  1. "we cant have nice things because people will ruin it" 10/10 logic. I dont know if this is possible, but maybe a good compromise would be to have a scripted weapon (probably a rifle) similar to a musket, shoot once, reload. with low damage, yet just enough to kill the NPC animals. This way it is very unlikely people will use it in PvP situations as bolt action are a big disadvantage to have due to its down time, and especially its low damage in this case. not sure if im +1/-1. just thinking of an alternative than knives and pistols to kill cows and boars.
  2. +1, this would also reduce the lag on the server from so many cars being out at once. i remember when the admins deleted the cars at weazel,bv,lsc and DOC when the server was lagging alot, the difference was massive. i think this is a good solution.
  3. Welcome back boys, i look forwards to see what the future brings
  4. Lit streets? My dude. People get robbed in broad daylight in front of Mors and parking, both of which are really close to PD. What @A N G E L said is a completely valid concern, and one that i also have when i need to log off. "do i log off at bank w/ my vehicle parked here with a chance of getting it towed but i can log instantly or take 15mins to drive home with a chance that further RP happens and then at that point i CANT log off or its combat logging/nrp/Etc. and i can face admin punishments". The former being the very clear option here. Lets take your example though. I'm at bank and need to go home, lets say we're in a small gang. 5 people online, closest which is in sandy shores because they're all hitting labs. Now time to call Billy Bob to escort me to my house in case anyone tries to rob me on my way there... Ok sure! 10minutes for him to come to bank, another 10 to drive to the house and log off. Now... Do i do that? or log off at bank and not care about those at bank seeing the "player X has disconnected". I don't know about you, but im most definitely picking the latter.
  5. this seems like a better solution, and ensures every change to the locations are admin approved +1
  6. -1. Logging off wherever is convenient when you dont dedicate your entire life to ECRP. Some people wana get a couple of minutes interaction here and there before going to school, work, or whatever else. i see where you are coming from OP however in any situation: IRL>ECRP. I will not prioritise spending 5-15mins driving back to my house to park so that the people at bank, bayview, whatever dont have to see "Player 44 disconnected". This is a thing you should learn to ignore. there are far more "poor rp" things that should be prioritised over not driving home to log off.
  7. I think it could be cool if legal faction leaders would be able to build on their businesses property. I'm specifically thinking of bayview and LSC since they can tend to be spots where people hang out and it would be fun for the owner to be able to place chairs, or any other kind of furniture. This shouldn't only be limited to BV and LSC, just the 2 examples i came up with. They owners are trusted with leading the legal factions, so I do not see any reason why they also can't be trusted to place furniture appropriately and not abuse it. I think this could be a great feature if it is added! Edit: I am not sure if they currently can, but the lack of customization at the legal faction locations make me think it's not currently allowed.
  8. I wasn't aware of this. This is good information to know when making a decision this big.
  9. Gotta love logging on to see 10 "Hey, you in town" messages. +1 to this suggestion. this would be an amazing but simple quality of life addition.
  10. +1, when i first broke out of prison i was surprised my charges werent added back. it didnt seem right. Maybe an in-between to what @Tomvd682 and @alexalex303 said could be the most reasonable solution? Proposal: You go to prison, pay your fines, and do the time. When you are broken out the script removes the charges you served time for (Wouldn't round up. You must serve the entire time of a charge for it to be removed by the script) so once you inevitably go back to prison you aren't waiting twice on the same crime. Also to add to this, maybe the script should only charge once. The first time you go to jail, once you break out and go back in jail, you do not re-pay for that fine? Not sure how this would be implemented, or if its even possible. but seems like the best "meet in the middle" Scenario i can think of
  11. agree with Alex here. Ninja looting rules were a thing way back, but they got removed for a reason. This would just add another way to stall RP until back up arrives or have ooc fights like the quoted comment above. When you get blasted with a shotgun 3x, sorry my man but you are in no state to resist a frisk and people taking your items.
  12. my bad, misinterpreted your comment. Thought you were proposing to make all other store without frequent rp at them (i.e zetas, triads) NPC stores and remove the ability for a player to own it.
  13. Except once a feature is put in and people are invested in it, it makes it even more difficult to remove. Owners have invested time and money into these stores, i doubt any of them want to give that up. Even if a buyout was offered.
  14. +1 to this definitely. Or else the same will continue to happen, the most rich will swoop in and buy the locations and add even further to their monopoly over the city, j think it would be more interesting to allow a wider range of people to own the buisinesses
  15. I agree with everything but this small part, having the elegy retro as the benchmark for speed would mean all future cars wouldn't be great on the highway, much less than current options such as the massacro. There should for sure be new cars added, but allow for some variety in speed and agility, some cars are just better on the highway and if you reduce their speed to the elegy retro which isn't good on the highway, it reduces that car's utility. The speed should be capped so you don't get insane numbers like 250kph+,just maybe higher than the elegy R. +1overall, looking forwards to new cars.
  16. +1, i know damn well when I'm in paleto and can't get out a city bee that no taxi drivers are coming to me unless they happen to be in the area since most of their calls are from within the city. Let me take a city bee back.
  17. The fuck did I just read
  18. Sounds borderline p2w, but I guess the same can be said about the Sultan rs, and other credit vehicles. For those who aren't aware, the 'bug' with the comet retro is the same one that allows the gargoyle to do 275+kph while popping a wheelie. Only downside is no passenger, but no worries, there's a bug for that too! Sometimes the gargoyle spawns as a comet retro for others, and they can get on/in it as a passenger!
  19. +1, there is no animation for it. It should be an AME similar to PD/MD's panic button. Otherwise on the other player's end they can have 1-9 keybound to different frequencies and change between them 2 feet away from you which you should be able to notice RPly. I think the ame should say "Reaches for their radio and changes frequency" or something along those lines, it shouldnt say the frequency they change to.
  20. Exactly. 50 heavy pistol rounds wont weigh 15 LBS/kg/volume. All of the volume system with the new storage needs to be tested and re evaluated. you should be able to fit more than 2 aks w/ ammo in a bag before you can no longer carry it on yourself.
  21. +1 obviously. suggestions similar to this one nearly a year old, all with very positive feedback, and never a single word given from the developers if this will be added. Can we get an answer? Save future suggestions from being made and no longer give people false hope its something that might eventually be implemented if it won't be. It's just annoying at this point...
