Aztecas are no stranger to war, but the current situation became personal. After the defectors lost Aztecas their connection to the cartel, they once again had to pick themselves back up. The Church was lost also in the midst of this battle, in what felt like the lowest blow. But again, Aztecas do not give up. The defectors started employing tactics of dressing up and meeting with our enemies, but to little advantage. Confusion was seen in the faces of our allies when people dressed in our colours began to attack everyone around them.

Meetings were scheduled between Aztecas and other gangs to ensure there was an understanding of the current situation. Support was shown by almost every corner of the City and the vatos felt re-invigorated. But the problem of the defectors still existed, wearing the iconic blue skull mask that the Aztecas had worked so hard to earn. They knew what they had to do - rip it from every one of their faces.

99TehoMeat.png

In the midst of the chaos, a man reached out to the Aztecas and set up a meeting, stating they were from the Cartel, looking to gain information on the current situation. Just by their presence, the Aztecas regained their confidence that their connections were not lost for good. It was explained to them that the heart and soul of the Real NLA still existed, and we had dropped the “Novo”, we are no longer the New Aztecas, but the heart and soul of the group, the true Aztecas.

10.png

Known for the iconic half face blue skull mask, gray colours in particular their vato checkered shirt and baggy pants, the Aztecas will continue to fight until the defectors remove their mask and gray colours. A simple request.

37i32nv.png

Still bouncing their gray lowriders through the streets of Los Santos, the Aztecas have never forgotten what it took to get to their current position. They represent the Cholo’s and Chola’s of the City and ensure that the Latino’s and Hispanic’s always have someone who they can turn to for protection. When the vato’s are not in their lowriders, they are easily distinguished by their gray sports cars that they have worked so hard to earn, most of them having come to the city with nothing.

The Azteca’s are not afraid of hard work, they were born through dedication, triumphs and failures. With that said, they still require goals and aspirations for their familia.

Ensuring established relations within the city continue
Obtaining a new base of operations for day to day
Generating steady income to fund future endeavours
Expanding the groups reach and influence within the city
Removing all defectors Blue Skull Masks and ensuring the Gray Colour is recognised as belonging to the real Aztecas
Re-establishing connections to Mexico and pipelines for weapons
Relocating the Sunday Services to a new location for the Public to attend
Gaining Warehouse Access for storage

A Place To Call Home

Left without a HQ from which to run day to day operations, more importantly a place to call home and with the offshore account having been cleaned out by the defectors, the familia needed to find a new HQ. Several locations were scouted and one stood out among them as the perfect place for the AZTECAS to call home. In order to make this place our home first the familia must buy the land so a plan was made between the high command and set in motion.

For the next few days the money transporters were watched and followed around Blaine County, their routes, times, shift patterns all studied and noted.

A meeting was called and a plan explained to the vatos. Money trucks were the target. The goal, not personal wealth, but rather a roof for the famila to sleep under at night. Every last detail was explained. Two Kamachos and a Rebela to transport the men and money, a drag to scout the area, tail the targets and keep watch.

ggU5qJZ.png

Each vehicle would be occupied by 4 vatos, a designated driver and 2 Men to unload the bags of cash from the truck and into the Kamachos and one to secure the money truck driver.

The vatos set out, the plan was now in motion.

License plates were removed from each of the vehicles, each of the vatos was masked and gloved to conceal their identity and avoid leaving any fingerprints behind. Guns were loaded, gas tanks were full, the Aztecas were ready.

rjbiFTN.jpg

The drag tore down the road, in search of a money truck, while passing Braddock’s Farm the first target was sighted moving north as expected, the news was radioed in by the drags driver Apol and the rest of the vato’s moved out from Paleto heading south towards the target. The money truck pulled into the gas station opposite of North Lab, as the driver exited the vehicle the Vatos pounced, one man from each vehicle secured the driver. On his knees and petrified he dared not touch his radio, phone or panic button.
The rest of the vatos began to unload the bags of cash from the vehicle’s rear, 7 bags of cash in total. The vatos were quick and efficient, the bags were loaded in a matter of minutes and they were all back in their vehicles before and out of there before any passerby could alert the authorities.

P7usDHs.jpg

z1sL6qA.jpg

The vatos went back to the hideout and laid low to let the heat cool down and prepare for the second hit.

