  1. What? you dont wana pay 180k for a shitty jamestown appartment? Obvious massive +1. these current house prices are crazy, not touching houses until new ones are introduced.
  2. Alright this is a solid counter argument, fair enough. What are your thoughts on the second part of this suggestion however?
  3. @Jbacon i disagree with none of this. But this thread is about faction vehicles as it is thing that happens on a daily basis that ruins RP. Should prison be improved? yeah, sure. But this suggestion is to get faction vehicles to remain when the person takes another one out or goes off duty as it really ruins the immersion and RP the criminal is doing to just have it Poof out of nowhere to respawn back at the worker's location because he went off duty or spawned another one in.
  4. Because tequila is a claustrophobic tiny crappy bar with little to no room to hang out, pier is a large open space with many activities (if implemented as OP said) and a beautiful view. Not some raunchy bar but a beautiful scenery.
  5. another bank is just another NCZ without anything to do, this suggestion would make an NCZ with activities for others to enjoy themselves and hang out at.I dont see how the solution to people sitting at bank having nothing to do is to add another NCZ which is a bank where people have nothing to do.
  6. +1 bank as a hang out area is common, but fairly boring. This will allow for activities, gambling, and a hotspot for people to interact and hang out in a safe way because of the NCZ. This would be fucking awesome, 10/10.
  7. Non-faction RPers deal with this daily, these rule breaking exceptions should not be used as an example for a counterargument to a very poor RP script regarding faction vehicles. The fact faction vehicles disappear severely stunts the RP on the side of the criminal. I would suggest you take your own advice if you get DMed and: As for this, i am not opposed to these suggestions regarding prison time, but just not yet. 2hours is a very long time to spend not doing anything. This is why the prison has been dubbed 'AFK simulator' by most people, go in and go outside, watch tv/youtube/netflix. Basically anything other than play on the server. I am not opposed to longer sentences, i think it would make criminals think harder about an action before performing it (i.e robberies in broad daylight, chopping with a PD situation within the area, etc.etc.). I do think that before any change to the amount of time is implemented, there should be a revamp to the entire prison RP structure, add stuff for us to do. There have been numerous suggestions to this subject such as adding functioning pool tables or other games, able to work off your time, add a prison economy (shivs, cigarettes, food,etc.). Changing the max sentence from 2 hours to lets say (random number) 6hours currently would not improve any sort of rp, it would just make a criminal AFK in the prison for that lenght of time, leave their PC on when they go to bed. This is a good suggestion you added, i just dont think it should be added with how the prison system is currently.
  8. +1, i believe this could add to much greater RP to legal interactions, but especially illegal. Wire transferring in exchange for a hostage, weapons, compensation, drugs, bribes etc.
  9. It would be awesome if the contact list on your phone could be improved to a similar was as to how they are IRL. I have personally resolved to saving 1 text from the people i text the most in the 'messages' tab and always reply to that rather than going into my contacts. Adding a search function would make it much easier to find who you are looking for and save time. Or at the very least have them sort alphabetically so you can use prefixes such as "PD-[name]" or "Guns-[name]" to make it much easier to sort through which contacts you have instead of aimlessly wandering in your contact list back and forth forgetting what position they were in on your list.
  10. The XP requirement of new players should be increased abit in my opinion considering you can get rid of it pretty rapidly with still little to know knowledge of how the city works, Gans vs legal, etc. However, with this I also propose a second suggestion and the main reason for this post: If new players are actively participating in an illegal activity, remove their ((New Player)) immunity, allow others to rob them.(Cooking at labs, chopping, hitting stores, etc.). I cannot tell you the amount of times I roll up on people doing a big Cook or hitting stores and they're either all new players and all we can do is 'shoo' them out, or they're a mix of new player and regular, in which case most of the time the normal players use the new player as their stash because they cannot be robbed according to the rules. This rule is abused way too much on the illegal side of things in my opinion. Magical barrier stopping you from getting 50x of each drug on the man because he's a new player. This would also lead to civilian RP being more viable as it would extend your protection from being robbed until you are more settled in the city and have a better idea of how things work.
  11. -1, robbing farmers is fucked up. But I do not think it should be fixed with a NCZ
  12. +1 gives Jax more options for E R P
  13. -1, fines are ok how they are currently and the prison sentence is AFK time.there is little to no prison RP

This is going to sound rude, but i don't know how else to say it. It sounds like you are requesting a crutch to get somewhere or reach a status faster than others had to in the past and with less work than they put in. The 3 factions you mentioned worked their ass off over a very long period of time to get to where they are both icly and oocly. It seems like you are just asking for a shortcut there, not to have to do as much work to earn the status and respect ICly. There is such a thing as merging.

