vx3r
I’d also like to add that scamming should be against the rules. People in real life don’t sign and contract then steal a car and keep it? It just isn’t realistic! You wouldn’t see someone selling a car you sign contract and then take the car with pay just isn’t realistic and it ruins RP If you want this rule added up vote this suggestion Should you be allowed to scam in a NCZ Regards Charlie green Edited March 12, 2020 by vx3r

Luxas
-1 Scamming is real, it’s also illegal IC to have your own contracts as it’s tax evasion. If you get scammed, it’s your own fault.. not the rules fault

But its all about RP, if you get scammed go to the police like you would IRL. If you sign a contract and they take what you signed for maybe ask them OOC if they RP'd that it was a fake contract. I think in this situation its just lack of RP Edited March 12, 2020 by QuirkyMayhem
vx3r
I don’t want it completely to be against the rule I think at a NCZ you shouldn’t be allowed to scam
Jaquan Smith
+1, there's a rule that people can do /anything/ illegal in NCZ but scamming is allowed.
Navster
Id like to add one more thing in real life if someone scammed your car off you it would count as theft and the insurance company would cover you wouldn't they?

vx3r
Scamming should be against the rules of a NCZ so you can’t scam in a NCZ give me your opinions on what you think of this
Marca
Making up contracts to avoid tax is also a crime and shouldn't be done in a NCZ. Also an IC issue.

alexalex303
There needs to be a risk to your tax avoidance and other actions. If you are protected by OOC rules, you are just preventing RP.

TreMetal
The real issue with the scam rule is that it is not even in the rule book. It's in an obscure forums post that is hard to find even when you are looking for it.. definitely not great for newer players who do not know better (and I am sure a lot of veteran players too). Rule book definitely needs to be updated in either the NCZ and/or player theft section(s).

kenichis
-1 This would lead to metagaming with people saying "lets go to the bank before we do this deal cause you can't scam me there." You can solve it IC anyhow.
Pegasus_
+1/-1 I understand both sides here and agree. On one hand, scamming is a crime, and it is literally a No Crime Zone. On the other hand, there's plenty of ways to solve scamming ICly instead of implementing it in the rules.
vx3r
if you cant do CRIME in a NCZ why should you be allowed to scam>
tangowilde
Just to clarify the contract and tax evasion point, couldn't you simply make the contracted payments via wire transfer? I thought those were taxed
Amaim
It should be allowed, or else people are gonna use the rules to avoid IC scams. it can happen in real life.
TheCactus
Even if the way people scam in-game is very unrealistic, scamming exists and you can easily avoid it. Edited March 14, 2020 by TheCactus
