+1 I (very rarely) alias the wrong person. It will force me to do /alias [ID] Stranger1, 2, 3, etc. When I do that, I will still sort of recognize the person as the person I've seen sometime, but I don't know their name. An option to reset an alias wouldn't do any harm in my opinion and actually help sometimes.

If this can be combined with the animation of actually grabbing your phone, sure! Currently, grabbing your phone also puts your weapon away (wich I like). In LSPD I also see people doing /b [number] in chat as they need a number of their MDC, but there is no way to have the MDC open while putting in the number and you can not paste numbers in the current system.

+1 Maybe also chance the current physics a little. I feel like that if seatbelts will be added that we should be able to fly out of cars faster now as currently you have to crash pretty hard before you fly out, so seatbelts won't do that much now.

+1 I sure like the idea, but I am wondering if/how this can be made possible. I did find this: https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Television_in_GTA_V In here it states it indeed is possible to control TV's when seated and being able to watch TV while not having to sit infront of it. I would love to see this as I already loved the speakers. I think this would be a fun addition if possible.

+1! Its been that way for a while now. You can't even walk while smoking now, but maybe have cigs added to general stores so people just won't have them randomly? Then it would be basically the same idea as blunts, just for normal cigs. PS. what happend to /anim notes Would love to have that one working aswell.

Hello! I think many people are aware of the fact that masks are a well known thing in ECRP. If I use the search option on the forum alone and type in "mask", I already get 1,934 results. I've seen new players asking if certain stuff was normal, for example: - People driving like crazy in the city - People wearing masks everywhere, even in banks Now the people driving issue is already being taken care of by implementing speed camera's. In this post I would like to focus more on the masks thing. Now many people already made suggestions about adding rules regarding the use of masks on the server. It only took me 1 minute to find these 2 already by @Astrox and @CaesarSeizure: These suggestions started to make me thinking a while ago. As I consider myself as a really active player, I see a lot happening on the server and I realize it is quite crazy that wearing masks became sort of normal while I think it is not realistic, mainly wearing them around banks. Even when arresting people as a member of LSPD it is quite rare you will see someone without a mask. What I think the issue is, is basically metagaming. It is metagaming using someone's ID/player tag IC. IRL you know someone by face, voice and behaviour. You won't see someone wearing a tag 24/7 with their name that you gave them. I do realize in GTA it's harder to tell people appart due to the limit of clothing, hairstyles, etc, but I believe the main issue why people wear masks is that they get recognized way too easy. I even caught myself wearing masks in cars or on bikes while having a helmet on, pure because I get recognized so fast sometimes. It feels like wearing a masks technically makes it more realistic, because thats the only way people can not just identify you by tag's. I remember when I was fairly new to the server a year ago. I didn't even know the /alias command existed for easily a month if no longer and I can tell, it was quite possible to just remember people. I started thinking about server suggestions, but not just rules that say you can't wear masks in NCZ's (which I indeed think should be considered poor RP and unrealistic). It is quite hard to do something with player tags since they are also being used to identify people OOC (player reports for example), so that is why I opened this discussion: - Is why I think so many people wear masks (even while not commiting crimes) true? - What could be a possible solution if you think something should change? Possible things where I thought about, which I still think are not the solution for this: - Add "Player ID" to CTRL + X and remove tags completely - Make the range of player ID's/alias shorter in general - Make the range of player ID's/alias shorter in general + even shorter when someone is in a car - Make people only have ID's and no aliases anymore

