Buk Rivera
Finding your place in Los Santos

Buk came to Los Santos with a troubled past full of crimes, having traveled the world doing various crimes, having to move very often due to finding himself in to much trouble seemingly every time he arrived in a new place.
The life of a criminal was something Buk never seemed to be able to get away from so at this point in his life when arriving to Los Santos it was something he had accepted as that was who he was, a criminal  from top to bottom.
During his early days in Los Santos he meet an old friend he got to know during his travels to Hong Kong called Hideki Takashi. Hideki having arrived a few weeks before Buk had gotten to know the city decently at this point and showed Buk around, Buk bought his first car of Hideki a warrener for a very good price, Hideki wanted to help Buk out and told him a car would make making money a lot easier for him. During his early days in the city Buk and Hideki would work at pauls farm aswell as driving the money truck, they would also fish and catch any trucking order that would come up. One day as Buk woke up and was driving around in the city he got a call from Hideki to come to the tollbooth. Upon arriving to the tollbooth he met Mike for the first time, Buk and Mike started talking and got to know each other.

Buk_Lee_n_Mike_Hardy.thumb.png.f6d7d15b12fd7cda72a4231547505304.png
Buk liked the tollbooth because of all the people that would hang out there and quickly found himself working there every day, though at night time he would be back to his old habits and go around San Andreas looking for cars and bikes to steal to sell to the local chop shops.
Working the tollbooth Buk got to know a lot of people and one of them was Vlad. Buk and Vlad would get along pretty much straight away and would hang out at the tolls with each other a lot, Vlad was apart of The Reapers at the time and Buk was looking for a gang to join so he started talking to Vlad about it and before he knew it he was in.
Buk's stint in The Reapers would prove to be short though and would find himself leaving after 2 weeks just a day before The Reapers disbanded.
Although his journey in The Reapers was short he still learned a lot and got a taste of what gang life was like in Los Santos and made some new friends, friends that he still talks to to this day.

Buk would spend the following weeks and months focusing on himself and making money, doing anything from working the tollbooth, fishing and mining to stealing cars and robbing people.

0vrernI.png
One day while working the tollbooth a friend of his was talking about a gang he was making, his plan was to bring back the gang called Los Atlas, Buk liked what he heard and asked if he could be apart of Los Atlas, after a discussion about Buk previous experience aswell as what kind of assets he had, he was welcomed into Atlas as one of the very first members.
Buk's time through Atlas would prove to be a difficult and proving journey, Atlas was plagued by problems from day one and seemed like it was bound to fail and break apart at any point, A lot of gang disliked them and was always looking for reasons to hit them but none the less Buk keep fighting and did not give up on Atlas. Atlas was not an easy time for Buk and at times he thought about leaving, but the thought of his friends in Atlas and not wanting to give up on it kept him fighting and sticking with it to the end.

And soon the end for Los Atlas came, after weeks of trying to keep the gang alive and making it work the day came where Atlas would be no more, he had seen people come and go during his time in Atlas but that did not make him give up until the day came where one of his closest friends in Atlas would leave, that same day Buk felt he could not be in Atlas anymore without this person and decided to leave, merely minutes after Buk leaving it was announced by the leader that Los Atlas had disbanded and was no more.

And so Buk went back to the solo life but he was till determined to find his place in Los Santos but before he did that he wanted to make sure he was financially stable and had a good armory. So Buk would spend his days on the pier fishing and making new friends and contacts. During this time he would buy a new bike aswell as guns and make a couple of 100ks before being happy with his financial status.

EsVbrnA.png
Fast forward a couple of weeks into the solo life Buk got tired of rolling alone and started missing having a place to call home, during a trip up north to Bayview Buk stumbled upon his old friend Mike, Mike was now in Azteca's and they started talking about if Buk should try to join Azteca's, Azteca's was always a gang Buk had looked up to in Los Santos from when he first heard about them and loved the idea of joining the Familia. a week went by and Buk called Mike to ask him how one would go about to join Azteca's, Mike told Buk that he needed to meet and talk to Alicia if he was to join Azteca's, so Buk and Mike meet up and went together in Mike's Kamacho to their head quarters in the city, there Buk talked to Alicia and answered all the questions she had for him, After the talk it was time for Buk to prove himself to the vatos, he worked tirelessly day and night helping them with the turfs and helping them fight and responding to backup calls aswell as trying to get to know all the vatos. When he wasn't with the vatos he would spend his time making money.

