The question/answer channel is largely a community driven channel. Many current staff started by answering questions as community members. Support staff do monitor the channel and answer quite often, usually when a question can't be answered by community members. We often do not answer, as to give community members a chance to shine, which often leads to being selected as staff. Anytime I am monitoring the channel, questions are being answered almost immediately, usually by 2-3 people. Although theres nothing wrong with your idea, I just don't think it is needed, and I like the fact that it is largely a community driven channel.

Yah just out of realism.....It's a rather short period of time to lose a car that gets completely destroyed. I'd honestly be OK with like a whole day having to wait. People would be more careful with their cars.

It's not much of a punishment to just run Rage in the background while you can play other games, go for a walk, eat a meal, etc. etc. I do agree the compounding time resulting in hours in prison is a bit much. But, the point of jail is a punishment for getting caught doing crime. If you can just tab out and completely ignore Rage for that time, it's not a punishment.

- A lot of people create characters early on, and end up not liking them, or wanting them to be civilians, but make mistakes early on to get a record. - Others create male/female characters then later decide they wish to switch sexes but can't. - Others just abandon 1 character in favor of their second. Then have no option to create a fresh character without buying a new character slot. I am sure there are plenty of other reasons to delete a character, that do not involve CK to void out a criminal record. That being said, assets on these charcters should be lost, in my opinion, transferring those assets is just a way to completely CK with no down side. What I would recommend, is 1 time deletion for all accounts (similar to the 1-time free plastic surgery). You get one free character deletion per account, usable anytime. After that, you must pay to create a new character. To prevent transferring all assets, then deleting, it should be part of the Transfer Request Approval, that transferring assets prevents deleting that character for XX time. (say 3 months)

And why we are add it, change the lackluster phone UI. - Ability to sort contacts - Ability to search contacts - Ability to edit contacts - Fix the pickup/hangup bugs - Tie the gps function to it - Allow using text at poker!! (the hecc was this change??) - Save sent messages as well as recived… - add missed/made/received calls to the phone history Etc.

As has been stated, many things are pay and recieve by credit. (fishing, freelance jobs, HE and LE, Stores). I can get behind a recommendation to relook what is paid by cash or credit? But don't think we need a whole system for this. And, as a side note, if this is for realism, then why not forcing ATM withdraws, and stealing credit cards be added as well? Some things are not perfectly matched to reality because it can be abused and cause an inability to protect yourself (re: Powergaming).

Although I think it's a cool idea, I'm not sure there would be much demand to turn items in. I do have a surplus of items, but they are usually things you can keep for when you need them (radios, GPS, poles, pins) And if you do wanna get rid of em, I kind of like the peddlers at the bank trying to sell them. Maybe some other features could be added? Make it full out Pawn Shop? - Be able to turn in fine minerals (gold) found rarely through mining. - Have salvage parts spawn in the broken down car props around LS that can be sold - Have rare items only found in pawn shops (maybe just flavor items like a wearable guitar item etc.) - Ammo!! - Maybe even find things through fishing that can be sold? - Probably a bunch of other ideas too....

Yes, then this goes back to the difference between radios gangs get and PD get. If we want to be realistic, the cheaper radios you are referring to with no FH mode, and no Z function...also wouldn't reach across the state... If it was a cheaper radio, with no Z function, scrambling the channel would be even easier, as it would likely be a dial turn, or a button press. I guess my point is simply, it should not be automatic, that you win a firefight and get the freq. It should be a mistake by a player, really well played RP (requiring to specifically state don't touch the radio etc), or simply downing someone before they can switch it. A 2-second timer with a /ame, and remove changing the station off the FearRP list is my suggestion. I would also maybe make the script not allow changing it once downed....

"buffs" from drinks doesn't happen IRL, so don't think it should be included in an RP server. Some drugs can make you not feel pain, but you'd still get injured and fall down from, say, a GSW to the leg. I understand this is a video game, but its a video game designed to replicate real life within its limits. Adding any sort of "buffs" or effects like this are not something I would like to see.

Radios have had Z buttons since radios existed. They are intentionally designed to take about 1 second to hit them, and clear the radio off all freqs, and the "fill" (i.e. the encryption). And you can bet, if someone goes down in a fight (PD, Soldier, Gang) they will hit the Zero button....every time. Because it saves everyone elses lives. Add a timer? Sure, 1-2 seconds is plenty. But then remove changing Freqs off the FearRP rules, because IRL, you would unlikely notice them do it...and it would be instinct to change the station when there is a chance the freq would be compromised. It is only FearRP now because it has become a mini-game within eclipse to steal freqs, as has been stated. If we want to add timers to make RP more realistic, then also remove the auto-kill FearRP that goes with it, since IRL all you would see is a 2 second movement of a hand.