-1 in my eyes currently, this seems like an IC issue that shouldn't be screwed with OOCly. The established factions and their members have known each other, built and solidified their friendship (or enmity) over months and years both IC and OOC. For these IC relationships and allies to be forced to stop because some guys who are relatively new to the server don't like what is happening to them is not a valid reason in my opinion. This hits it right on the fucking nail. Every gang who wants to be something has to go through the dirt, and go against or prove themselves to the established gangs. This should not be solved OOC as this is an entirely IC issue. There has been too much invested in these relationships of the factions over very long periods of time for it to be changed OOCly because new up and coming gangs find it not to their liking that they are getting robbed and killed because their IC actions have consequences for better or worse. This should be an IC issue, going to talk to the gangs figure out if there's any form of compromise you can reach, payment to stop the battle, get creative. If there isn't? Keep it IC, no reason to take it OOC. What is currently happening with saints or whatever other gang has happened before, and will continue to happen in the future.
  16. No, no it isnt. This is an OOC issue. The equivalent to what you are talking about is if i parked my car on the side of the road IC and ran into nature ICly and then it got stolen. +1 OP
  17. @Jbacon Now THIS is the realism you speak of, truly fantastic.
  18. Will Nandos be catering this event?
  19. Alright, i can see where you are coming from thank you for elaborating on your point. What you said earlier now makes more sense to me.
  20. Thank you sir! Quality contribution to the conversation
  21. How would this in any way be realistic? You might as well add a button of 'auto balancing' like some FPS games have and make sure all gangs have even numbers at that point. This is not how IRL or IG should work. Some larger, more established and organised gangs will have the numbers, advantage on strategy, weapons, etc. This is how it works. Artificially stunting it so low-level MCs and gangs would have a more 'fair' playing field would not be healthy for any of the factions. Organisations who have been in a location for a much longer period of time will have more members, resources, and access to certain things. Changing it because people are trying to make their own group and realize how difficult it might be to grow to that established faction's level would once again, not be a good idea in my opinion. Also, how would you expect to enforce this? all being in a faction gets you is /F (faction chat) and the ability to do imports of which only certain ranks can do within the faction. If there is indeed a "limit" on how many people could be in your faction, what is stopping factions from getting their core group in /f (higher ups, those who are trusted and have been there a long time) and then for the rest of the people just give them the frequency and the end result would be exactly what it is now. i am all sorts of confused by what you mean in this statement, care to clarify?
  22. IRL prices of black market weapons are much higher than their import value. that is how money is made. There is a reason i separated those 2 points. The first is going under the assumption they would adjust the pool of weapons and ammo to the large influx of people who would have access to it under your suggestion and why it would be a bad idea. The second is explaining how without any form of adjustments it would also be a bad idea. Your main issue in this post is with the heavies people run around with. In your original post you make it seem like if only you [smaller gangs] had heavies it would make everything better. however this will not be fixed with any gang being allowed to import given they meet a roster number, this will only make it worse. More people will have heavies and run around robbing everybody with them. Your suggestion goes against your own suggestion, you realize that right? You bring up some decent points on the topics that are not heavy-related but as i said before i think that this is not an issue that would be fixed by allowing more people to have heavies and ammo, but instead maybe a thing the community could improve together as a whole. Just my .02
  23. Fat +1 to this "Hey, there are sketchy guys outside that store, let me go in to buy stuff, WHATTT? I GOT ROBBED?" Not saying this is every situation, but many can be somewhat prevented. This is something that should be reported as RPly you wouldnt hear it from that far away at that speed. Forgot to mention this in my original reply, but probably the biggest reason to -1 is this statement right here. The only IC pro to being a faction is imports. With nearly every gang having access to imports (which you suggested with the 15-20player auto-faction) everyone will be running around with AKs and hrobbing everyone else. Currently there is RP to be done if you are looking to obtain weapons, not every gang is self sufficient. Not to forget imports on the back end are shared between the official factions, if you now have lets say, 15 gangs instead 5 for a pool of ammo and weapons will mean that most likely all the 'factions' will order when 10ammo is up to get whatever they can manage, fucking up the entire ammo and weapon economy on the server.
  24. there is a difference between a luxury item, and an item that is for all intents and purposes absolutely fucking useless and unjustifiable of the price. As many mentioned the armor gets removed from most (if not all?) Types of damage, and with the massive desync issues it is not too difficult to lose your armor from just driving around. 40k for 25 armor is not worth the price in any measurable sense. Also to repeat the fact that PD has literally no form of economy to their expenses makes it so they get an endless supply and have not to care about their budget (which is unrealistic, obviously). Also as @PennyWise13x said. 40k is alot of money just to be able to eat 2-4more pistol bullets. +1 to this suggestion once again, as vest prices are in no way worth it. the only vest imports i have heard of were on the first 1-3days. since then, few if any have ordered them due to their cost vs utility.
  25. I am enjoying my "comfy advantage" as you would put it, but i also think there is an RP reason for factions to have admin approval, it shows that they have reached a certain 'status' within the city. The only advantage that a faction has ICly is imports. Allowing anyone to make a faction that could reach this status just by recruiting enough people would diminish the RP in my opinion. Currently the smaller groups, MCs, or other gangs have to contact other people to obtain heavy weapons as they do not have the 'connections' to get these themselves. This creates more interaction on the illegal side between players who want to obtain weapons and those looking to sell. Allowing anyone to be an official faction by reaching 15 members would remove most of this RP. (i also believe that the faction being admin approved is a sort of "check" to see if the faction is capable of doing quality rp such as the one seen on many faction threads)
