  1. This comes back to the fact that Crim RP will cease to exist, as per now, whenever a gang holds a lab they are bound to get rolled up on by Metro and DB, I can assure you I am not the only one who feels this way. Thay is why I am saying that something needs to change.
  2. My point being that if this is a rule then it is obviously not been followed since detectives have been seen just rolling around labs because there are cars in the area.
  3. This comes back to the fact that Crim RP is becoming nearly unplayable right now. I am not sure of the OOC rules that have been placed with the new update, but what I've been told is that LEO's can "Randomly" stumble upon labs now. If this is true then it makes no sense at all, since everyone OOCly know's where all the labs are. I have recently returned to crim RP after a long time of LEO RP with my character in SD and I have to say that the 2 times I have been at a lab, PD have just rolled through it. Now I dont know if this was done "randomly" or someone made a 911 call or detectives were just undercover in the area. As for the "Crim baiting". This is a thing that a lot of LEO characters do. It's like John said, it can be to order someone out of their car to scare them and make them evade, since you OOCly know they have a gun inside. Or it can be beefing people inside a lab while undercover. The point being, crim baiting is very common and happens daily. Another thing I have noticed is since there are no NPC's in Eclipse, whenever there is an increase in cars driving around a lab, Cops just place themselves near the lab, because they OOCly know that illegal stuff is happening nearby. I would like to see a change, where there is actually a proper reason to go into a lab, and I don't want to hear, It's IC, becuase its affected a lot of crim's OOCly along with me.
  4. First and foremost, the argument saying that you lose everything if you get discharged bears no weight when you can be reinstated back to your former rank, in the same divisions, people recognize you by your voice, and you hang out with the same people. The only thing you lose then is that everyone has to Alias you again. I don't think that cops care about their assets as it has no value for them because they can never use them. Relationships and knowledge can easily be obtained pretty quickly. Secondly, it is not necessary to compare crims vs cops all the time, I just did it to give an overview of the situation. I still believe that it's an easy way out to just OOCly transfer, within the next day of your discharge. As for what @Bala said. If Dezzy Bala makes such a big mistake, that would end up terminating him from PD after 5 years, should he lose his progress and start as a cadet again? ABSOLUTELY 100% he should. Although this is a highly unlikely situation, there should still be consequences for your actions. They are your IC actions after all and they have IC consequences. Having an OOC reinstatement just bypasses all of that. Why should it matter if you put a lot of OOC effort into building your character? Behind every character, there is a lot of OOC effort to build it. I honestly don't think I am being dishonest and inhumane. Lastly, whenever crims take an L and complain about it in /b, (which I do not support, I don't think that is a valid way of stating your complaints.) it is always met with something along the lines of "deal with it IC". Now let's say you do deal with it IC, file an IA report and that ends up getting the cop discharged. Now you have dealt with it ICly, but that just feels like a slap in the face when you see the same person OOCly reinstating the next day, and they seemingly have lost nothing.
  5. I am making this suggestion because as it is now, this server has a lot of consequences for crims and none for LEOs. What I mean by this is that if a criminal makes an IC error, they might face prison sentences, fines and might even get raided. All of these are valid consequences and I don't have anything against that. My only wish is for it to be balanced with some type of valid repercussions from the LEO side as well. For example, if an officer, makes an IC mistake, they might get a warning, be suspended, or at worst discharged. This might seem bad, but not when it is so easy to OOCly transfer back into the department and keep on going as if nothing ever happened, just with a different name. This makes it so that, cops can make all the mistakes they want, and the worst that can happen is that they get discharged and just transfer back on another character. Hopefully, I am not the only one who sees the problem with this.
  6. This may seem like a weird request, but let me put it into context. There have been several times when I have been evading from cops, and I think that I have successfully evaded from all ground units and the helicopter. I drive away assuming I have evaded, just for me to be met with more units. My problem is that even after me turning my engine off, getting out and looking up, I can not see or hear anything, to lead me to believe there is still a helicopter above my head. A simple fix to this could just be to make the helicopter make more noise, since lets face it, in real life there is no way you are not seeing or hearing a helicopter when it is directly above your head as they are loud AF.
