thought about alot as such chances only come once in a lifetime and so he got himself ready, said good bye to his beloved ones, promising to come back, eventually. Valors Not long after arrival, Jacob Ellis was approached by a gang called the Valors. Already having the thought of starting his own gang or rolling with another gang, Jacob agreed to join them. Valors were against how the Council ruled Los Santos and paying taxes wasnt really what Valors had in mind, that led to them joining forces with other gangs who had the same mindset against the Council and their ruling. The council being the strongest union Los Santos ever witnessed was quick to wipe Valors and all the other gangs that dare defy them. That put an end to Valors and left Jacob a lone wolf as he used to be. The Misfits After a while, Jacob Ellis had a talk with some of his friends about starting their own gang, a fresh start for Jacob where highcommand decided going against the Council wasnt the brightest of ideas. Time passed and Misfits kept getting stronger and stronger, gaining respect day by day, fighting wars *and* retreating from wars they knew they were not capable of fighting due to them still being new in the city, trying to get their crew to live and fight another day. Everything was good, moving forward towards their goal day by day. Until the day has come, the day that would put Los Santos in constant chaos and fear. A meeting was called for where all high command from each gang was demanded to attend, where all rules we used to know were now gone, there are new rules. Neutrality wasnt earned by paying taxes anymore, it was paid by showing the council you deserved it, respect must be earned. Not long after, most of the highcommand started disappearing, one by one, not knowing if they were kidnapped or even killed, it was left in the hands of Jacob and 2 more to lead the Misfits through this war. With nothing going to plan, a meeting with held with the rest of the highcommand where it was agreed that Misfits should not be around any more, for the sake of everyone's safety and to remember the fallen, the decision was final. The Misfits were no more. Novo Los Aztecas With the end of Misfits, Jacob was devastated and lost with no where to go. While chilling at bank, he met a friend of his, a highcommand Capitan in NLA, known as Monte. With the news spread all over the city, Monte knew Jacob wasnt a part of a gang anymore, they agreed that Jacob should chill with the familia for some time. Given the fact that Misfits and NLA were always good friends, it wasnt hard for Jacob to get used to his new vatos. It wasnt long till Jacob Torrero was a part of the familia's new fish. The split After NLA were finally recognized by the government, a long-term goal that was finally achieved, some of the highcommand who werent even there for most of the time didnt feel satisfied with how the TRUE highcommand ruled NLA. They had demands, a certain way of living that they wanted the rest of us to live, whether they liked it or not. To which Carlos and everyone who followed him stood ground and refused to let such people decide how things were going to be for NLA. They were offered peace, to leave and never come back to the familia but their ego was too high. They wanted war, and that's exactly what they got. Aztecas was quick to get ready for this war, quickly wiping all the fakes. Los Aztecas After coming out victorious from this war, it was time for the Aztecas to go back to church and chill. After drinking some tequilas enjoying ourselves, Jacob Torrero was requested to a private room where only El J'efe, Alicia and Cheapo were there and he was promoted, after 3 months of hard work, reminding him that his hard work was appreciated and was never forgotten. It was then when Jacob got his first and second cuts, skipping Guerilla and becoming a Soldado straight away. 1 week later, a promotion ceremony was held at church and a lot of people were promoted, new Guerillas and Soldados were assigned, along with new fish that were given the chance of joining our familia. The last name was a surprise, he even asked, who? As he was not sure if he heard correctly. It was shocking for Jacob to know that he himself was one of the people who were getting promoted that day as he was just promoted not too long ago. Jacob felt appreciated more than ever, getting his third cut and becoming an Asesino for the familia. Only time will tell how this chapter ends for Jacob Torrero, may it never end! I totally agree with what you've said. IC actions have IC consequences, if a faction makes an IC action towards another faction that would realistically cause an immediate consequence for example starting a war, so be it. Wars are IC and always have been, gangs disbanded because of it and others thrived because of it and the outcome of these wars is totally IC aswell, whether money is demanded from the losing side or whatever. Being one of Misfits' HC back when they existed, this is what we were told when we were being wiped by the council, it was for IC reasons. And if we wanted it solved, there was IC ways to do so, not OOC. So I dont get why its all turning OOC now all of a sudden? Regarding WK, we're crims cuz we love crim rp, how else are we supposed to enjoy playing the game if we're not allowed to hang out/communicate/help our faction during wars and even normal times when we're just vibin chillin at HQ because of an OOC restriction?

