  3. 理智 (Sanity) --- "The last thing you can afford to lose is your mind." Chris nodded along to the words that the old man was speaking, his eyes staring off into the distance. "You lose that, you'll be lost forever." He closed his eyes for a second and just as he opened them again, the man had vanished. Not bearing too much mind, Chris lept off the wall that he was just sitting on and opened the door to his apartment's garage. Getting in the driver's seat of his trusty Jester Classic, he let his hand slide over the Oni mask that he had been wearing for the last few months. For now, he would not put it on, instead taking in all the ripples. The texture. The scars it had collected. The memories. It was time. He opened up his phone as tears rolled down his face. Phoning and texting old friends, some of which had become enemies. For Chris, the love was still there. He made his way out onto the streets and only had one destination in mind. Arriving in Paleto, he parked in front of The Office and went up to the roof. Taking in the salty, dirty, Paleto scent, he let his gaze wander through the city he called his own. Mayor of Paleto forever. At least in his mind. Making his way back into the city, there was only one more stop left. His eyes lit up when he saw the parking lot of the Noodle House full with cars. This is what he had worked for and he was proud of it. Stepping inside for one last time, he said his goodbyes to the members seated around the table and went back on his way. He was not sure of where this ride would lead him. All he knew was, it would lead him away. Back on the road to save his sanity. --- This concludes the end of my journey on Eclipse. It has been an incredible year, I've achieved everything I wanted to and more. I've made a lot of friends and for that I am so thankful. Thank you FSO for taking me in when I was just a little legal and honestly was until the end. Massive thank you to everyone on Eclipse that made this journey a fucking great one, you're far too many to list here. But I think you know who you are. Love you all, FSO forever.
  4. r u gonna include the part where the noodle house was set on fire by evil-doers?
  5. Strawberry Car Meet At this point, the Four Seas Order were no strangers to putting on public events. After all, they helped keep up the public image and made Little Seoul’s citizens happy. With the Order’s recent move into Strawberry including the acquisition of the local laundromat. Looking to increase their influence and also introduce themselves to the neighborhood, it was decided that a car meet would be put on at their new property. Thanks to Jake’s connections in the city, he was able to acquire a brand new Penumbra FF for unusually cheap to raffle away. After adding some mods to it, it was put on display for everyone to see at the laundromat’s parking lot. With ads running throughout the day and such an attractive giveaway, the Order was hoping for a good turnout. The radiant sun’s rays shined bright across the city of Los Santos. The occasional blaring of sirens and engines roaring filled the warm air. A beautiful day for a car meet. Of course, there had to be a bit of preparation before the event. Jake and Chris got straight to work. The Penumbra FF was carefully driven to the end of the lot by Jake. Of course, the giveaway car was the vocal point of the event. The iconic green of the vehicle glimmered as the sun’s rays hit it. They then both got in contact with Weazel News to put out some final advertisements for the big day. Time would soon tell the turnout of the event. Vehicles from all different makes and models flooded the once vacant lot. People from all over the city came to view cars as well as show off their own. Jake was busy processing raffle entries for countless amounts of people while Chris kept the crowd lively with his charisma. It was quite the turnout for the Order. As the meet came to an end, it was time for a winner to be announced. Jake went ahead and got all the entries counted. He then used a random number generator to pick a very lucky person to take home the iconic Penumbra FF. “Sean Manner!” Sean slowly made his way to Jake in shock. The vehicle’s papers were then signed off to Sean and the once filled lot would soon become vacant again. Another successful event by the Order. Who knows what may come next... Big thank you to Jean Pelletier for putting out this awesome video on the event:
  6. Sounds super interesting, best of luck
  7. 盛宴 (Feast) --- With the holiday season in full swing, there were events being held all over to the city. Coming off of the massive success that was the previous weekend’s opening of Steamboat Beers where the Four Seas Order could showcase their skills in dumpling making, they were invited by Burnout Nation to serve noodles at their upcoming Yule Feast event. Jake Okibi, in all his strength, loaded the air fryer, wok and stoves into the trunk of his trusty Novak and transported the cooking utensils over to the location. Arriving at the event, members of FSO were excited to see that their stand would be located next to that of Daichead Gadaí who would be serving drinks Steamboat style. Burnout’s Asbjorn Schmidt would be firing up the grill as well. With a Noodle House banner hanging in front of their stand, the team set up their cooking area and Hina began preparing the noodles to be served. Soon enough, people were lining up for some noodles before grabbing a drink from the Irish stand. Burnout Nation managed to score a party bus that Don Mozzarella aka DJ Cheezit utilized to its full potential as many visitors were drawn to the dance area while the rest of the visitors mingled or took a stroll through the rows of cars that had filled up the parking lot. As another successful event drew to a close, the Four Seas Order were relieved that while old friendships had fallen apart, new ones had finally started blossoming.
