  1. This is true. When I used to play here, a lot of people complained about GnD in labs but I haven’t personally seen it happen. Labs were scouted but it was backed up by a valid IC reason at the time. A trace or a snitch etc. Also true. A lot of reports are petty and staff should address this properly rather than going to one person to ask if the report is petty or not. Not every report should result in a punishment and the handling staff member should ask themselves if the report was made in good faith or not. This report-anything-cause-i-lost-a-0.50 trend is so ridiculous.
  2. Oh god. I’ve seen this film before.
  3. This will screw up and worsen the already inflated economy; -1
  4. IRL, one bullet could end up killing a healthy man. Here, in this GTA universe, you need to be shot 1-10 times depending on the weapon being used to get downed or to be placed in an injured state. You're correct in saying this is a game, because it is a game. If we’re going to assume 2 or 4 or 6 or 10 or whatever amount of bullets are enough to render you dead or untreatable, then nobody will go to jail LOL. If you want to kill your character or RP death, then thats totally allowed and doesn't require staff approval (afaik) provided that the character will actually be dead, meaning you won’t ever play on it. I think what’s more “unrealistic” is popping 5 blunts in a fight just to regain health points to clap more people.
  5. I mean, if anything, this will entice the PvP mentality that some people have even more. I personally don’t see anything good coming out of this considering the current circumstances and the state of the server. The script should remain in place to prevent any abuse; that was the whole idea behind it.
  6. What if the player says no because they value their privacy regardless of how the anti cheat work? See, the issue with this, is the moment you say “No, I value my privacy”, you're gonna become guilty in senior staff’s view, because that’s how shit works here. It doesn’t matter if you’re cheating or not, the only thing that matters, is what they think of you. Looking back, I can see how this entire approach could lead to problems later on.
  7. +1. Half of the criminal population are cheating, and ever since that certain someone was forced out by certain people, more cheaters and evaders have swarmed in.
  8. Mind shedding some light on how one gang can lead to others getting screwed? You do have an MDC right? You use that to get the name of the owner of the vehicle you've pulled over right? So you would have an idea if they're going to be hostile toward you or not, based on their criminal record? On regular patrol, you tend to deal with random crims more than known clappers, those random crims usually sit at burgershot yapping all day. Pulling up with 150AP is not fair? Those crims will have a .50 with 33 rounds at best, if not a heavy pistol.. It's about fairness. I am on team "Cops should be overpowered" but only to a certain extent. Overpowered doesn't mean you have the best of the best equipment available to you at all times. Also.. 1000AP? Really..? 150 is not enough? Bro wants to be a juggernaut With this logic, PD should import a Fighter Jet. I've heard the "Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II" is pretty good.
  9. See, that’s the issue. You are convinced that all crims will act the same way. You’re going full throttle on everyone because of one or two clapper gangs. Flexibility and adaptability are thrown out of the window.
  10. Can you be more specific? The way you're wording this makes it sound like “All criminals shoot cops on sight”
  11. This issue came up before, and FS put their foot down disallowing criminal factions from importing, specifically, the Pump Mk2 because it was way too overpowered. MK2s in general are OP and expensive, so not every criminal will be running around with one. But, of course, that same logic doesn’t seem to apply to the factions on the other side of the aisle. Crazy right? Back to the Pump Mk2s, FS said no to importing them and promised to remove them from the economy altogether. So, what happened after 90% of criminals lost access to them? FS turned around and said, "You know what? Let’s import a few… and hand them out to our favorite criminals as a little reward." Brother… why? Didn’t you want these gone? Weren’t you trying to purge the server of Pump Mk2s? What exactly changed? Now here's the fucked up reality. It feels like our beloved senior staff didn't have the purest intentions behind this, because from the looks of things, it does look like they wanted to indirectly nerf the mortal crims under the guise of a "broken gun we can't keep that". What else did you think would happen when you stripped the Pump Mk2 from the criminal economy but let LEOs keep theirs to wipe the floor with everyone? I mean surely that wasn’t the plan, right? It’s simple. Either remove it from everyone’s loadout, or let everyone keep it. Don’t come around with "Oh, we can’t remove it from LEOs just yet because three criminals still have a few stashed away in their apartments" like that’s a valid reason. Brother.. That’s just a weak excuse. You do realize those guns will end up as collector’s items anyway, right? Right? This whole situation's bent over, cheeks spread wide. Just put the fries in the bag lil bro. Unreasonable suggestion I'm afraid. Even IRL, helis are used in pursuits. In an ideal world, I would say no, but since that shit is broken here with objects not loading correctly from a distance, then +1 +1 It's crazy seeing patrol units rolling with 150AP, even if they're SWAT, they should only put on 150AP when shit goes down. But during regular patrol, it's kinda weird icl. Played cop/crim for 5 years, never seen it happen personally, and reports regarding this were denied due to GnD having a valid IC reason to roll into/raid a lab. You need to understand that labs are fucked. The whole concept is flawed. Don't blame GnD for doing their job. Blame those who made labs so fucked. Blame those who turned this "RP" server into a "PvP" server. I literally fought a cop with 175AP near Humane Labs entrance, and I clapped him. That happened around 2 months ago. It looked like they were wearing a bomb squad suit.
  12. You’ve just described GTA World. This isn’t GTA World and never will be in terms of RP standards. Both sides here have a PvP mentality so it sounds a bit biased to blame one side and praise the other. Let me give you an example. Gang A is full of PvPers, and they decide that today, they’re gonna clap every cop they see just for the memes and the laughs. PD responds by importing MK2 heavies. Cool, now the shit starts. Other gangs, ones that aren’t even beefing with PD like that, are getting wiped. Why? Because one cop with a Carbine MK2 can drop two crims with .50s in a heartbeat. Now that gang’s pissed. They keep losing pistols, getting arrested, and serving jailtime. So what do they do? They do exactly the same, they start bringing in MK2s themselves. And suddenly, every gang starts feeling the pressure to match that firepower. It’s a ripple effect. Meanwhile, DOC is still garbage for a bunch of reasons, and nobody wants to spend time there. In the end, everyone is rolling with heavies. So the question is, who’s really to blame here? The clapper gang that started the war for the fun of it? Or the cops who kept using MK2s even after the heat died down?
  13. DeAndre King wouldn’t agree with this statement. Just sayin.
  14. Respectfully, the server has turned into a cops and robbers fivem server. It's anything but a roleplay server. People only use those mods to enhance their PvP gameplay and to win more fights. You're not addressing the root cause of the issue here. Also, how can you enforce the "no-crosshair" rule when most gaming monitors have it built in as a feature which cannot be recorded by any software?
  15. Probably one way to combat this, is to increase the prices of all heavy weapons. It's too easy for anyone right now to go to a random crim, and buy one of their 25 heavies for 30k. The 30k they spent was a 20 minute cook at a lab at 7AM in the morning. The way things are, or how it was made, is that FS indirectly gave heavies to all criminals regardless of their RP standards. Those who are part of "high-tier/high-RP standards" factions will not be affected by an increase in price, as they, supposedly, don't care about assets but rather care about RP standards. Also, it would be nice to remove MK2s from the server, keep the variety of heavies/weapons but remove MK2s so things are more balanced across the board. +1