There is no maximum time you can spend on PD. You will need to spend +50% on your PD character/on duty. (I know, 1 page actually states character and an other PD page states on duty), but just simply: most of your time. You also need to spend atleast 5 hours a week on duty. This is because many people would like to join PD and they don't want to have spots reserved if you going to spend most of your time on an other character anyway. I believe MD has the same; +50%. Its hard to tell what the activity of factions is for multiple reasons: - Time zones - People's life OOC (school, work, vacation) - Its also sort of IC What I mean with its also sort of IC is that this info of employment of the factions is something IC. Their activity (playtime) is something OOC for some part. I think your question is more aiming towards an IC question though... Most factions only put apps open when actually needed. There is also a money system that sometimes doesn't even allow extra employees. No one is gonna hire 100 employees and pay all of them while they only need 10. Thats also one of the reasons factions got treasuries. Basically, you probably just have to experience it and find out In-character how balanced it is. Just check the mechanic shops here and there. If you want to know for OOC reasons how many employees every faction has, you can find it on your pannel: Just remember this is OOC and this does not indicate how active people are. People can also be in 2 factions. Also about crime hotspots: If there is a standard location where it is know criminal activities are active, PD is not allowed to camp there or just check it withouth having any calls/chases leading to it. We can not just check all the chopshops and drug labs, only if we have a call near it, someone leads us to it, etc. Hope this helps!

Reminds me of this suggestion: But I think I still have the same opinion as on that suggestion. Re-spawning is also not something that supports good/realistic RP imo, it will create more like a GTA minigame vibe. Though, I would love to see activities civilians can do with more interaction between eachother.

+1 on bigger radius for /park. I don't think another NCZ is needed. Just as suggested many times before, more scripted parkings.

+1 Though I have to say, driving 200 in those barricades IRL will get you killed. Or the Comet Retro with 240 (which I am pretty certain of that he is using the speed glitch since mine doesn't go that fast, but that's a different topic). They are also mostly used to make sure no busses with new players mass VDM scenes like that as people claim terrible loading times and not seeing our cruisers, but I think this is not the first topic about the barriers. Barrier (the normal one) should be used instead barrier2 imo.

As you state what PD pulls out per day, which is not even close to what they actually do. You need to be a certain rank for certain weapons, you need to apply for them, you need training. Something else I mentioned was the unrealistic amount of crime (which also related to my ride along g suggestion). I don't know what's more realistic, having more crime because of lack of budget, or less crime and more 'money' for PD to enforce this so we don't have to blow up the island before it even escalates more. But I am sure we are not on the same line, which is fine. -

Those were implemented for other reasons. The only relation between those and PD is that you have to pay them at PD. Pretty unrealistic to drive 150+ in a 70 zone that's also a NCZ isn't it? Maybe apply for a ride along maybe then you understand how LSEMS work. The crime in the city is just unrealistic, how high it is now. If people start to use arguments like "They already nerfed it once"... I am not sure what they expect of projects IRL.. it's called tweaking. And appersntly the tweak want good enough. -
+1 They don't disappear though, they go straight in your weaponwheel. The only flaw is that you can't drop it from there as it will notify you that you can't drop it because "it is not your weapon"

+1! But I think the command should be restricted: it only should be available when the big towtruck (/fspawn towtruck) is in close range of a vehicle that needs to be flipped. So not the smaller one.

Everything can be used as a weapon. In prison you can't even have shoes with laces sometimes as you can do harm to yourself or others with those. If you speed over 150 its reckless operation. Since you will be in a cell we cant have any items of you in there aswell. They mostly use "evidence" to sort of give it away they can not store it and it will be going somewhere else then in a locker to get it back after. There is no system to support evidence actually. What I mean by that is that we can not store items bound on names to get it back to the owner after they processed their time. We also have limited space to store, we can't store due to bug exploids, we can barely keep track of every person's stuff as a lot of items are similar and many more things. We RP putting rifles in the armory, but all the items (yes, also rifles) should be deleted by putting them in our cruiser and /delcruiser them to make them dissapear. This is mainly for the bug exploid reason and to keep enough space clear to carry other stuff. I actually think it would be a good server suggestion to add a command to a certain room in PD to DOC where you can bound a locker to a players name/ID and you can put the stuff in there the person will get back after the jail time is up automatically. +1 Who wouldn't like some prison RP! I think this is a great idea to just not have people TP out instant. I actually had some situation where the TP'ing was sort of taking IC by hearing something like: "If your sentence was over, you would have been outside with your clothes no matter what". If we can combine with with the RP of guards, I would be very happy actually. -
