As someone that centers my gameplay to civilian RP, and have a million ideas I'd love to support other civ RPers with, this is MAJOR +1 Being able to have even a few options would be great. Implement things that are specifically for civ RPers, but don't take away from crim or gov faction RP! A lot of updates have centered around LEO or crim RP, with some being able to be done by civ players. There's a lot of jokes made when big updates like the archeology and bus updates came out where it was gonna be a hotspot to be robbed. So I think if some activities can be implemented where players don't have to begrudgingly deal with being harassed, trolled, or just straight up solo grinding would be a good place to start. Something universally needed, and something that would motivate everyone not to ruin because it benefits them. Another thing I would thing would be cool to see with development of these ideas is devs partnering with players who are invested in the long term RP of their development. For example, if the idea of civ gardening mechanics are being considered, reach out to players that have a high interest in that RP and can be trusted to follow through long term with it. Choose a player or two that you feel can lead the RP side of this. ICly, it can be introduced as an environmental or agricultural initiative the government is funding to support San Andreas. In this they are bringing in Person A (the chose player(s)) and sponsoring the purchasing of a shop and it's initial supplies to get started. Staying IC, the sponsored owner of the shop would have to submit reports to the government to help track sales of the items. To include more players and RP interactions, have this partnered with a player(s) that are good with event RP and in charge of organizing market days where items grown from supplies from the garden shop can be sold. The same market would invite other established businesses to sell their goods (diners, cafes, resturaunts, artists, etc). Hold it monthly to start so gauge demand. Again, the person leading the market RP would provide a report on the success of it. So many amazing business/RP ideas get abandoned so quickly, and there's so many reasons for this and not all of them can be solved. But I think partnering with players on a small and vetted manner could help kickstart some really cool dynamics in the server.

I think the ease of abuse and salary farming is why things are so "strict" for Burgershot. I know it can get very discouraging when you are RPing solo for hours in Burgershot with no customers or just in-n-out orders. But there are ways to also make it interesting. You have the food prep for one, there's the panims you can use to be outside in an interesting way, like carrying trash out or washing the windows. You can also try to drum up business by using Weazel or Lifeinvader to promote it being open.

-1 there is already too many houses people purchase and just use for garage space. Just taking up the house from others wanting to actually wanting to do house RP like gardening, hanging out in the yard, interior decorating, cooking food, etc.

+1 to all the options. One of my characters would clean WAY more graffitti if she could eithe reuse her rags, or they were cheaper. I like the idea of them being reusable with a cleaning script.

OMG YES!! I've only had to RP being a prisoner at DOC once and it was so boring. I'd LOVE to RP cooking or anything that encourages using hat is already in the server. There's already a yard, so why not put incentives folks to use it!

It would be nice to have that function. However, I just request the ad IC. Never had a negative response from Weszel for submitting the scripted request! Not sure it helps with traffic, but I also can't say it hurt either.

+1 on all this, especially Eliza's links. I would also encourage people, as long as they can follow the meta and mixing rules, to feel free to let that player know if you enjoy their roleplay. I personally love to tell people when I like their RP. I fangirl over good RPers in the server!

While this would be a huge help to have it raised. It may not be something that can be changed, it may be a limitation. However, if that is the case, I would be interested in making a guide for posting on Lifeinvader. That way it has those sizes and how to adjust them to make them work. I know I had to do a lot of resizing and stuff for Weazel posts.

I can completely get behind a lot of this and was going to say some of the same things. I love the updates made to some of the freelancing jobs. I'd love to see more focus on that sort of QOL. I have three characters, one that was in a gov job and retired, a Weazel employee, and a unemployed girl. Having the official factions with weekly limits is great for consistency and health of factions. However, I would love to see more attention put towards updates on non faction related activities, like they have with the freelance jobs. I would love to be able to have more freedom in the types of businesses you can own. I'm not sure how feasible it is, but being able to have more variety in types of shops. For example, I saw a plant/garden shop space that had an interior, but I don't believe it was a property available. It would be so cool to see variety of shops/goods. A garden shop could be used to sell innocently legal items like pots, dirt, tools, seeds, etc. If we could garden in the server, this would serve as a way for civs to do something different and fun. But it also can be used by crims that need these supplies for their growing needs. Personally owned food trucks that can have custom liveries for businesses can be used for events. Hire a business like Al Dentes, Aunt Doughs, Cool Beans, etc and have them bring their own branded truck to the event and sell their food. On another theme, more props. Again, I am not sure how feasible any of this is as far as making it happen, but I loved the addition of the prop anims and sitting. If there was even an addition to that. Personally I can see my girls using the following: using a hammer to build something, hanging animation for pictures/posters (especially for Weazel who hangs posters all the time), cooking/prepping food (cutting, scarping, scooping on the countertop), gift box or envelope for giving cards or gifts to others. Not sure if dufflebags are the only ways to have those type of accessories to hold things, but if they could look different too for variety (ie backpack, fannypack, etc). For ped models, I don't mind the options for the characters I've created, but I know a lot of people would like to have variations in bodies so they can be skinny, overweight, muscular, etc. I'd personally love to see more tattoo options...but that's just cause I love tattoos. More feminine, ones with color, abstract, ones would be nice.

Tents could be super fun! Especially if there are scripts that limit where they can be placed so it's not a hinderance to the community (ie headquarters, roads, sidewalks, etc.) I wonder if it's something that could be bought, set up and despawned after you log out. Like vehicles that despawn when you log out.

I would love to have a gardening element. My girls would go WILD for gardening in the server! I can see so much RP for myself. But I am not sure if others would be interested.