  8. 急需休息 (Much needed break) --- After months of fighting, the tired warriors of the Four Seas Order were longing for some time away from all the stress and hecticness. After all, how much use is a worn-out fighter? News of Daichead Gadaí opening their pub, Steamboat Beers, thus came at the perfect time. Finally something to look forward to that would leave them without gunshot residue, serving as a break from the troubling and oftentimes scary criminal life. To make things even better, the Order was offered to contribute to the menu with their own beverage or food; they of course did not refuse this proposal from their new allies. A decision on what they would bring to the opening was quickly made: They were going to shy away from delicious noodles this time, instead opting for pork dumplings. Before the official opening, a few members even got to try one of the beers that would be served: Daichead Nation, a beer from the brewery of Asbjorn Schmidt, member of Burnout Nation, a local car club and event organizer. The drink tasted just as delicious as the scent that filled the room when it was poured into their glasses. On the day of the event, Ling was working hard to get the dumplings done perfectly for the opening. The kitchen was left a mess but it was worth it. Arriving at Steamboat, Lola showed them the dumpling station that had been set up for them at a corner of the bar. This is where Greg and Kent Liang as well as Jamal Wilson would be handing out free dumplings for the evening. The place filled quickly and soon enough the Four Seas Order could happily observe many of the guests munching on dumplings in between sips of their drinks. Finally, in times of turmoil, it felt like unity and friendship were the only things that mattered. Jaymes McClean and Eoghan Macc provided the soundtrack for the evening, taking the audience for a trip around the world with their music from all parts of the globe. As the evening was winding down, Chris used the opportunity to invite their Irish friends to the Noodle House that was going to open the next day. Invitations were then also sent out to TRCC and La Nostra Famiglia, two families that the Order was happy to call their friends. --- “Doors are open.” One could have thought the Four Seas Order were operating a circus as the Clowns funneled into the restaurant. Along with them entered the Irish mandem and gyaldem of Daichead Gadaí. Soon enough, everyone had sat down at a table with chatter and the smell of delicious noodles filling the room, exchanging the cold and darkness that surrounded them on the outside with warmth and comfort. Traditional Chinese music was played as stomachs were getting filled. With the dumplings from the previous day being a big hit, they were brought back for this evening as well. This is what the Four Seas Order had been missing. Ever since the conflicts started, there were no opportunities to invite their friends for noodles and a good time but this weekend they were more than happy to enjoy the welcome distraction. New friendships were born as the members of the different gangs met each other, introducing themselves and exchanging stories. The smiling faces served as a reward for the defenders of Little Seoul. A complete contrast to recent times. The soft plucking of guqins replaced the thundering sounds of gunfire, laughter replaced screams and yelling. There was peace, at least for a little bit. With the evening coming to an end, the newly formed alliance started heading out of the Noodle House back into the cold that was awaiting them outside. Putting their masks back on, the feeling of peace disappeared. Duty called.
