I mean a similar use of the logic would be to RPly wrap a shotgun in black plastic bin bags. Officers: get down on your knees, and place your hands in the air Person with ambiguous shaped bin bag stick on his back: /b (( lul it’s wrapped in bin bags and wouldn’t be visible I have proof. What’s your discord? )) *hits enter* *presses t* What’s wrong officer? I’m just taking my bin bags for a walk... *Files IA report* I can’t react to my own post so I’ll put it here: FeelsChromosomeMan

I was pulled over for speeding by an officer, the fine was only $1000 dollars. I had a great time and so did he. As far as the scenario went it took approximately 30 minutes from start to finish, and it was one of the highlights of my week. I think allowing officers to accept mobile payments would be a good idea and having a /acceptticketpayment command would fix people nonrply spamming the command at them, and allow the officers to ask for ID prior to the Payments going through.

Good idea, would be nice to see the price in the text window upon entry as well as above the vehicle. +1

RPing hiding a weapon which is intentionally scripted to show and be visible, in my opinion is borderline Power Gaming. As is the use of ‘ it could be a water pistol/ Airsoft gun / paintball gun.’ And having to slow down RP to send screenshots etc only slows down active Roleplay in general. There is a simple solution, and that is to accept that if a weapon can be seen on your person, then treat it as such. If you choose to keep it in a bag or briefcase, and accept that you will have to take extra steps in order for it to be equipped, then we can streamline RP for everyone and move on with our days on a level playing field in this instance.

Agreed, I would also like to see build zones set by each door that grants access to a property I know of some which share the build limit with adjoining houses, which has led to confusion for people who sell and purchase properties due to the neighbour already building an external garage and reach the building cap which accounts for both houses in one

On the topic of bearing arms, in the state of LS a firearms license is a privilege, and not a right. Committing a crime and being caught in the act of doing it results in removal of you license. Now I’m not suggesting that all of PD maintains a professional and responsible course of action when managing and handling charges. There are people who RP officers responsibly. There are also those who do not. The IA system has always been a contentious issue, and faith in it even on a OOC level by and large is at a minimum from my experiences and perspective. I believe this stems from the large amount of time it takes and the difficult task the PD faces in finding the quality and quantity of staff to handle the volume of IA reports that come in. Having said that there are two ways of addressing this. Firstly is to maintain and monitor the behaviour of officers more rigorously, by making them aware that punishments will not be handed out softly for misconduct and secondly by continuing to try and recruit people who can be trusted to handle the IA reports correctly and efficiently in the quantity required. Having said all of that this topic is becoming a little derailed. Can we try and keep it focussed on the original point rather than honing in too much.

++1 some awesome creative ideas and as stated above it would be fantastic if we could hear some feedback from the members of the development team on the practicality of these suggestions

+1 I think this is a great idea, perhaps the drop off zones could be randomised to a set pool of locations that fit in with the theme of the job, similar to the postal delivery job. I would love to see more ways for criminals to develop their income through scenarios that offer them the chance for exciting encounters : )

What better way to prevent people from committing crimes than by offering them the opportunity to spend their time working a legitimate job. None of our employees are anything but professional whilst on duty, and we actively maintain & monitor those standards. We regularly conduct full roster record checks, and if we find that an employee has committed any felony above that of reckless driving then they are removed from the company. I ask you though, do you think a violent criminals time outside of prison is best spent idle, or helping to work towards reform. For every reformed member of society working on the clock, it is one less person the police have to worry about arresting. If you have different views that is up to you, but that is my stance, and I will stand by it.

Hello, my name is Charlie, Charlie Nightingale. I'm currently the acting General Manager of Bayview. Chances are I've worked on vehicles for you, answered any questions you might have about the city or your cars, or even helped you to purchase your first vehicle in town. I'm writing this letter to all of you to state publicly that I have applied for the Ownership role which became vacant at the place I call home. Bayview has been my place of work since i came to the city a long time ago, and I am proud to be a part of the extended family of mechanics who work there. The company functions from the core values and principles that make us unique - the most important being that we don't just bring customers in to provide the bare basics of the service. Our customers come to us for the experience, the friendships, and the non-judgmental atmosphere we provide. No matter how you choose to live your life we will always offer you the mutual respect you deserve. It is my intention to maintain that standard for all of you whenever you visit Bayview if I am successful in my ownership application. I will continue to maintain my presence amongst the other mechanics on the shop floor too. A leader does not sit idle whilst their team works for them, a leader should be right there alongside the team in a capacity that can be continuously relied on. I will continue to work with you all, welcoming you to the shop, and servicing your vehicles to the standards you have come to expect from myself and the rest of the team. I intend to see Bayview carry on in the way we have been, I don't want to see the shop in the state is has been in the past where we are only open for six hours in a week, I want you, our customers, our friends, to know we will be there for you. We will continue to treat you with the decency and respect you deserve, and I believe as Owner I can ensure this. It would be a sad day to see someone who is unfamiliar with our mode of operations, and our values taking on the role. The last thing i want is for Bayview to be shaken up into a place people do not want to work, and a place where people don't want to go. As customers you take the time to make the extra journey to us, and for that I and the whole team are eternally grateful. You allow us to continue the work we love to do. In this time, I have one thing to ask, and that is for your support in my application for ownership. I want to ensure that the Bayview you currently know, continues to improve and meet your expectations while retaining the charm and character we have established for the shop. As always if you have any questions, or would like to know any more about me, please feel free to come by Bayview and I'll be happy to talk. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Kind Regards, Charlie Nightingale.

Might not be taken lightly by PD, but it's definitely something taken lightly by individuals.. the rampant tracing of phones has long been abused by certain detctives..
-
Rather than credits, can we make it a money sink? it will aide in combatting inflation, and prevent a OOC paywall to people who can't afford it IRL.
-
Not gonna lie, cops using super cars like that is shocking, when i first saw the title to the post i was going to -1 it, but seeing that video leaves me genuinely suprised.... in the name of realism... why on earth is that allowed???
-
Wanna lower your prison time yourself? either go mining or play poker. Currently there are two options available, In time i wouldnt be suprised if there are even more implemented. Point is, you are not toally powerless to reduce your sentences.

17 hours ago, NBDY said: Added ability to exchange prison currency for lower prison sentence ^ also, there is this option.

Is literally everyone over looking this addition?
