  1. Simply put, if there's a GPS in a vehicle, passengers should be able to set a waypoint for the driver. While most locations can be described, others are a bit tricky. Being able to place a waypoint for others would be quite useful, especially for DCC. Of course, there could be abuse, however it's pretty common for players to screenshot their map with the location selected and RP sending it to the other person, this would simply make it easier. It should also be disabled for injured players, as it would most likely be abused to annoy medics/LEOs by changing their waypoints if they're already en route to a location. Can also add a command to disable gps access or to lock the selected location, (RPly the GPS could be locked with a pin code or something like that and only the driver would be able to adjust it in that situation) (I know /setgps exists, however that only works with a street number, some roads don't have any buildings along them, so it won't work in those cases) Alternatively, it could be added to phones as a "share location" feature in messages and clicking on it will mark a waypoint.
  2. Additionally to this, Central MD needs to be set as LSEMS HQ. If there are no vehicles at the ambulance bay, the salary system does not tick.
  3. A criminal in the real world wouldn't just decide to rob someone in a clothing store randomly. While yes, it does happen in real life, its a reaaaaally tiny chance of happening, whereas on the server, it would happen pretty much all the time and it got out of hand. This rule has probably increased and promoted more social and civilian roleplay. A really strong example is the pier. Previously, that was a hotspot to get robbed, however now it's basically what the bank used to be. At the end of it all, we are here to roleplay and have fun, not ruin another player's experience while they're just trying to chill and buy clothes or refuel their vehicle. There are a lot of places you can perform robberies, GTA V has a massive map, including a lot of secluded locations where players find themselves. Criminal RP is not meant to be an easy role - almost anyone could just get a gun, find someone at a clothing store, say hands, rob them and drive away, which is something you can no longer do. To perform a robbery now, you need to plan it out and have a realistic process towards it. I do not believe the rule needs a change, from a civilian / medic perspective.
  4. I agree, I'd think it would be easier for people to follow IC traffic laws too if this was a thing.
  5. GTA V only makes use of true cores - it does not properly take advantage of hyperthreading / SMT, thus the lower CPU usage percent. If you have a look at your actual core usage, you'll see your first few cores are near 100%, and the rest are near idle. If the CPU is not able to keep up with frame rendering, then the GPU usage will drop.
  6. I can confirm that no commands I tried worked. I tried to kill the character to force the bag to drop but it remained on death.
  7. +1 - Gov site is meant to be IC, so we should be able to use it as such.
  8. +1 i've definitely been noticing a lot more FPS drops and overall instability with my frame rate. I play with vsync on and it's always remained at 60fps, however after update it's drops to the half sync of 30fps quite often.

    Beautiful thread
  10. I have attempted to fix this as if it was a crash loop, with no luck. His character name was not working and nor was his ID. I have also attempted to jail the player, it still did not work.
  11. The speed cap was imposed because players would intentionally lower their settings to gain advantage over others. It is not realistic to magically have your car go faster than another person purely because your PC is more powerful.
  12. Which is fine, if you're not actually breaking a rule, ignore their comments. They're stalling it for themselves by going to /b constantly while you Role-play.
