“Smarter criminals” - Criminals are already attempting to be as smart as possible with the large amount of PD in the city ontop of that when we get into a shootout with PD the risk of us losing a heavy weapon we paid for and getting jail time + fines is sometimes not worth the reward. We have to be smarter than PD to ensure we don’t end up getting charged and lose our stuff. ”Flee for small warrants” - they are most likely fleeing due to the fact they could have a unlicensed firearm or a heavy on them which they don't wanna get charged for ontop of their Reckless or whatever, I’ve evaded myself for this exact reason. ”Shooting cops over traffic violations” - there is usually more to it than simply just shooting over a 2nd degree ticket, the guy could be heavily wanted from beforehand and they would be going for a longer time than expected, or it could all stem from the over aggressiveness PD tends to show towards bystanders which results in them getting mad at PD and killing them. I’ve had this convo with many different cops who all agree that there is a small amount of cops who are literally the reason why shootouts breakout because they feel they can push around one guy and it leads to them getting shot. (I am not bashing PD by saying this, I am just referring to the group of bad eggs that always ruin the image of a faction.) ”Organised crime” - I mean most organised crime within the city right now is hitting stores and cooking at labs with a group of people.

In order to get 6 hours you gotta do alot more than a few small crimes, i got 5.5 (with VIP mind you) from 3 accessory to murders, illegal firearm and a few other charges. The cap with people who get charges like that should easily be risen to 3-4 hours as its a more serious crime.

Care to elaborate on why you are against it?

-1 take an extra 2 minutes and drive to parking lot or your house. Realistically you wouldn’t just leave your car at your workplace you would drive home afterwards.

+1 last thing I expected was PD to be for the cap again, I agree with essentially all of your guys points, especially with the one about how more serious crimes could possibly end up longer than the cap due to the severity, the last two times I was caught on serious charges resulted in 5.5hour sentences which essentially resulted in me asking to be locked in a cell so I didn’t have to be punched every 2 minutes or have someone running around screaming.

I said “some” because I have only experienced a small amount of cops (1-5) abusing the IDs in MDC. A small amount of abuse is still annoying when it happens to you ya know

-1 this will just end up with some cops abusing this like it happens with running IDs through the MDC, whilst we all know it is MG and is not allowed it still happens.

This is just a weird irrelevant point I don’t see how this is useful to the suggestion at hand. Most “gangs” themselves may be collectively millionaires, but the individuals inside them are not. We still pay for our own stuff. 40k is alot of money for people to splash out ontop of the chance of losing a heavy weapon which was 20k+ alone. The point to it is the same as PD no? Protect us from gsw’s, knives etc. Reducing it for how much it is to 15k is literally nothing especially when one punch and it is already gone when its 1/4 of what PD gets for free. That’s the point of the thread, to either get it reduced in price OR more armour for the price, either way it will still not be used as much as you think cause spending 20k for some armour that can be lost when you take any sort of damage is still too much to be spending for most crims.

+1 If stamps were easier to get/poker table was lowered for entry I feel as if it would give people more ways to pass time besides essentially standing in a cell or just fighting each other.

Drags arent the problem. BF400s are 24k or whatever stock and go 200+ on highway with a wheelie. I don't see why cops always NEED to be able to keep up with crims. 1 Bike thats fast isnt gonna make a difference when essentially most/all bikes can hit the same speeds with a wheelie. PD has the same if not more than what most Crims have access to.