It can certainly be difficult at times. And I understand your pain. I have a house thats loud, and 2 kids running around, I couldnt use a mic if I wanted to. This topic applies as well to girl avatars using text. Which is one of the main reasons I rp on eclipse. I have certainly met my share of horrendous RP and both IC and OOC comments, insults and slurs. Still happens every few days. (Although it happens much less on Jasmine...who is recognozed in the community....then my alt...which is upsetting. You shouldnt need to be rich, on staff, and have 500k xp for people to act right towards you). All that being said...there is a strong community of "diversity RPrs". People who's characters dont match their IRL personas or physical appearance. I have had a lot of success finding them, as well as the 100s of RPrs who accept wholeheartily all sorts of diversity. I wish we all could accept and be mature, caring RPrs. But its not realistic. What is real, though, is there are plenty of people willing to RP with anyone whos a good, decent person. If you need to find them, stumble into Jasmine Gray in game, and we'll take care of you... ❤

I actually disagree on this. Getting AFK passive income from these businesses is already a huge (and in my opinion completely unfair) advantage. Having someone else be able to manage and do the little bit of work it takes to maintain this passive income makes it even more unfair. It should not be possible to log in a few hours a week and generate passive income. And thats entirely possible now. Having managers will just make it worse.

Another common sense change that I'd really love to see. I dont know how many hours Ived wasted trying to move one piece of furniture, but destroy hours of work because the scipt has no heart at all.... And a very sick sense of humor...

This has been asked for many times. It is a common sense change, and hopefully will be fixed soon. For all the very valid reasons stated above.

Counterpoint: Usually after plastic surgery people are still recognizable. Its a bit unrealistic the amount of change IG plastic surgery allows. This would also allow a psuedo-CK option. Which has been stated is no longer supported. Add in the fact that their is no restriction on how often you can get plastic surgery, I think this would cause a lot more problems than its worth. If you need to remove everyones alias on you, it is essentially CK. Adding back a CK option could be argued for. But as it stands, it is not supported.

There are a ton of animations available in Rage. Not sure how complicated they are to add, but if its not too difficult, this would add a lot to RP. For proof, just look how much adding the simply pointing machanic added to RP. Its literally used in almost every RP scene.

I sort of agree with the non-rp of stalled vehicles. Even agree the server drives like maniacs with invincible vehicles and having more realistic damage systems might slow people down and create a more realistic server. The only thing I disagree about....is a lot of stalls happen (i'd imagine 100s a day server wide) that are caused by desync, other people desyncing, random pebbles in the ground etc. Right now it takes a very long time to get a mechanic on site. And many flips have to be serviced by mods instead. This change would cause a lot of frustration and headache to people getting stalled for silly reasons. So I would be against the change right now.

Well, that is 100% confirming our point. Their should be RP required giving: /do descriptions of perps. /do as to gender and skin color text or radio calls to communicate a perpetrators details. The fact that you use the mdc and random names is why we think it is BS. You should be forced to have better RP, when trying to catch a crim. If you don't even know the gender and skin color, what cloths they had on, you shouldn't be out looking for them. (re: its MG)

They came in gave no reason then left not arresting anyone. If cops bust up a club or bar, they don't sit at the entrance and check every single persons ID. They stand at the entrance stopping people who match the description of a known suspect. I mean, every single person at the table looked and dressed different, different genders different races. Explain why everyone there was IDd???

There's a ton of animations that could be added to make RP a hell of a lot better. They exist in the game and are possible in RageMP. It's just a matter of dev time and decisions. I for one would love to see more variety. It's not possible to wear a skirt, for example, and sit down without the whole world seeing your undies. So you have to either stand and RP sitting (like really). Or avoid wearing skirts. Or just let everything be visible. I would imagine it wouldn't take much time to add more. But I'm sure their are other priorities, given all the dev updates we've seen lately.

How about walking into the basement of Tequilala and demanding everyone give IDs? Is that in the handbook? Happened 2 times today.

Getting texts about a rumored Zeta hit on one of Jasmine's event...one hour before it's supposed to start. Jasmine has never had issues with Zetas and her events...it didn't sound right... Instead of listening to the rumors...she went straight to the source. Zetas store - running into Jay Gamble - Not realizing it until he told her his name after they spoke. 7+ months of interactions with Zetas...usually contentious...she finally meets Jay Gamble.