hl9yqRN.png
A few weeks went by and the day had finally came for Buk, He was hanging out at the vatos city head quarters at the time with Kevin Reyes, when Kevin said to him "It's time for you to see the secret club" so Buk hopped onto Kevin's bike and they drove away to the club, upon entering the club he was met by Alicia, Buk followed her to a room where a couple of other Azteca's was hanging out, they discussed somethings and after they were done Alicia told Buk and the others to go out to the dancefloor and bar area, it was there that Buk was given a chance to join the Familia, he gladly accepted and he felt home straight away, he had finally found his place in Los Santos.

Mi Familia Sobre Todos

"My Family Above All Else"

With the amount of PD interactions, the Aztecas movements were being tracked heavily by the PD forces of LSPD. It seemed everywhere they went, helicopters hovered above, and one by one the Vatos were being picked off by the federales. DOC became a hive of activity with various members of the Cartel being arrested and paraded around like trophies in cuffs. It broke the familia’s heart to watch their friends and families being locked away for so many years.

mX30TTm.png

Inside prison the vatos had a lot to offer and even began working on themselves with plenty of exercise and yoga activities, and even interacting with people who outside they would view as their enemy, why make time inside unpleasant. While serving some time alongside Alicia and Carlos, they discussed the past, how things are and where they hope to go.

Ricky had been a huge part of Aztecas lives since they first encountered each other and had help support them through everything thick and thin, and always with respect. He was someone who understood the world they lived in. As Ricky had done so much for them, they felt they could return the favour, and offered him a position within Aztecas, as an Officiales. When the guards came to let them know their release time was coming each one grinned with excitement.

They were excited to have him join with them and knew the value add that he would bring.

jliZkD5.png

The last couple of days, things had begun quietening down. Now was the time to focus on themselves and ensure that everyone was away of their expectations and requirements. The vatos voiced their concerns, the things that they thought were working and called out where they required training.

A high standard was expected from them, but they had the resources within their group already of those who were experienced and able to provide this.

R7Xf5s4.png

They grouped up and made their first moves across the city to begin what was required and expected of them.

0o0CAmx.png

Over the last couple of weeks, Yuki had reached out to Alicia talking about the lives they once had, an almost identical conversation that they had just had with Ricky a few weeks prior. Yuki had done a lot for them throughout her time in Triads and had taken her time to assess did she enjoy what Aztecas represented. Knowing that Lucy had joined only a short time before, she knew she would be surrounded by people she trusted and had the strength of a familia behind her.

Alicia made sure that everyone who was not involved in important activities came to the church where they caught up, recapped what had happened at the meeting before, and went through the initiation process that is expected. Once her nervousness was eased by the vatos, Yuki took the time to respond to each question and they listed out the skills she would be able to bring. Yuki was an established criminal within the city and having someone as seasoned as her would be nothing but an asset. Their familia was growing and getting stronger, but they never lost their primary objective - a place for people to feel safe, secure and at home with their familias.

cyzi6cT.png

xk7IpE6.png

Alicia send a message back to her connects in Mexico asking how things were going. The recent economic change had created a whole new line of business for them and she wanted a part of it. Alicia’s eyes glistened listening to the news, the way the trade was working but more importantly the money they were making. She jumped in a Kamacho next to Carlos and smiled

I have found us some new business...”

Prologue

dKFvmpj.png

Carla arrived at church with her Chino Custom and after some quick introductions she was asked to hop into Carlos' kamacho with the other trials. After driving to Paleto clothing Carla slipped on the grey Azteca flannel and the trademark blue skull mask for the first time.

eEvJh1g.png

The Aztecas regrouped at Church and Carla gleamed with joy as her close friends welcomed her into their group. Lowriders packed out the church parking lot as the gang loaded up and prepared for their tour, the Aztecas drove from Paleto Bay to Los Santos taking a lap of the city to clearly assert their presence.