  9. 領土 (Territory) --- Little Seoul is bursting at the seams. A recent influx of people moving into the area has led to most housing opportunities being taken up. As a result, the nearby neighborhood of Strawberry has become the choice of residence for many Chinese citizens. Though not a district of luxury and comfort, Strawberry offers affordable housing for the working class, as well as multiple properties for the new residents to set up their businesses in. Of course, it is also home to the Central MD. Unfortunately, life in these poor neighborhoods can and will lead to increased criminal activity against the residents. As such, members of the Chinese community in Little Seoul have asked the Four Seas Order for protection for their families in Strawberry. Happy to oblige, a place for local people in trouble to come to was established. It did not take long for the first requests to come in.
  10. 增長 (Growth) --- The Four Seas Order has always avoided fighting. Shooting is too loud and bad for business. However, in recent times, it was unavoidable. Fortunately, their relations with Daichead Gadaí and TRCC had improved to a point where the Order could rely on their support and vice versa. The family kept growing and over time the number of people fighting under the FSO banner had risen drastically. Some of the most experienced criminals of the city were looking for a new home and they decided that Little Seoul would be the perfect place. With a lot of fighting going on, the Four Seas Order could not forget about their service to the citizens of Little Seoul and the rest of the civilians of Los Santos. They spent some time checking up on the business in the area, patrolling the alley-ways and making sure that the people that relied on them could enjoy Little Seoul without any issues. The Pandas then set out to hold another event for the public - A car meet. Choosing the same location as the first time around, they wanted to allow for some time off and a chance to enjoy some peace and harmony. Everyone was happy to see that the event had once again been a success. Chatter and laughter filled the parking lot, allowing for a much needed a breather and the opportunity to catch up with old friends. Unfortunately for them, two of their members had been caught out and so part of them had to abruptly leave. Time for peace and quiet had come to an end. ---
  11. 園藝 (Gardening) --- Chris awoke to a text from Daichead Gadaí’s Lola DeValera informing him that they would like to show the Four Seas Order something that they have been working on, proposing that it might be something that the Order would like to get involved in. Curious to see what the text was about, the two set up a meeting for later in the day. With time fast approaching, the team of higher-ups gathered and made their way to the Steamboat Tavern where they were greeted by Lola, who showcased Irish hospitality by offering everyone drinks from the bar before leading them to the impressive meeting room. Before getting to the main reason that this meeting was called, the two parties used the opportunity to get caught up on the current situations of both groups and general happenings in the city. They came to a mutual understanding of how they could benefit from each other, as well as the historical connections that united the two groups and so a deal was struck. Moving onto the main topic, Lola unfolded a piece of paper in the middle of the table. The Order curiously scanned the depictions of what appeared to be a bunch of walls, doors and stairs but were still confused as to what exactly they were looking at. “This is our bomb making facility.” The looks of confusion turned into those of amazement. None of them were aware that the Irish were producing their own bombs in the city and were naturally eager to take a look at the workshop where this all was taking place. Concluding the meeting, everyone wasted no time heading out of the Tavern and over to their vehicles. Guided by Lola, they made their way to the unassuming building and went inside. Marvel overcame the faces of the Four Seas Order as they were inspecting the inside. The quiet buzzing of the multiple apparatuses that inhabited the place greeted them on their arrival. They were led upstairs to a more open area overlooking part of the facility below them. After further explaining the functions of the building, Lola pointed to an almost empty, seemingly unused area, offering the Order to use the space, as well as the utility room to get any goods prepared for shipment. An offer they obviously could not refuse. On their way out, the Four Seas Order already started discussing how they could use the space, though for now, they would wait on Chi to talk to her about everything before they would get back to Daichead Gadaí. Once again, they thanked Lola before going their separate ways. --- After being filled in, Chi knew exactly what to do with the place. Already supplying their customers with a multitude of drugs, there was one frequent demand that they were still looking to fulfill: Opium. A couple of days later, after Chris had informed Lola that they had found a use for the workshop, the operation of setting up an opium poppy plantation began. Sean Manner was tasked with picking up a bag of soil from YouTool’s gardening section while Chris was off buying striplamps and planter boxes. After Sean had returned with the soil, Chris stuffed everything inside the trusty van and drove to the facility. Having carried everything inside, he went to work on filling the boxes with the freshly bought soil, planting the seeds that had been ordered some days before, one by one. A tedious process, but he had to make sure that everything was right. The plantation would have needed a few more touches to give the maximum yield. He picked up the striplamps from the ground and installed them above the boxes. Chris looked at his dirty palms with a pained smile, breathing heavily. He observed the planter boxes one final time before heading back to the Noodle House. A job well done.