Selling a 1G at pink cage for 200k, let me know if you're interested.

Completely IC. If I wanna rep my gang's colours I'll do so and face the circumstances, its not FearRP, you trying to say its not realistic is just completely wrong in so many different ways. Many gangs that operate IRL use colour codes in both their outfits and vehicles. Regarding your FearRP claim, try going into a drug lab as a Zeta/Triad/WCA/Aztecas and then try going without being affiliated to any of them and see the difference. If you dont rep colours, you'll get robbed by colours, end of story.

Like the idea and lore, good luck!

+1, it doesnt make sense buying a suit jacket and then find out i cant put any shirt underneath it. Also more undershirts would be nice.

Jacob Ellis With the end of Misfits, Jacob was devastated and lost with no where to go. Spending his last moments in Misfits' colours, he was approached by Monte who had already heard the sad news. They had a good long conversation about Jacob's future plans in the city as now he doesn't have any, leaving Jacob with some ideas in mind. One of them being that Jacob should start hanging around with NLA as Misfits and NLA were always on good terms and considered each others more than family. After spending some time together, Jacob informed Monte and NLA's high command that he's interested in joining in and becoming a part of the familia. And this was the beginning of the new chapter in Jacob's life. Jacob felt alive again being surrounded by his loco vatos and vatas who were always ready to have each others' backs whenever the time was needed, and so the journey begun. A month later, NLA were approached by an anonymous supplier who was ready to supply them with all the guns they need, making this a huge step that NLA have been aiming for for quite some time as this will help establish more goals. Everyone was excited hearing the good news during a familia meeting in the church but with power comes responsibility. The high command enforced new rules to match the new perk and avoid trouble and everything was set. Only time will tell how this chapter ends for Jacob, may it never end! ORALE!!!

Never saw law enforcement actually investigate cases after a shootout, so why would we (crims) take a step that would cost us a good 15mins minimum to hide something that would in no way backfire at us? EDIT: It can be 2k, it can be whatever. In my opinion it just adds good quality RP if you get pulled over by a cop and he goes like "/me gets closer to the trunk. /do would i smell anything unusual?" so it will add more RP to both sides, its not only about crims getting more money.
-
How is it money farm when its hard to do and takes a high risk and a good amount of time? Its the same as every other method of making money in the game. It doesnt have to be "dissolving" it can be as you said, harvesting body organs out of the body. However, how would this be any different than dissolving when it comes to being called "money farming"? And how would that encourage nonRP shootouts or murder? People who RP crims will still rob and kill for the same reasons, no one will be encouraged to kill just because such a method of making money is now offered, it is just an addition to overall RP (both crim and law enforcement). Non crim players wont start being crims or start "nonRP shootouts or murder" just because they can get 5k after having to go through the risk of getting killed and losing stuff that's worth over 10k.
-
Just dissolves the whole body and gives you cash. However, your idea sounds really good too if we can put more RP to what we do with the organs after the process is done with
-
Maybe it should only work for bodies that were not gutted, for when you dont have a knife or you just want more money than selling human meat. It'll also add more RP to LEOs (Law enforcement officers) as they can catch you with a body that would make your car smell bad if you get pulled over for any other reason.
-
Just like chopping cars, why don't we dissolve dead bodies? (creepy, right?) A lot of shootouts happen where 2 parties engage with each other, continuous pew pew and one side wins. Winners loot and dip like nothing happened but what if we can add more RP to it? Example: Zetas are at war with Rooks, 2 Zetas are chasing 1 Rook and they end up killing him. Rest of the Rooks already know what happened cuz he already called he was being chased or he just went radio silent, should that be it? No! The Zetas thought of making some extra easy money so they take the dead body to Humane Lab to dissolve the body and get paid but the Rooks jumps them and get revenge for their fallen ally. Since it takes time to actually dissolve a dead body, the process will take 8mins (like chopping) and gives you a solid 5k for each dead body you dissolve. Location: Humane Lab, more TBD Give a +1 if you like the idea and if you have any additions or no-no please, let everyone know

Police vehicles cant climb hills? I drove my brawler up mountain chili and had 4 SD cruisers on me the whole time, what are you talking about? You have xrays, you use your own vehicles, drags and kamachos and you can get 20 ppl in a chase and you're actually speaking about limiting crims NRP?