The bodies of fallen enemies scattered Los Santos and as the their blood seeped into the earth our brave Aztecas grew ever closer. From battlefields to bank heists the Aztecas worked as a well-oiled machine while they created bonds to last a life-time.

Carla had decided to go off the radar as harassment from the Los Santos Police Department had forced her to leave Los Santos for some time. Upon her return she visited of the Department of Corrections many times to uncover potential smuggling routes to her incarcerated allies.

Chapter A

Carla met up with Alicia at [REDACTED LOCATION] to discuss some future business ventures for the Aztecas.

D0EcHct.png

Inside the location was three pounds of Marijuana that Carla had been growing called Northern Lights. Alicia reached up to the drying buds to admire the aroma, Carla began describing her idea for [REDACTED] with Alicia.

They shared ideas before hearing the turning locks of the front door.

In walked Yuki Brasco to [REDACTED], Yuki turned the corner to the main room her face lit up as she grinned. Carla caught Yuki up on the conversation she'd had with Alicia and the plan was set in motion. Alicia grabbed three glasses and a bottle of whiskey from the cupboard, pouring a hefty glass each for the Vatas.

"Mi familia sobre todos always."

Carla, Yuki and Alicia all hopped into the chino custom and made their way to [REDACTED] to meet up with the other Aztecas and their lowriders. Vato FM was blasting at [REDACTED] as each vato showed off their hydraulics.

Inside [REDACTED] they met admired the Graffiti and chatted.

La Puesta en Marcha
“The Setup”

The last community event that Aztecas had hosted went off without a hitch, and with the new year there was a lull in the activity around the city. The people who were antagonising and attacking was diminishing and the vatos were spending time focusing on themselves.

Ahq2LSh.png

Everyone in the group had a job to do, and the Aztecas had become a well oiled machine. Between making drugs, chopping cars, smuggling and sourcing imports, selling weapons, mediating groups conflicts - there was never a dull moment and each day was making them stronger. With a bit of free time, Alicia met with the vatos after having met with the owners of <REDACTED> and securing a deal with them. They would do the work and allow them entry to the establishment provided the vatos were respectful and were willing to get their hands dirty.

ZBZ3KsV.png

Fb6UPwA.png

It was during a trip to El Burro and giving the vatos a history listen on NLA/Aztecas and how they came to be as powerful as they were, Alicia saw a familiar face - Senorita Rosa. The old woman stepped out cautiously from her house and beckoned her over with a huge smile on her face.

yY1Mfxi.png

“I cannot believe you managed to get Teresita across the border. I have missed her so much and my days are not many, gracias bonita”

Alicia smiled to the old woman and gently placed a hand on her shoulder

“Senora, for you and the latinos that have come here looking for the American dream, I will do what I can with the resources I have.”

The woman clicked her fingers and pointed to the door of her house. She hobbled inside, Alicia watched as the frail woman almost tripped across her door. She leaned down to a cupboard in the kitchen and produced out some old dusty bottles of Whiskey.

“You know Nina, I was waiting for a special occasion, but it seems they are few and far between these days - take this and enjoy the night”.

Alicia smiled, the people of her Barrios were the ones she would never forget or lose sight of, and protecting them and most importantly, making their lives in this cut throat city a time they could be free and peaceful. The reason they had left their homes in the first place.
She called the vatos in town and they pulled up to Senorita Rosa’s home where a speaker was produced and they partied long into the night.
As she sat watching the people of El Burro and the Aztecas dancing and laughing together, she smirked - this is what she had been working for. There was nothing else in her mind other than enjoying the moment. But it was cut short and it was suddenly back to business. The snap back into reality stuck with her. How could it feel like there are two completely different sides to this city.

tWYJUcA.png

A few days had passed and the words of Rosa stood in her mind. Good things happened every day in this city, but they were often outweighed by the negative. The work that gets done is consistently overshadowed by lies and opinions of enemies. People tried to hurt them, hurt their familias, their businesses. But they never backed down. Her connects in Mexico had brought wonderful news of new lines of imports and they had begun working on new opportunities, not for them and for self gain, but for all the hispanics and latinos that were treated like dogs within the city, by uninformed people.