FiIGHXH.jpg

As night fell the vatos moved out once more. The target was spotted moving to Paleto from the east highway, its drop, an ATM just off the main street in Paleto, only meters from their former home, the Church. Once again, the plan went smoothly. The money transporter again subdued without a shot fired, the vatos loaded up the kamachos again and were gone before anyone else could know. Returning again to the ranch and safely storing the cash the mission was a success.

sxSE56C.jpg

4fMsWhk.jpg

All the vatos needed was the ranch’s owner to return from his foreign business trip so they could secure it as their new HQ, their new family home. Days and days passed and text messages did not deliver, no sign of the owner. The vatos were getting frustrated, while functionally they had been using the ranch as their own, they wanted it to be truly theirs but the owner was nowhere to be found. Out of nowhere on Tuesday in an ironic twist of faith, Carlos receives a text from the church’s owner. He needs cash and wants to sell the vatos old home, the church. A price was quickly agreed and a deal made and the church was bought, at this point only 2 Aztecas knew the church was ours again, Carlos who had done the deal along with Juan who had figured it out.. They had to let the rest of the familia know we had our home again. Juan changed his clothes, now dressed as one of the defectors, he bobby pinned from down the street as Carlos kept watch which they abandoned outside the church, Carlos and Juan went inside and locked the door. Juan handed Carlos his pistol, put on his new mask and got on his knees. Carlos made a backup call on radio;
“Get to church now, all of you. I have one of them on their knees inside. Get here fast!”
Every vato on the frequency dropped what they were doing and rushed to the church, ready to commit some heinous acts. Guns drawn they entered the church, and took the “defector” upstairs. On his knees guns pointed at him from every direction, Juan removes his mask.

qJKgP14.png
“WE GOT YOU! Welcome home vatos!”
The vatos were in disbelief, shocked, delighted, confused, but it didn't matter, the church was ours again, our home was ours again.

Fresh Starts

QjRuIG0.png

Now the Vato’s were home and back living in the Church, the friends and family that had missed them in Paleto were excited to see them. Their old neighbours flocked to the Church with gifts of Tequilas and Tacos to welcome them back.

Excitement filled the air.

1BrYo24.png

ctTQWQG.png

The old layout of the Church was full of good and bad memories so they decided to rip everything down and start fresh, a whole new look for the interior of their home. For weeks the Vatos worked hard to pull out all the old furniture, destroying old walls and pulling up the floors. Everyone chipped in and helped out. They had finally returned home, and they were looking forward to their first Sunday gathering.

6TVEHoS.png

To thank everyone for their hard work and dedication through these times, the Higher Ups decided the Vatos needed a little break.

11Xxyx3.png

And what better way than to release some energy with some unorthodox racing. Many bottles of spirits later, the Vatos laughed and sang, everyone’s spirits were high.

With their new found excitement, the Vatos thought what better time than to bring out the lowriders they were so fond of, and take a tour around the city, stopping first into El Burro Heights to remember where everything started and ending by visiting the image of Santa Maria in Jamestown, much to the delight of everyone they passed by.

After returning home and building some more (a feat that felt like would never be completed), a call came on the radio - “Quickly there are 2 gentlemen outside waiting to speak to you.”
Carlos and Alicia lined up the Vatos and went to see what was the commotion. They stepped out into the beautiful sun of Paleto  and were surprised to see that the Cartel had dropped by to see the Vatos back in their home, and to wish them well with their futures and discuss some business.

Sunday rolled by faster than could have been imagined and the Vatos had finally completed their building. No members of the public had been allowed inside while it was under construction, all in preparation for Sunday. The Vatos pulled out their best suits and prepared for the words of Padre Juan, something they had missed doing while they did not have the church. They prepared their blunts and waited excitedly to see how many would attend the grand reopening. People started piling into the Church yard, much to the pride of the Vatos. What felt like half the city showed up, and people from all walks of life came to give support to true Vato’s of Los Santos - the Aztecas.

Every colour, every profession and so many new and old faces came to give support to each of the vatos there.

At the break of a new day Angelo grabbed his weapons and prepared for bloodshed. Word had traveled through the Vatos that there was danger looming and a fight was on the verge of happening, with this news Angelo stops and prays to the Holy Vato to make his aim true and his shots Lethal....

Friends and Enemies

The Vato’s were enjoying a peaceful couple of days following the reopening of the church. Things were good for the familia and a sense of rejuvenated energy was washing over them.

FUpGM2G.png
They were enjoying life and the vices the city had to offer.

mOzB0oH.png

Xyf2xJm.png

Promotions were conducted and the Vato’s took the time to ensure their hierarchical structure was sound and those people who deserved and earned promotions received them.

Suddenly a call came in, a shootout in Chiliad between Zetas and Cops.

CAefnj2.png

The Vatos arrived and helped clean up PD, taking every single body cam and dash cam was removed from the cruisers.

Ukj1r3O.png

To ensure there was no evidence left, Carlos took a jerry can and doused the officers and cruisers in gasoline.

KdSg7rB.png

A single shot was fired by Jay that ignited a giant explosion ensuring that all evidence was destroyed.

