Isn't the DL on fake license random though? So having to type it out gives higher chance that officer will look into it more if they miss types?

Even as someone that plays on 30 or so ping, I have to press space early to hit the zone, add that with the fact that sometimes it takes a second or so for the next stage to appear, throwing you off the balance. The whole picklocking skill check should be changed where you do fewer checks, but with longer "idle" times in between. So you are still picklocking for the same duration, but less skill checks which are fps/ping dependent. Also if you do it with lesser checks, you can do multiple types of checks, one is where the bar is slowly moving and then few fast ones so there is still challenge to picklocking (cheap cars don't have as many fast checks, expensive ones have more of them)

PD and SD don't actively share a radio freq. That was a experiment for one weekend where PD and SD operated as a joint faction. Due to a various feedback, both internally from PD/SD and externally from other factions, this has been put on the sidelines. As for stop and search, Officers doing so have a probable cause. And just a note, any officer can ask you to step out of your vehicle, not just GND. If you are being asked to step out, that doesn't mean you are being searched.

Mate this is a PD thread, I know that some people have a hard time differentiating that PD and SD is not the same, so I will just let you know that SD is not PD

Cap server FPS to 120 or add a 220 Speed cap
AnnoyingOne replied to Jay_Valentino's topic in Game Suggestions
Not really though. Higher fps nowadays only means that there is less jumps as someone moves between frames. Actual game bugs due to high fps are rare though. It used to be a thing in the past, where animations or physics were tied to frames, but nowadays every engine gives you instructions how to tie the physics, etc to a fixed timer instead of a fps one. -
Cap server FPS to 120 or add a 220 Speed cap
AnnoyingOne replied to Jay_Valentino's topic in Game Suggestions
Bala was talking about different thing. High fps will make you go to 240, but it won't make you go faster than 240, which is what Bala was replying too Unless when it was bugged, the 240 km/h speed cap holds. As someone who has high fps, I am in support of this if it was doable, or lowering the speed cap so that other vehicles are viable -
Cap server FPS to 120 or add a 220 Speed cap
AnnoyingOne replied to Jay_Valentino's topic in Game Suggestions
Wrong. this is very easily done using RageMP's own Server console on the Dev's side with a simple command. This is not possible, the only options RAGE MP has for player stuff is via Server config. But these options dont apply to this scenario max-ping Maximum Ping accepted for the server min-fps Minimum FPS required for the server max-packet-loss Maximum Packet loss accepted in the server Now, you could essentially write a script, that would calculate the frametime and add calculated pauses in the game to artifically lower the FPS, but that would be unreliable -
Cap server FPS to 120 or add a 220 Speed cap
AnnoyingOne replied to Jay_Valentino's topic in Game Suggestions
Sadly this isn't possible easily via script. There is a way to minimize the effect of high fps on vehicles, but not completely mitigate it and I believe that is the way the server should go. -
As I understand it, the idea is that there is actually consequences to losing ability to order as a faction or not making alliances to get the weapons you want. If a faction gets to a certain rank that allows them go import X gun, they import 1000 of them and then go down the path of lesser RP standards that IFM wants them too, they lose access to order the gun, but the 1000 guns would still be available. With the decay system, that stash slowly deteriorates.

i just lost 1000s of euros of credits :(

But your cars are unaffected. There is nothing different about your cars. You had to pay for mods before, you have to pay for mods now. -
Figure out a way to bring back private labs
AnnoyingOne replied to Demonmit1's topic in Criminal Suggestions
Okay, but private labs won't bring people back. This is just a delusion of a man who wants to have private labs back -
Make cops lootable or get rid of the despawn script.
AnnoyingOne replied to Demonmit1's topic in Game Suggestions
There are two sides to the coin. If cops have nothing to lose, some of them might rambo more when shit hits the fan, but the cops are overall reactive to the situation happening to them. If cops do have something to lose, they will escalate situations sooner, because if they let it get to the point where they have to go rambo, they are losing money so they will do anything to prevent that from happening. And you honestly don't want the 2nd scenario, neither you want to fund cops from arrests/citations, as that gives incentive for cops to use everything in their disposal against you -
The fact that you are saying this, shows how little knowledge of how stuff actually works you have. Believe it or not, but Terminus is actually slower than Scout and PD Kamacho is actually worse than civilian one

new FearRP changes is confusing people.
AnnoyingOne replied to Demonmit1's topic in Implemented Suggestions
People were also focusing on one part of the rule, instead of taking the whole rule as is. As it's clearly written still in the rule that you still can't run while at gunpoint, but people pick and choose stuff to understand and follow. This is a full on reading comprehension failure on the part of our players, which would imply our player base is stupid, or they intentionally decided to try and play the rules. -

Video of it https://streamable.com/zypb7y Its flaky, the solution is to make it so that /cuff does the same minigame as SHIFT+E

I don't ask in /do, unless I want a specific answer. The issue is that if we do ask in /do or in /b the RP goes through sooner. I usually just wait the 30 seconds that they have to RP, and then do my action Certain people intentionally wait till the last seconds of said 30 seconds and if you do any action before that, you will be reported on the forums. So to be safe and not get reported, people just do /do or wait 30 seconds It sucks for everyone involved, but staff is to be blamed here
-
I also find it stupid that I would have to type "attempts", it's given that if I am RPing with someone, any action I can do is an attempt, it's just unnecessary. As for when someone can do a forceful action or not, even if you have 20 cops on someone in your example, they still resist. Every action should be resistable unless your character is in a state where they can't resist. (Knocked out, injured, restrained (but even here they can partially resist) )

No need to spread misinformation. Rage is not owned by Rockstar/T2. They are just following the guidelines set forward by Rockstar so that they do not get any action taken against them. As for the actual mods, pretty sure that server offers all/most of the customizations you can do to vehicles. If something is lacking it's because the actual vehicle model is missing it, not because server developers didn't implement it.