Driving around in her Kamacho she closed her eyes for a second on the side of the road, smiling to herself at the happy faces of those around her, dancing and living in the moment. Musica was inherently important to them, but it was also a catalyst of change. Great movements had come from music. It was a universal language. As she opened her eyes she found herself staring directly in the gates of the Sisyphus Theater. Tilting her head she drove into the carpark and took a look around. She jumped up on the stage and screamed. The echo filled the hills around. Things seemed so unfair in this city. No matter what good they had done, it was constantly criticised.

j8BhBy5.png

She sat down on the edge of the stage swinging her legs. She missed her home, she missed her mami. She did not miss the egotistical putos y putas that made her leave. Full of mixed emotions she looked around the arena completely empty, but beautiful in the sun. It reminded her of the music events she would attend as a teenager back in Puerto Rico. It had been a long time since she had just enjoyed a night, and her vatos too.

Slowly a plan formed in her head. At their last event, she was shown some of the talent that Los Santos had to offer, with Frankie V from <REDACTED> having blown everybody away. She thought about the times she had sat at Los Santos Customs listening to the beautiful sounds of Sean Brunotte, a talent that had not gone unnoticed. Pierre Tremblay had been recognised by many, particularly from the bank, and Alicia had the pleasure of hearing his songs while people happily sang along. Each having a distinctive sound and stage presence. Finally she thought of the Christmas Burnout Nation event and how much hype Don Mozzarella had brought as DJ Cheezit.

“I wonder….”

She took out her phone and dropped a message to each of them.

“Hola, would you be interested in performing some live music?”

The first text came back from Pierre - “Happily, give me details”. Then the second, “I would be happy to!” and the third “Give me time and dates”.
She grinned from ear to ear. Maybe this was something they could pull off but she certainly could not do it alone.

Grabbing a notepad and pen she made a list of the things she would need to make this event a reality.

Música En Vivo
Performers
Location
Sound equipment and lighting
Date & Time
Security
Food/Drink
Medical
Parking
Flyers & Advertisement

This was achievable. She quickly called on the radio and asked for the Aztecas who were not busy chopping and cooking to make their way to the location.

They pulled up and walked around to where she was standing. Alicia explained to them what she was hoping to achieve and how she needed help. She walked them around the stage and surrounding area, scouting it out for both sound and security. They determined where each section would be located and listed out the jobs.

Dzovmqf.png

qBiNY5c.png

For the following 3 days Alicia spent all of her time out at the venue sorting out some of the minor details. She needed to get the word out, this would only work if everyone was welcome. Music doesn’t care about gangs or colours. She knew she could rely on her familia to pull this whole thing off.

kKepn9Q.png

They had secured a time and dates for the event to occur, now they just needed to set it up.

The vatos all metup to determine what was left to

W5W4RQJ.png

W5W4RQJ.png
She reached out to Carla and the two chicas went out to the venue and spoke with the owner, requesting rental of the theatre and the equipment for the lights and sounds. They each untangled cables and plugged in to the electrical boxes on the wall. The switch was flipped and the lights came on. Alicia walked up to the mic and turned the power on before tapping on it on hearing the crackle echo through the theater. Things were actually in motion.

QyS910Q.png

8eg7wYX.png

She reached out to Juan and sent him the specifications for the flyers.

“It’s an inclusive event, don’t have the logo front and center or the federales will be all over it”.

Within minutes, she received an email on her phone with a beautiful image

“Good enough?”
“Perfect.”

Hd8kMiY.png

For the second time she called the vatos back to the location.

“I need security for this. Someone in the carpark to keep watch of the cars, we all know how opportunistic people can be. No one gets in with any weapons, there will be no bloodshed at this. No one sneaks in the back. This is a community event, and we know most people don’t have the same cash as others, let’s make things fair, no entry cost but anyone who wants to make a donation can.”

Each of them nodded and the vatos put their names down

“Lewis, Ahmed, you both lead entrance security, Lucy & Alex your on Exit”. Rafi and Vlad, you are going to support the entrance. Lucy & Andrew you are both on Medical duty, you have both earned your medical licenses. Jay Gallo you are on food detail. Anyone you trust can assist and support you in these duties.”

naxYs0m.png

The night was slowly creeping up on them and she had one final thing to prepare. How was she going to advertise it. She grabbed her phone and scrolled through the hundreds of contacts she had accumulated. Starting with every major gang in the city she sent a text to their high commands letting them know the details. Having met with so many up and coming gangs, and listening to the problems and issues they were facing lately, it was nice to see some smileys and happy messages received back. That night they met with Kudo Kai and she let them know of their upcoming event, Dax and Sherlock both looked at her with smiles on their faces.