A dark red cloud appeared over the city early one morning, almost like a premonition.

iB2aj5o.png

The vatos had heard rumours of a group in town that were rapidly growing, and word was being spread - a group called “Skulls”. Wearing red fedoras and black suits, the Skulls were comprised of people who had failed to join the Aztecas, or who had recently come to the city. Feeling powerful with their new recruits, and after pulling together some guns to share amongst them, they made an immoral decision, one that no enemy has attempted to do before; disrupt the Holy Vato Sunday Service.

nbM3Hcz.png

With the Vatos, their friends and the people of Paleto excited to attend their 2nd service since returning to the Church, disappointment ripped through the streets.

soaPYg7.png

Revenge was in order.

L8pZo6j.png

Every moment following this was spent destroying the false sense of security. In desperation Skulls recruited many people from anywhere they could, the growth was unsustainable. Their people were not trained, which led to many many losses for them. Their people began to appear to Church requesting peace and noting that their fight was not sustainable.

But this did not loosen the tight grip the vatos held and in fact made them fight even harder.

BEeZCeJ.png

They decided to bring Church to them and Padre held a personal service for them in their HQ to which each Skull was put on their knees to pray to the Padre.

IvkIEb8.png

The Skulls HQ became a hunting ground for the Vatos, waiting and watching for any opportunity to catch them.

qZCmrfh.png

rFuEwIg.png

The colour black and red was seen less and less throughout the city until word came through that many of their people had abandoned them.

ZbazRBX.png

But throughout this all, the Vatos never lost their confidence nor their strength, and instead flourished with their new blood bonds. New fish and existing members fought alongside each other through every step of the way and the true Azteca’s proved to the city just how loyal, protective and strong they are.

flCJhBg.png

Already having moved on from the nuisance that was Skulls the Vatos prepared for their road ahead and ensuring they had an adequate place to call a HQ.. But planning was required….

To be continued…..

The Familia knows well that you have to cherish the quiet times, as they are few and far between.

One evening they decided to take out their much loved Pantos for a family race night. There was a lot of cheating, a lot of accidents and a lot of "not in my eyes"

It was a fun break from all of the violence of recent, and reminded them to not only fight for each other, but to also laugh with each other.

Commitments

As the previous Sunday Service was cancelled due to unforeseen events, even more excitement and buzz surrounded the service for the Vatos this week. People from Paleto and Los Santos put on their best Sunday clothes and made their way to the Church to listen to the words of Padre Juan.

maJZpZd.png

GiPRoK6.png

With the exception of one very loud Swedish man, the service went smoothly with everyone enjoying their blunts handed out by Carlos & Alicia.

y7EQhGP.png

Padre Juan read from the Holy Book of the Vato to the congregation, allowing everyone a chance to reflect on the days gone by and the days ahead.

pfrBVLC.png

The service was over but one of the chicas Valentina calls up her girlfriend & Capitan Mia to the front of the altar. Everyone looked on with sheer excitement as Valentina  got down on one knee in front of everyone in attendance.

Mia exclaimed “Yes” at the question and the fist Vato engagement was official.

daloNNm.png

Tears streamed down the Vatos faces with joy, and everyone gleefully gave their congratulations as the happy couple made a commitment in front of everyone to uphold their love for one another.

2OK3tQp.png

During the fights with Skulls and following the disruption at Church, there was a commitment Alicia had made to the Vatos, to find Marqueese. Even thought the fights had subsided, the grudge she held towards him for the words he had used against her familia still rang in her ears. Something she was not able to find closure with. Having personally attacked the people she held dearest, along with attempting to mark her reputation, she made a commitment that should she ever find him, she would personally see that retribution would be had.

As she was relaxing at the Aztecas HQ she received a text - “Marqueese is in a car outside right now”. One of the ex members of Skulls knew of the insults and hurt he had caused them and wished to make things right, bringing Marqueese right to her doorstop. Happily she jumped at the opportunity and pulled a gun on him before he could realise what exactly was happening.

She quickly searched him, he had nothing. But that was not going to stop her. She forced the man on his knees and took a needle full of heroin and began to inject him. She needed him docile before she could move him. Her Capitan Monte and Mano Derecha Juan each took the man by the arms and legs and threw him into the trunk of the car and brought him to a beautiful, quiet location.

EvtUYrt.png

gmlOKii.png

The man came too in the water under the freeway, and there she began to remind him of all the things he had done, as well as letting him know that his plans to setup a new group were already being discussed around the city.

nbIn02a.png

The man’s attitude did not change so using her recently sharpened blade she cut the outline of a Skull into the man’s face, with a cross through it.

Sj9iCBo.png

He did not stop speaking and insulting the 3 vatos, so Monte held his head under the water until he was gurgling for air. But still the man would not stop speaking.

m7cfACI.png

Forcing him to eat the mud was the only way he began to be silenced. Once they had finished questioning him on his new crew, Alicia wanted him to be of no value to the city and jaggedly sliced off his trigger finger. She held his head back and sliced the knife across his throat to watch the blood pour down his chest.