  12. Chris Kellermann The story so far --- “10-2 Kellermann.” He breathed a sigh of relief as he took off his work attire to slip into more comfortable clothing. He closed the locker room door behind him and went up to the roof of the building, where he would regularly just sit and think. He stood on the edge of the building, his gaze fixated on the Noodle House down the road, as a smile graced his face and he got lost in his thoughts. He remembered getting on the plane in Germany, thinking he was just going to be away for a year. Arriving in Paleto Bay for the first time, a place he would quickly fall in love with and still calls home to this day. A place where friendships came to be and where they ended. Meeting Thomas, Eddie, Connor, the Aztecas and of course one Charlie Kwang. He thought back to the day when him and friends finally bought a property, feeling like they finally left their mark on the place. Mayor of Paleto - A moniker he started using jokingly, though somehow it stuck. It was in Paleto that he heard about the Four Seas Order for the time as well. When being told about the group, Thomas and him were immediately intrigued, especially when they heard that Charlie, at this point one of Chris’ longtime friends, was one of the founders along with Jae Fang. Thomas had always wanted Chris to join a gang with him but their paths outside of their friendship were always different. While Thomas got into the criminal life early on, Chris chose to make use of his degree and join Weazel News. Most of Chris’ best friends were criminals, sure, and he helped out if he could, but he never got directly involved. That changed on one fateful day where his old friends of the Aztecas asked him for a favor; and it was not a small one. They needed guns and he had a license. 71 .50s were the order. Chris agreed, of course, after all they were his good friends and had been by his side for ages. Unfortunately for Chris, the police caught wind of it and soon enough, he found himself in prison. Los Santos changes you. And it became clearer where Chris’ life was headed. He removed the Editor-In-Chief badge from his pocket and stared at it for a moment before putting it back, a bittersweet smile adorning his face. Hard work got him this piece of metal. How long would it still be with him? It took a lot of convincing for him to agree to a meeting with Charlie at the Noodle House, considering he had no criminal experience besides buying too many guns and occasionally spying from his roof in Paleto. But he needed something new. He was tired of seeing his friends get hurt and mistreated and decided he could not sit around any longer, watching it happen. He chuckled as he remembered how nervous he was walking up to the restaurant, though the nervousness faded as the talking began. It did not feel like a recruitment interview; this was a lighthearted conversation between friends. The next day, he got ready for his life with a new family. He put his badge down in the Weazel News office and left before he could even think about picking it back up again. A new chapter was about to begin and he was ready, though something became apparent very quickly: This life was not for him. After days and weeks of feeling like he did not fit in, he decided to put down the mask. “I want to end my trial.” Just as quickly as he had joined the gang, it seemed as if he was ready to leave, though a couple of days later, fate would change again for Chris. Charlie had a proposal for him that would allow him to stay in the family and let him continue doing what he was good at. “Why don’t you become our first Golden Panda?” Chris’ eyes lit up as she explained the role to him. The legal face to the organization, tasked to provide a cover for what was going on behind the scenes. It was perfect. He could go back to Weazel as a manager, while keeping a spot within the family. It was the best choice he ever made. He reminisced about the first car meet they put on, the first opening of the Noodle House, the numerous other events and started laughing. Snapping back into reality, he had one last thought on his mind: The best was yet to come.
