What point are you even responding to? Lots of change has happened and will continue to happen due to constructive feedback from community members. Lack of transparency in actions resulting in assumed intent was one of the most common themes I have seen in the feedback that I personally have control over so I wanted to make a move on that. Very confused with the intent of your response.

A lot of issues I see with PD/Crim interactions stem from a lack of knowledge of policy/protocol due to a lack of transparency on PD's side. As such, I have sent out an announcement today to promote PD members to be more transparent in their reasoning for their actions. I do not want my faction members to blindly say "Go to IA" or "It's IC" etc moving forward - if you genuinely feel something went wrong be that IC or OOC, you should be able to ask for the justification for action without being turned away still wondering why something happened. Example: A player is pulled out of their vehicle at what appears to be a standard traffic stop. If this player feels this is too much and asks why this is happening, they should be able to ask IC or OOC why this happened. The PD member should then take the time to respond and explain something such as "It is a specific gang policy due to your recent violent charges". The goal of this is to reduce the toxic assumption cycle and also give everyone a platform to report misconduct with a factual foundation. I appreciate that if you do not know the content of the manual and the policies within, you may not know if something was wrong and if someone should be held accountable. This is hopefully a step towards my end-goal of enjoyable interactions with all regardless of IC outcome.

This is a very good idea and allows all individuals who may have day to day impairments to feel included in the community without the anxiety of having to explain their difficulties in OOC chat for every interaction they have. This has been forwarded to the founders for final review - thank you for this suggestion! -
I receive a lot of complaints, typically about our OTF faction... On a serious note, I think my feedback is very simple - embrace the system set up by Risk and her team for criminal groups to focus on roleplay and lore. Assets and money should come secondary to roleplay enjoyment and value - I appreciate that is a big mentality change, but the system Risk developed allows for a healthy mix of both. The only other thing I would suggest is simply to slow down and consider the impact of your actions/reactions on other players. We need others to RP with, so make them look back on the interaction with a smile on their face, not wishing they avoided ever bumping into you - even when it's a bad IC outcome.

Or perhaps they're more creative with their thinking instead of looking at everything black and white hoping to have "roleplay" handed to them on a silver platter. Prison improvements are coming, but the experience will only improve if players are willing to (hear me out, I know it's crazy...) roleplay!

Hey, So to conclude this, we have implemented a system that ensures players are aware of why they are muted. No longer will you be left asking questions of why you may be muted and having to message multiple staff to get an answer. Also, timeouts are appealable but we ask that you only appeal timeouts of 1 day or longer unless you feel the issuing staff member did so maliciously or incorrectly in which case you can either appeal or message myself or another member of Admin Management to review it fully. Staff members will be required to give proper reasoning for timeouts also and follow guidelines that are in place. Thank you for the suggestion!

Firstly, appreciate the feedback and response. I can't say I have noticed it personally. I was under the impression it was actually less than it used to be. If you have any examples of misuse of this tactic then please forward some context and evidence and I'll review it. But like @AnnoyingOne said, if they are getting you out for a search etc, then it is done with probable cause so I'd assume there is more context, and if not it would potentially be misconduct that should be reported. I have no say over SD and their operation/tactics. But I do appreciate the positive feedback about PD. We also enjoy the chases and we see no value to anyone by ending them prematurely. The ironic thing is, very few people in PD actually enjoy the arrest procedure, so it benefits everyone to be more open to leniency and less escalating. If you have any evidence, or further context, please report this as it is not something we stand for and if this is happening it should be addressed. The casefiles exist for MNC and they are actively updated. The majority of members in GND are not in MNC and do not have criminal alts.