JCaXI2h.png

She stepped back and Monte smashed him across the head with his bat. The man was resilient and did not die. They pushed him up against the concrete wall and each aimed a gun at his head.

“Any last words?”

“Long live the skulls..”

Before he was able to finish his sentence, the sound of bullets hung in the air, the concrete wall covered in blood.

yadq5Ti.png

They dragged his body to the ocean and dumped it for the fishes.

tmS5vjV.png

e3OTMx3.png

One was down, one more to go.

The vatos returned to their HQ and the final round of promotions was to be had. Each vato who was promoted was made to commit their loyalty and understanding that each person has a role within the familia and full respect was to be shown to each member and in particular the High Command, something they take very seriously.

VlSCx9j.png

UkVViRB.png

After all of the commitments and ceremonies, a party was in order and with some new friends they drank tequila outside of church and partied into the wee hours of the morning.

Switching Sides

It was early morning, Alicia was chilling at HQ when an off duty Deputy Callahan approached one of the vatos and asked to speak with her. The radio call came through
“Alicia, there is a man here looking to speak with you”
She came outside to see who it was to recognize him as Deputy Callahan of the Paleto Sheriff's Department.
“Hello piggy! “What do you want?” she greeted him.
He asked if he could talk to her privately so they went to the HQ roof. Apprehensive of being left alone with an LEO she asked Juan to be present too. As the 3 of them stood on the roof Deputy Callahan, Jackie, began to explain how since joining the sheriff's department he had watched our familia closely, he spoke of his time as a criminal in the city before going clean and joining the EMT’s and eventually becoming a deputy in Paleto. He spoke highly of the values of loyalty and brotherhood displayed by the vatos and how he felt law enforcement left him feeling empty and alone, how the job was more about ruining peoples lives than doing good for the community, and how he wanted to leave this career behind and join a familia of loyal brothers.
Juan and Alicia stood on the roof smoking their blunts, listening to and watching the man closely, when he had finished they began questioning him, his motives, his trustworthiness.
After some time they consulted with each other, both were confident his motives were pure and this was not a ploy by sheriff Wallace to get an informant in the familia, but at the same time it would take more than just words to prove this and if he were to be given the chance it would take input and vetting from more than just themselves.
At the next meeting of High Command the topic of Jackie was brought up, some were apprehensive, repulsed at the idea of a morrano being their family. Others were able to see the advantages of having someone experienced with the day to day operation and tactic used by our number one enemy. Eventually a decision was reached, he would be vetted one further time and given a test, if the test was passed, he would be given the opportunity to become a New Fish.
BAxmpnK.png

lCLbafk.png

Jackie was sent a single text message, be at Humane Labs the time and date also specified. He arrived and parked his car, moments later two grey camo Kamachos rolled into the car park and came to a halt either side of his car. He stood there as two men in the grey shirts of Los Aztecas approached him, the first, Angelo, began to pat him down for any weapons or bugs, neither were found, the second man Tony rummaged stood with a burlap sack in his hands as soon as the pat down was finished he put it over Jackie’s head, tightening it impairing his vision. He was then led to the back of a Kamacho and taken to a remote location, an abandoned farm house in nearby Grapeseed.
Jackie was led to the basement, surrounded and questioned again, this time the questioning was led by El J’efe. Jackie did well, but words are cheap, it’s actions that speak the truth.

uJB1f2y.png

kGrVP4j.png

JIcGwZT.jpg
A man was led to the basement, handcuffed not dressed in any identifiable gang colors, a sack over his head, the man was quiet at first, A .50 caliber pistol was handed to Jackie, if he was to prove his intentions were to be a part of this familia and to prove he was not working for police he must execute this man, right here, right now, in front of all who were watching. Jackie had two questions.

“May i see who he is?”
“No”
“May I know what he has done to deserve this fate?”
“He is a traitor to our familia”
The handcuffed man became angered and begane shouting
“I will see you all in fucking hell!”
Jackie took a deep breath, pointed the weapon at the man's forehead and pulled the trigger.

CLINK
The gun was empty, no one had died but Jackie had proven his loyalty and earned his chance to be a new fish and potentially join the familia, Los Aztecas.

He left his first meeting with his new family, went to the sheriffs office, proudly wearing the signature grey shirt of Los Aztecas and resigned immediately.

La Guerra ("The War")

On a cold rainy night in Los Santos, notice was given that La Guerra had begun.

The Vato's said a prayer to Santa Muerte to protect them and loaded up.

Patience and planning is key here, something they have learned through their countless wars in the past and having fought WCA for months before, they knew the risks involved and what to do.

The Green Streets of Grove turned to Gray, Blue and Red

Video made by Los Aztecas very own Del Torro all credit to him
