  1. +1, could also be cool for investigation RP
  2. No. You have the Comet and the Comet Retro. In the past, you were able to buy both Comet and Comet Retro from dealerships, just like a normal vehicle now. But, you were also able to buy them from the credits shop (F6). So you had 2 options: actually buying it with IC money or buying it with credits, meaning it would be bound to your character and you can't sell it. A while ago, the Comet Retro got removed from both credit store and dealerships (probably mostly due to the speed glitch and overal speed). This left the Comet behind, still being available in dealerships and credit stores. TL;DR The Comet and Comet Retro are two total seperate models and can not be converted to the other.
  3. Not too sure. The Sultan RS was a vehicle that was available long ago, so some people where able to buy it with actual IC money. Then, together with all other super cars, it got removed from dealerships. Similair with the Comet Retro now. I think because its not an OP car and it has nice customization, it was added again for a while. Who knows we will see something in the future with an other vehicle!
  4. Ofcourse, Eclipse is doing their best to improve your experience. I believe yenoH is right and some times the start can be rough. After a while, you will meet more and more people who are more into the roleplay and will give you a good time. A big wave of new players also requires a lot of patience as they mostly new to RP and they need to learn. TL;DR: Have patience, meet people, use /goodrp & /badrp! Best of luck!
  5. I believe going more than twice over the speed limit is good enough for a reckless charge. Not to mention it already got changed to only 10 minutes jailtime if charged by the camera because camera's are more lickely to stack charges. At the end, its a no crime zone and going 80 more then allowed is just waaaay too fast in a NCZ In my opinion. Also, you do get notified on your phone if you speed. I feel like some people just still need to get used to it to not drive reckless in NCZ's, because this was also a reason why they are added. Just to stop making people drive so fast in heavy populated area's where people get killed by desync.
  6. No. Once bought with credits they are bound to the character you bought them with.
  7. I understand and I have indeed figured out it is allowed. However, that was actually the issue. I didn't see the red flags. I looked in the rule book, where it was stated actions considered crimes could not be commited in a NCZ. Since I wanted to be sure, I asked a staff member of Eclipse. That person also told me it is not allowed to scam in a NCZ. So instead of red flags I only got green flags. Now in my previous comment I also clarified that having scamming removed from a NCZ is not what I am looking for. It would be awesome to have atleast SOME way to retrieve scammed assets.
  8. So what I make up out of these comments: - Rules should be updated more in the rule book in general instead of only announced in different channels (the new 48 hours report time is a good example aswell). I honestly can't imagine how new players should be aware of this. Only after they have learned the hard way. - It needs to be possible that assets can be taken if they got lost due to scams as the current "punishment" is not even doing anything against that. Which in my opinion is 100% what I am looking for. I wasn't really looking to get scamming banned from NCZ's, but the fact that there is absolute nothing you can do after hurts.
  9. Here I found a great example.

    Gender Changes

Correct, there are a ton. However, there is a huge amount does care. Apperantly also care enough to take it OOC. Maybe some CK menu? With pretty much all other suggestions that are made in the past for CK included? So a menu where you can change name and pretty much you can make a new character? Even changing gender.

Last thing I want to add on this topic; that is not 100% true. We even pay for the GPS trackers that comes with each cruiser. Also; If people are aware of similair suggestions in the past, why is this being oppened again? I believe its being said you should check if there is a similair suggestion made already.
  12. I remember having /rvv (radio voice volume) indeed, which.. partly worked? I am slightly concerned that this could be abused though. Being only able to lower volume could indeed be abused aswell. Same like the speakers now. Or maybe only for radio.... But a general volume button for all radio traffic comming in? As that would be an actual function of a radio IRL. I am actually quite curious why /rvv got removed, but I also understand that it is not the most realistic. I indeed encoutered many people who blow up my head and the best thing to do is asking if they can lower their volume, gain, level, etc. That way, everyone get equal results.
  13. Atleast it's fair you can appeal. Permanent isn't always that permanent. I see this from 2 sides though. The fact this is so strict, probably makes you very cautious. If you made a mistake, you can sometimes even solve it with the opposite party that has been affected by you to prevent forum reports. Personally, I have requested to drop reports in the past as soon as I found out that the people that I report know that they were wrong. I don't always see the added value of having someone punished if they know what went wrong. Yes this is strict, but it affects mostly other playes quite a bit when broken. I do have the say, I do not agree on the idea having punishments cleared from your record. You already get a second change on that specific rule before you get permanent banned (which isn't always that permanent like I said). So this doesn't necessarily include breaking other rules aswell. I hope most people are well aware of the Deathmatch rules and I think basically the best solution is just.. Prevent breaking them. I believe having to appeal after breaking such rule 2 times, meaning it happend for a second time while you actually got punished for it before, is pretty fair. You will have to prove you understand what you did wrong. Now I am not saying I would never break rules in my life. Atleast, not intentionally and mistakes can happen, but breaking 1 rule 2 times does require some effort in proving you have learned in my opinion. Regardless of the time that passed. That is atleast how I see it.

    The Rooks

★★★★✩ (4/5) Hard to find a parking spot at La Spada. I also believe there is some sort of black car dress code? Security was friendly, but slightly scary though... Everyone was well suited in full black. Although I didn't came to eat, the area is nice and the people were nice. Can recommend. Maybe 5 stars next time if I am able to taste some of the food.

What does that have to do with this situation? How does my assets affect my position within PD?

Haha nice Haven't done any other jobs in ages honestly. Back to the topic though; I think something goes wrong IC if you do not earn that much as a PO1. Also, dont expect criminal life to be easy. Its not all about money anyway. Its RP. I honestly don't care if I get arrested if the RP is great. Even PD would really appreciate good RP, not to mention it motivates. No matter if you are a criminal.

This is not true. If their radio is taken, they are not allowed to talk in TS. If they do, they metagame.

20K in 4 hours isn't bad though xD Legal work means taxes.... I wonder what you think what a PO1 earns, but I guess thats something IC actually.

    Bring back Snow !

I like the idea. Last time to be honest was too long in my opinion. Since the time is around 4 times faster on the server then in IRL, I think there should be 4 periods a year where it snows though. For a couple of days. Not just 1 long period of snow. Anyway, I also really like your idea already.
  20. This is indeed what I mean. Once the scam is done, you can't do anything back. You are in a NCZ, you can't force others to take money out of an ATM, where Police can't do anything. They can only fine them for scamming, which isn't even close most of the time to what they scammed.
  21. Glad to see an unique faction like this! Would love to see this grown even more! PS. would love to see photo's about the RP you guys do
  22. There has been a similair suggestion in the past I believe. For now, I don't think its needed.
  23. I am not saying I don't know my neighborhood, this is not only for me. It's mainly because of SD having people with the same callsign, which will clutter radio traffic asking what the backup is for, which isn't even ours. + The MDC itself doesn't state locations, only /calls, which not always appear of not responded
  24. Heya, Since the SD is introduced, we already got informed that the map is basically now seperated in 2 pieces for the PD and SD. Up north is SD's area and the City is PD's area. I both SD and PD still gets both calls, no matter where they are located. What I think should be a good idea is to have calls from Blaine County only Appear for SD and the calls made in the City only appear for PD. Actually, similair how PD can't see calls from MD, but still being able to respond them if we know the call number from them. The same should probably be done for Backup calls, since I noticed there are actually some units in SD that have the same callsign as some in PD. This will keep it more organized in my opinion. It's similair how it works in my Country, where you get in contact with a control room of the City you are in and if needed, they can contact other City's. Let me know what you think.
