  1. Really like this Overall, we need more city bee locations and allow regular people to take them out if there are less than X amount of taxi drivers OR base it on how many people are online per onduty taxi driver.
  2. ((This is an IC section, so you prob shouldnt be using terms like RP)) Hello, would be very interested to meet and talk BMX and drugs.
  3. +1 i wouldnt mind it myself. Most of the time i just head back to HQ to rearm.
  4. But if i have 100k on my main, and 4k on my alt and i apply on my alt, it will make it look like i am inexperienced.
  5. big +1. This could create a lot of stuff to do and would create some more gambling options. Could also create ways for people to make money by being the best at it and gambling.

  7. I think removing the NPC drug dealers would cripple criminals even more, as there would be nowhere near the demand from people to match the $ they get from the dealers. Personally i think the drugs should have some form of benefits and maybe downsides. Weed - could remove stress (add stress to the game) Cocaine - give a small speed boost (addiction is already a thing) Meth - give a small boost to HP (addiction is already a thing, could decrease health by a lot more if in withdrawal) Point is, while sure it is not all that realistic to have happy pills give you powers, it is still a game and having drugs provide some form of benefit would actually create a demand for them. If there was a demand for drugs then the dealers could be looked at. Additionally - the dealers could stay at their prices and people could buy drugs from them to sell them to others. Simply because not everyone will have access to a drug lab to produce drugs, while other will not have the time to look for players to buy drugs and would prefer to just sell it at a dealer. Example of how this would work. Person A produces drugs at a lab > sells them at a dealer for 500$ Person B buys drugs from the dealer that would have a supply of drugs based on the sale of A at 600$ a pop > goes to sell drugs to people for whatever he chooses. This would create more RP, as not everyone wants to go to a lab as it is risky. Not everyone would want to go buy drugs from a dealer for the same reason. But other people would have more options to sell drugs and with the added benefit of drugs, there would be a demand for them.
  8. +1 would help players that dont have that much money to begin with, as for those that are poor, every $ counts.
  9. There have been suggestions regarding either having taking calls status for DCC or have it set that if x are on duty, only then you are able to get a citybee. And the lack for trucking jobs is due to them being all player orders. If all stores are full, stations have gas etc, no one is gonna place an order and there will be no trucker jobs. Additionally, due to a low amount of trucker jobs, a lot get taken fast so you need to wait to see job postings.
  10. +1 really cool idea
  11. While i agree with the point being made, this is an IC suggestion to the LSPD.

  13. I think something that people could consider is going to PD for assistance. The bayview event had PD on scene to assist with any trouble makers. This way you could have a legal protection to help out if you do not want to pay for criminal organizations to protect you.
  14. I think the biggest issue, from what was seen tonight, was that script wise attacking a club with people having heavies aimed at the door is impossible. The script does not allow for a realistic breach scenario, so you are left with having to blindly walk in without any kind of view inside and just get killed on the entrance + Players do not render at the same speed, so while someone entering will still be stuck on the entrance, the people inside will be able to start shooting at them. Fixing entering and exiting of interiors would be a better solution and would allow for a proper RP response, rather than shooting people who are just entering inside but are stuck due to the script.

  16. I feel like the main points which are 3 and 4 are leading up to the fact that turfs need to be a thing. Most gangs do most of their business in their HQ locations, as can be seen from faction threads and the RP they are posting. Additionally, it is IC knowledge between the gangs on where each hangs out. I think a big problem, as you mentioned, is that gangs have nothing to fight for apart from having the other faction be disbanded.
  17. There are also legitimate key sellers that sell games at sale prices while stock holds. Bought mine off one for 13eur.
  18. I think it should just be an option from the armory without the steps of importing. And some stuff would just make sense for PD SWAT to be used in certain situations.
  19. I think it is good to keep the animation same, as it makes it very clear when someone is going for their gun. -1
  20. There are a lot of ways prisons could be improved *Allow AFK or Offline time to go down - But it would still require you to spend a % of that time IC and there would be a minimum. As a lot of sentences are around 2 hours, that could be the minimum and just work from there. *More activities - Allow prisoners to work their fines off in prison. Stuff like farming or mining (which is already in prison) or additional stuff like manufacturing. This could help the people in prison decrease the loss they get in money for their sentences, as well as provide an activity to do while in prison. Or allow the prisoners to decrease their time with these activities. The point is to allow choice as some value time and some value money. *Allow non-violent offenders to serve community sentences - A new job that would require you to put in hours in the job, but you could serve your time outside of the prison and serve your time while also being able to interact with people outside. This could be implemented by having PD or SD look over the people who are allowed to do these jobs in a more secluded area, without forcing them to be stuck in prison. Regarding the suggestion though i will say that i just dont want people to leave their PCs on through the night to serve out their sentences in full. Criminals already outnumber LEO and having criminals serve their sentences out IC helps a lot with decreasing the pressure around town I believe ways to improve have been suggested multiple times, and the devs are at work with ways to help this out so best bet is to wait.
  21. +1 would just make sense for a food truck to also serve drinks
  22. Right now if you are frisking someone, you have to tell them to take their gun out and drop it, as there is no way to take the gun off the person. Same for when you are frisking a person who is in cuffs, you have to uncuff them, have them equip the gun, drop it and then cuff them again.
  23. I think for the most part, simple robberies, while low risk/higher reward, getting put in jail really causes damage to the criminals, as those that are not big gang affiliate, and therefore more likely to go around robbing people, dont really have a safety net. If they get caught, they serve time and get a massive financial penalty. Its not just about making criminal activities that have same or different rewards, but one of the ideas thats been going around for some time now, is to create turfs for gangs to fight over, which would create more option for them that would encourage people to engage with other gangs on a more RP level, rather than just killing each other. Could be wrong though, but there is limited availability for criminals in what they can do, and people who do chain robberies are usually people who are non-affiliated or are fairly new. While it might not seem that money should be the main goal, it does matter. People want to have a safe space to store their stuff and vehicle (chances are you will get robbed at the only parking lot in town). People want to drive the cars that they want. If you want to be a part of a bigger gang, you need money to make the gang work, without proper equipment, you will be at a disadvantage compared to better equipped gangs. Additionally, character development happens over time, i had 0 thoughts regarding my background when i started off, but through playing, the character was developed. Most people need to get used to the game before they can start moving forward, so you either look for work or turn to crime and overtime their characters are developed, but in the meantime they have to resort to robbing because you do need to have money. At the end of the day, while you might want different RP and maybe even more character development focused RP, it does happen, you just need to meet those people. There are a lot of different people, some have really well developed characters, some are working on it and some just dont care - and it should be fine, regardless of how you go about it. But at the end, even in real life, money is one of the biggest motivators for people, so why should it be any different in a game that aims to mimic real life?
