MrWonanother Posted November 1, 2020 Report Posted November 1, 2020 I am proposing a change to the way that gunshot wounds are dealt with on the server currently if you get shot there is no real downfall to it other than to drink some water eat some food and slowly regenerate your health, pop a painkiller to regenerate that last bit of your health back to full and go on about your business as if nothing happened. I would like to see a change that if you are shot you'll have to use some bandages or gauze that you can get by ripping up a T-shirt or an item of clothing you have on yourself and patching up your wounds for yourself this slows the bleeding but does not stop it if you do not patch your wounds you will slowly lose more and more blood this being represented by your health points slowly depleting the longer you leave your gunshot wound exposed & the only way to stop bleeding out is to have MD treat you & remove the bullet(s) this would allow some RP inside the hospital as well as expand the RP for people who are downed in a gunfight. So this change would implement a small amount of self-treatment & the ability to rip up clothing to act as a make shift gauze. However, to counteract this from being used in shootouts there could be a restriction that would not allow you to patch yourself up for 3-5 minutes while in an active gunfight and timed by time you were last shot in /analyzewounds & furthermore to this would not regenerate more health until the bullets are removed. If anyone wishes to expand on this further please post your suggestion below Regards, MrWonanother. 1 16 Quote
HobGoblin Posted November 1, 2020 Report Posted November 1, 2020 +1, this will bring more RP to situations. Quote
WinterBlack Posted November 1, 2020 Report Posted November 1, 2020 +1 would definitely be nice to have more of a rp opportunity to remove bullets and such Quote
AnnoyingOne Posted November 1, 2020 Report Posted November 1, 2020 I think that you should be able to stop your bleeding during a shootout, but you should be locked with a timer and animation and it would only stop your bleeding, no health regeneration. Quote

I could agree to this so long as the timer is 30-45 seconds. 1 Quote
bastianguzman1 Posted November 1, 2020 Report Posted November 1, 2020 +1, stupid if this won't be added actually Quote
true03 Posted November 1, 2020 Report Posted November 1, 2020 +1 Great idea, I would love to see this introduced Quote
KimeyBear101 Posted November 3, 2020 Report Posted November 3, 2020 +1 This could really help with RP and allow more response if MD are busy or unavailable! Quote
Aaron Martin Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 +1 I think with the RP you should be able to extract the bullet from a person the same way you can from a car, as long as you are on MD duty. 1 Quote
Xoza Posted November 6, 2020 Report Posted November 6, 2020 Self treatment should be a thing, in some form. Because simply FearRP, you would do anything at that point, not to die... Quote
CaesarSeizure Posted December 22, 2020 Report Posted December 22, 2020 +1 This would be a good change, as it stands right now, getting injured and barely surviving are completely different, when in reality, you would be far more likely to succumb to your wounds if not treated. Causing GSWs or Stab wounds to apply a bleed effect on you that could only be temporarily treated by yourself or others would be a big plus in how people act and would promote more RP than just popping painkillers. KiaNNoX Posted December 22, 2020 Report Posted December 22, 2020 +1, that would make the situation more realistic Quote
alexalex303 Posted December 29, 2020 Report Posted December 29, 2020 Anything that provides more repercussions for getting injured/shot/killed is something worth considering. +1 Quote
Aus1TV Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 +1 Great Idea I think this would add much more rp Quote
