    Russian Mob

Great to see how far you guys went, I'm happy to have been a part of this faction since the beginning and raised it up to where it was. I'm sure you guys will be missed in this community.
  2. This is neither a bug nor a rulebreak. Feel free to post a suggestion in the appropriate section but there have been many similar suggestions in the past and they have not been implemented for various reasons.
  3. The issue is that it doesn't have any range, which is what is being abused. People can find out the model of any vehicle that is very far away from them by using this feature.
  4. Spike Strip Improvements Currently, spike strips are quite difficult to use as you have to stand in the middle of the road/highway in order to use them and therefore it usually leads to either getting ran over or giving the criminal an advantage as the entire pursuit line has to slow down and wait for the spikes to be picked up. An example of this can be seen here: https://streamable.com/bqskgg Here is a real-life video of spike strips in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6HMS4jBY_A My Suggestion As you can see in the real-life video, the spike strips can be thrown into the lane from some distance. When placing the spike strips, it should place it a few metres in front of the player and also in the direction they are facing. To pick them up, the range should be simply increased, as currently you pretty much have to stand on top of them to pick them up which, again, leads to being ran over most of the time. You should be able to pick them up from where you put them down, as realistically there is some rope thing that you can pull them back with which can also be seen in the real-life video. Feel free to share your opinions below.
  5. Speed cameras are there to promote some kind of realistic driving. If they weren't a thing, you'd have people speeding through places with 10+ people at 240km/h - I'm sure this wouldn't end well. That is why you only see speed cameras at common and popular places, like the bank or pier. Just learn where they are, and don't speed. They are there for a good reason.
  6. Hello! Applications usually take upwards of 24 hours; it solely depends on how many applications there are and when staff are available. Nevertheless, best of luck with your application and I hope to see you around!
  7. So a lot of these features are limited to official gangs. Some you can still access such as chop shops, drug dealers, merchants (I think that's what they're called - the guys you buy crowbars and drills from), and probably a couple more that I've missed. You press E to interact with them and then usually in the top right you can do an action such as chopping a car, selling drugs, or buying equipment. For drug dealers, you need drugs in your inventory obviously, for chop shops, there needs to be an unlocked vehicle nearby, etc etc. The smugglers which you asked about are currently only accessible by official gangs. Hope this cleared things up

    The Goblins

Looking forward to what's going to happen with new leadership. Thread is looking fire, keep it up boys!
  9. Hey! You should ask this question ICly, whether that be messaging the officer that denied your application over the government website, or asking it in game. Best of luck!
  10. Amazing posts on your thread, I've had nothing but great RP encounters with you in game so far. Keep up the good work everyone!
  11. This is already a feature as far as I'm aware. Pretty sure these are the only two ways that PD can get notified, with the notifications being an extremely low chance, and the interrogation only being limited to certain ranks and obviously we can't just go around interrogating every single NPC until we find a shipment.
  12. +1 At the moment, we have to OOCly enter houses and use /doorshout (an IC command) to OOCly inform them that we are entering as a snakecam. I think this command will help because I have witnessed multiple times where new players or in fact, regular players have killed the "snakecam" although they were entering OOCly. This wouldn't be a "PD buff" at all, if balancing is needed maybe add a /do for people in very close proximity to the door.
  13. This. I don't think autolock is needed personally, I've never left my house unlocked nor has it ever been robbed.
  14. Best of luck! Thread looks epic, pretty unique faction. Hope to see you guys around!

    Russian Mob

Max Samuels was originally born on 23/04/1998 in an industrial city called Podolsk on the outskirts of Moscow. His parents decided to move there from Manchester in England, due to their fear of the rising crime rates. They did not have much money, but luckily managed to acquire a small, worn-down home on a lonely street. They spent most of their money on this house, meaning that Max had to live through poverty and poor conditions for the majority of his childhood. A few weeks after his 18th birthday, he managed to get a job at a local factory, where he worked every day for countless hours to try and make some money. Max was a very loud and eager person, which managed to make him a lot of friends from his new job. He met a man from Mexico who went by the name of Arturo Antonio, and spoke to him almost every day, eventually they became best friends. It was now exactly 1 year after Max had first acquired his job, he managed to save up a sum of $10,000 in his bank account. He went straight to a vehicle dealership and looked around for anything that caught his eye. Seeing as Max always had a passion for driving motorcycles, he went straight over to that section and bought himself a Vortex. He knew that this would be the perfect vehicle for him; not only did it look good, but it's performance was also great. It was a difficult choice, and he ended up spending most of his savings, leaving him at $1,500. Max received a phone call from his best friend Arturo, he accepted it and listened closely to what he had to say. Arturo told him that he was moving to a city called Los Santos in America, as he was offered a position in the Russian Mob from his old friend, Ramon Mikhailov. Max was very surprised and decided to go with him as it was the only loyal friend that he had left. He packed his bags with what he had left from his house and got his motorcycle transported there by boat. They arrived in Los Santos a few days later and Max was very interested in seeing what this mob was. He attended a small meeting with Arturo and the rest of the mob as he was intrigued to join. He was offered to join the mob as he had proved himself worthy and helped them over the next few days. He was not experienced in the criminal lifestyle that his new family showed him and it took a few weeks to get used to. A few months passed by and Max was eventually promoted within the mob as an official member. He had been committing a whole variety of crimes over the past few months and suddenly realised that he was making a lot more money than he was at the factory he first worked it. However, he still didn't have much money and he asked Arturo if he could spare him a few hundred dollars. Surprisingly, he gave him a new Elegy Retro Custom as well as $50,000 which Max used very wisely and showed his appreciation by staying loyal to his new family. TO BE CONTINUED

Good luck. The thread looks awesome! I'm sure this will get somewhere!
  17. +1, I have bought many cars in the past that have someone's name as a custom license plate without even noticing, which pretty much made me sell it as I don't want someone else's name on my car.
  18. Date and time (provide timezone): Approximately 30/01/21 11:04 Character name: Joseph Holland Issue/bug you are reporting: If you exit a helicopter, it sometimes disappears and goes down, under the map. I'm not sure what the cause of this is, but it still remains in the same place as the cruiser on the GPS is still there. Expected behavior: The helicopter should stay where it is. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: https://streamable.com/v82nd2 https://streamable.com/6x1jqm https://i.imgur.com/BjTTox2.png Steps to replicate: Land a helicopter, engine off, step out, there's a chance that it will disappear. I believe unlocking/locking again may have something to do with it, but this has not been tested, just a possibility. Vehicle license plate number*: N/A
