  1. +1 would likely decrease small reports as well.
  2. -1 As this was suggested many times over. The processing time for criminals already takes a long time for PD. Now you would just pile on more time for even more people and would be stuck in a single RP scenario for prob longer than you can sit at a PC + it would require long time commitment from all involved parties. Additionally i believe real life law skills would be required just to provide good RP. Sure it could work, but if that was a thing, be prepared for extremely extended sentences to compensate
  3. Ye i honestly wouldn't care. Someone stealing my car should not stop me from going on duty or off if i feel like im done for the day. Now if script would allow the cars to stay then that would be good, cause it is an RP killer if you just despawn your car, but it is not your fault that that happens.
  4. +1 we want this as well and we bring this up as best we can.
  5. I feel like any random dock could work as a chop. Especially since some chops/labs have docks already. +1
  6. I would be up for the idea that if a person is stationary and a person has a gun aimed at him, the person in the car should be free to drive away, while the person with the gun at that point should be free to shoot. As you are still in danger, just you can take the chance to get away (better chance to survive while driving away in a car, than it is to try to outrun someone with a gun). What i don't want is constant situations of people issuing demands from a moving car to a moving car, and this being treated the same. So if a person in a moving car does not stop, that should not give the person the right to shoot (this is more in the case that this is still a game, and we shouldnt have everything you do be a life or death case) The problem i see with that specific PD report, is what would happen if the cop had been issuing demands while moving? Would they still have opened fire an would they still be fine?
  7. Really like the suggestion regarding the neighborhood, but i think any kind of reminder is pointless, most people do know the rule and just choose to ignore it hoping they dont get caught.
  8. People can legally change their names, so it is not always a case due to a CK. should be the case only when you get CKed, but you should also lose all aliases you have set as well.
  9. I think they need to up the max price in LE or add a some kind middle end, to give the option for middle ranged cars. Those that are too expensive for LE but don't seem to make sense to be put in HE.
  10. You do know that if they up the money you make, nothings gonna stop people from raising prices along side that. Printing more money does not help. -1
  11. I think the suggestion is to have it protected the same way LE/HE cars are protected, you cant steal them. +1 if we get more parking lots and it doesnt cause server issues as we would have hundreds if not thousands of cars everywhere.
  12. I am not a store owner, nor am i a trucker. But the last thing i want is that truckers asking for better pay will result in higher gas prices to compensate for the delivery costs. Additionally, taxes are applied based on your net worth, and the 35% tax bracket starts from 1mil in assets, and you could just own a single gas station, but that alone is already way beyond 1mil in value.
  13. ((you cannot use forum names to link people to characters in IC forums. What if someone was posting information on their other characters behalf and you take it up IC with the wrong character? Unless a signature under the comment is provided or a name is given, you cannot just metagame who the person is talking as))
  14. -1 The stuff mentioned above + whats to stop criminals from taking money trucks and "getting robbed" by other criminals from the same gang or an allied gang. If money transporting was a factioned job, with a security detail - sure, but making it more dangerous for new players + the possibility for abuse is not the way to go.
  15. I think the taxi thing might just be due to ping, as it might make it appear that the driver is hitting everything, while on his side its the opposite.
  16. 1. I think drug prices going up would be fine, if it actually involved some RP. Now literally anyone can go to a lab, make some drugs and just drop them off for money. Compared to any faction job, this is easy, so easy should not be more rewarding than something that require effort and time. 2. would be interesting to see, but i get the feeling that in most cases it would just end up as a forum DM report from one or the other side. 3. no opinion
  17. I would like to add to this that if someone is talking over the radio, and your radio gets taken out from your inventory (my case was a frisk), the VOIP continues.
  18. +1 i can imagine this being used and it makes sense
  19. -1, just go play GTAO deathmatch or something if you want to just shoot people so bad.
  20. @alexalex303 can you go AFK while in prison, like leave your PC + game on to pass the time? Or does the afk timer kick in
  21. Exactly, honestly having time and fine penalties which would let you choose of which you want to spend more could help - you have time, well make yourself at home, dont have the time, well this fine that you have to pay + extra costs (aka bail) should make more sense to you. Honestly the person who gets robbed spends <5min getting robbed and more time getting back to the same state than the person in jail, and most of the time, the person robbing gets more $$$ from the robbery than the fine for the crime.
  22. Everyone saying they don't have time to spend in jail, but have plenty of time to harass other players. What if i have an hour trying to make some money, only to be interrupted by someone robbing, kidnapping, etc. me reducing the time i have for activities i want by causing me to spend time being robbed, interacting with PD (cause cmon RP is RP) or going to MD after potentially getting killed, which leads to me having to go rebuy equipment, avoid picking my car up etc etc etc. Why do i have to waste MY time just because you feel that you can't waste YOURS. like that old saying goes - "don't do the crime, if you cant do the time" Edit. Or if time is too much, have fines for crimes that would act as deterence. I dont know how much the current fines are, but if they were more severe people might spend more time on other activities rather than just constantly robbing people for a few items. edi2. So just checked on the gov website that the fine for armed robbery (which is most common) is $2k. Most of the time, the items taken off of someone will exceed that value so robbing someone then paying the fine is likely to still be profitable - which it shouldn't.
  23. -1 Either check before you go or have someone check for you, but convenience should not be an excuse to reduce RP.
  24. The thing is, why would you need to interact more in game than you do IRL. Gas stations have card scanners so you have 0 interaction with people - so the server has already the real life equivalent. Stores have self checkouts, where there is 1 person to assist, check your age or help with something not working, but assuming everything would work without a flaw, you would need no interaction - so again, this is already very close to real life. The only thing i could see is gun stores actually having someone at them to prevent people from buying without a license or a type of gun they don't have a license for - regardless of scripts prohibiting this, involving RP would make it better. And lastly i think that while business RP can, should and honestly Is constantly improving, making the essentials rely on RP would just make it more difficult, you can just force people to sit at a store or gas station like it was their actual work. What i would like though is that when new stores etc are added, it would not be a first come first serve, could be an auction to help out getting a business. And i think that adding some more RP to store, gas station, etc owners would be good, but at this point, if someone who spent a lot of money on a store wants to sleep and passively make money, it is his choice. So im gonna go with a -1.