“We will reach out to you shortly”.

0BliMyD.png

She presumed they were busy and needed some time to see who would be available to come. An old friend of Alicia’s worked for weasel so she gave him a call. She let him know of the event and they worked out a deal for promoting this festival.

A269PhM.png

The weasel employee worked tirelessly and soon a brightly coloured ad filled the billboards of Los Santos

Música En Vivo, Saturday 6th Feb, Sisyphus Theater

Everything was now in place but the clock was ticking.

Only 24 hours to go..

Josh - Progress

Chapter 1 - Work Hard

Since becoming a full member it has been a grind. Trying to prove myself as one of the newer members, I have been doing the most In can when In can. Lately I have taken the role as our “Ambulance”. I have been using my contender to run injured people when needed. This have proven very useful and I have been given thanks from many members of the group just for having it around. To me its perfect, that fact I enjoy driving it and that I enjoy helping me family, it all works out.

But working hard does not mean just helping your family, it means achieving goals and working with others to achieve new heights. We have been fighting everyday, and everyday. winning fight after fight with our current rivals, FSO and Irish. We have been working non-stop to keep chops and turfs in our name. This is a never ending battle because one day you can have ever turf and the next you can have none. But with our teamwork and never ending drive we have been able to keep on top of this.

Chapter 2 - “The Fight”

If you have been in the city you know that Aztecas and LFM have been in constant battle with FSO and Irish. The fighting has been a back and forth for weeks now. Even with our lack of cartel connections we have still been able to fight, and fight hard we will. Day after day when coming into the city we have our conflict but day after day we come out ontop. Recently we have been able to not only win fights here and there but also send a message while we are at it.

After some FSO took a losing fight we decided to send them a message they won't forget. We dropped their lifeless members' bodies at their front door.

With continued peak member count each day the fight goes on. Even with recent changes in our tactics of being on our own freq, we are still fighting battles on multiple fronts. We are currently fighting FSO, Irish, and other smaller groups that think of attaching us even after we give them our help to try and prove themself. But time after time we prove to others that its best to stay neutral with us, how we want it to be.

Chapter 3 - Recognition

After trialing for about two months we all got gathered up to have a meeting. Once the meeting started, everyone knew it was promotion day. We started with some basic meeting stuff, what we needed to do, what we were doing good already. So at this point we were all just waiting for the part of the meeting when people get their new ranks. Then it started, Alicia and Carlos started calling peoples name one by one. Then I heard my name. This was my first time being a part of a promotion meeting and I was wide eyed with what I saw happening to the other people promoted. As I walked up there was a small pool of blood below where I stood. Carlos and Alicia started saying their words. They would say how they feel the person being promoted had done and why they are promoting the person. After this I was told to kneel down and expose my neck. Willing and wanting to take the next step into this group I did exactly what they said and prepared myself for what was about to happen. Alicia then stated that during my time I had done more than was expected as a trial and had been trialing for longer than necessary. She stated that I would be promoted, not just to the next rank, but two ranks from trial. At this point Carlos grabbed my head and put two lines down the back of my neck. Pushing through the pain, knowing what this means for my future allowed me to suppress it and keep a straight face. At this point I was told to stand up and was declared “Guerilla”

Chapter 3 - Power in allies

Aztecas power alone is enough to make enemies shudder, but when you take more than you can eat you will feel the effect. During the height of the fighting we were showing fully force everyday. Us, LFM and other groups we fought alongside us made an unbreakable wall no one would even try to go through.

With recent changes to how we manage ourselves, we no longer have joint freq with other allies during the day. We occasionally arrange something but for the most part were on our own freq. When we first started doing this I had some doubt if we would still be able to fight the people we have been fighting and still come out on top. But only days after the change I realized that my worries are unneeded. Day after day we have peak members on our own freq and we still continue to strategize and make progress in our fighting and tactics.

At the end of the day a group is only as strong as its members, and members are only as strong as their bond to one another, and with Aztecas we are all family. Creating the necessary bond that makes us one of a kind.

Part 1 (Path To Azteca)

Haji departs from his plane into the lobby of Los Santos International Airport with nothing but a few bags of belongings and a couple grand to his name. He needed a fresh start, a new beginning. He had spent his entire life up to this point in Africa, where he helped his mother with charity work for the less fortunate. While he felt good helping those of less fortune, seeing their struggles and their afflictions would fill him with a sense of pain and dirtied his thoughts of his home country. Eventually, he decided that he would leave Africa when he was 19 in hopes of finding a better city, with better people. Fresh from Africa, he was enticed by the bright lights and sunny beaches of Los Santos. From the postcards, it would seem as though Los Santos was perfect. The rich and elite Vinewood Hills and the beautiful Del Perro Beach. However, looks would be deceiving, and Haji would soon find the same problems in Africa also existed in Los Santos. The difference this time being, instead of running, Haji would grit his teeth and fight back against the people and systems attempting to keep him down. In Los Santos, he would find new friends and new family to help him fight.

With no direction or no instruction on how to get by in Los Santos as a new arrival, Haji went where everyone went, the pier. He spent countless hours there. He met dozens of new faces and new people, but there were two that would stand out more than others: Alonzo Hernandez and Jay Valentine. Haji, being the born troublemaker that he was, would constantly find himself in some sort of trouble. Whether it be running from police, or crashing his bike, Alonzo and Jay would always be there to watch his back... and run him to MD when necessary. Alonzo was also the first person to introduce him to the Latino community in Los Santos, and this is where Haji first learned of the Aztecas. Haji instantly knew that he was in the right place and that he would do whatever he could to help those in need, and in this case the ones in need were La Familia Mexicana. Haji made the decision to devote himself to getting the experience he needs to walk alongside Alonzo and he focused on getting himself on a level where he would relate with La Comunidad Mexicana.

Eventually, Haji got a job working at LSC alongside Jay to help him get some money. While Haji did enjoy his job at LSC, he felt as though there wasn’t enough to do. Every day he works on cars and that's it, but there was still something missing. Eventually he met some new friends by the names Ava and Max Xanny. Haji grew close with them and he knew they would always watch his back when someone on pier would mess with Haji, and without him asking, Ava and Max would always come to Haji’s defense. This eventually led to Haji joining Max’s gang, North Side Sinnerz. Haji left his job at LSC, he transferred to Bayview and soon got fired due to his criminal path. Haji used this opportunity to focus on his new nightlife. He spent his nights rolling with Max and the NSS boys getting into trouble. Eventually trouble caught up to him and Haji found himself spending a good bit of time in DOC.

Eventually, Haji found himself out of place in NSS. He felt as though he didn’t belong, as if he was meant for more. He remembered his days with Alonzo and Jay, and hanging out in the barrio and being so close to the Mexican community. These memories helped him make his decision. He would join the Aztecas. He asked Alonzo for someone high enough to speak to. He was given the number of [REDACTED], the second in command for Aztecas. Haji contacted her soon after, It was back and forth for a few weeks. Haji and [REDACTED] kept on missing each other. [REDACTED] one night decided to ask other Aztecas about Haji and decided to recruit him over text. Thanks to the backing of his Mexican brothers, Haji officially became a New Fish in the Aztecas.

"La Familia"

Haji got in his car and drove straight to the nearest clothing store, He got himself dressed up to look like a real Azteca, Haji made sure that he would represent the Aztecas no matter what and that he would always put his life on the line to protect his fellow Familia. Haji got to know all the Aztecas shortly after and made sure that they would get to know him and trust him. Although Haji was never a Mexican, nor was he Spanish. Haji made sure to let people know that he will fight till death for the Mexican community. Haji’s goal in Los Santos is not to end every other group out there or be better than them. Haji’s goal is to protect the Azteca turf, To protect his brothers and Sisters and to have honor in doing so. Whether Haji has to put his life on the line or end someone else's  life, He will always make sure to remember his goal and until the Mexican community is not safe. Haji will fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. And he will always remember; Mi Familia Sobre Todos.
