I don't see an issue with an owner running his own truck, there's loads of small convenience stores across the globe that go to the local supermarket and buy their own products.... hell I know a gas station that is privately run and goes to the local fuel processing place with their own tanker to get fuel once a month....soooo All i would suggest is get a union going, and refuse orders less then what you feel is acceptable. I think if players took the incentive and took it seriously and got a faction rolling that support would be given from the admin side to assist more so, but so long as these jobs are getting completed what's going to motivate shop keepers to lose money.

+1 please make avalible at stores, and buy/sell in prison.

1. I see a pile of critters around but maybe that's cuz i'm not looking for them. 2. Seems like an IC problem that can be resolved with a few folks taking the lead and creating a faction to handle contracts, I think it would be pretty simple to get started and would likely be a good thing to get some RP for truckers. (potentially even get contracts from criminals for pickup/drop off of goods). 3. This is something that needs reported when noticed. 4. Not familiar with these mechanics as I haven't used them. 5. People would MG this and would cause all kinds of other problems. 6. The market in-game is player driven, as things become more and more rare they become more valuable, unfortunately it is the nature of supply vs demand. 7. I would support a city bee being available if only 1 taxi is on shift, but there are other means of public transit available, if you want to make some money, drive a bus around get some RP make friends, there are also essentially ubers in the city also, just need to find out whos doing it, they advertise a lot on weazle. 8. Already spoke about this one. 9. The interiors can be decorated, look at some of Belle Blackwood and others works, she did an amazing one for me! 10. Nope, don't like this idea, it is a way to automate player interaction, if you want to sell something, do it through player interaction.

I like the idea of a player acting as an illegal medic, that being said a "makeshift hospital" wouldn't be able to provide full capabilities of a hospital, im sure there are some out there but I don't see them having the tools to fix a lot of the injuries that criminals rp on scenes. /do you would see 30 bullets lodged in his torso... moving along, I think this would need to be a managed faction with scruitiny on rp as this would require extensive RP. I use to do this with my criminal in all honesty we would rush our injuried (not downed) friend to a house which we had setup as a hospital (stole a few ambulances to stock it up with medical supplies) and we would do make shift rp to treat the injuries using what we had at our disposal. Plyers, stove burner, fire poker, etc.... The rp would take over an hour for a gunshot, and once complete we would submit the recording to have the players health healed. It was a good time, full of laughs and holy shit moments. But we put about 30hours of solid rp into getting to the point of doing this. cased out ambulances, stole them without getting caught or baiting them. got on of our more legal characters to get first aid training through md. positioned all the stuff in the apartment with /me and /do cleaned the place spotless using /me and /do It was 30hours of rp for 4 people, and then we had 3 makeshift bullet removals in it that took over 1-2hours each, and often times ended up having bonfires outback after burning the cloths and blood stained furniture. If you do the rp, and provide proof im sure the admins will get behind and support you, but expecting them to create an automated script so you don't have to risk getting caught taking your friend to MD, I think isn't the right answer.... whats stopping you hauling your friend close to MD, then calling 911... and hiding out of sight? There is always a way for those that are creative and driven.

Pertaining to the trucker suggestion, a couple folks have tried to kick off a truckers union but gave up long before they got it finished. Secondly pertaining to stores being robbed. I think this would be a terrible decision, I ask you how many times do you suspect a singular store gets robbed? Mine gets robbed upwards of 50times a day.... that's 500k stolen from my store.. Since I bought it the store has generated 500k in profit in 8months.... so, I think that is an unfair suggestion especially since confiscated money gets turned into the city hall and doesn't go back to stores. If this is a suggestion you wish to pursue I would suggest that stores that are robbed log photos that are uploaded to the owners phone upon the hands up, there would also need to be away for cops to get in touch with the criminals to RP investigations and criminals would need to agree that an investigation may take a few weeks to conclude and when the crime is placed not to instantly file reports against the faction. Currently if the cop doesn't see you on the property there is zero chance of getting caught, but there is a man standing there that could easily describe your clothing, voice, car, hair tattoos etc, but this is an not option currently. So there would need to be support on this side also. This will also mean prices will skyrocket to compensate, as it costs money for product purchase, trucking, and taxes (@35%) I'm sorry that you feel store owners are getting rich but I can assure you, if your paying exuberant prices you should shop around there are a fair few that pay high for freight and charge low for stock. (example I charge 175$ for a bottle of water, and pay 5,000 for a delivery), you just gotta find the right shops.

Reviewing the recent updates and development stuff I see a lot focused on bug repair and add ins for the general population. The alternative law enforcement faction was created to allow more folks to join the law side of the rp, as well as to increase player counts in the county rather then just the city, the introduction of the Department of Corrections was to generate RP for players while they spend time in jail, along with jobs in jail, was to create more for the criminal based players. Stating that the majority of updates are for pd/sd in development are mostly due to bugs within our program scripting, also a lot of the departments changes are due to IC requests for different equipment and stem from a need to respond to criminal rp and the way groups carry themselves. (prime example would be if the national guard is a thing would be in retaliation to the huge criminal organizations that populate the city unchecked.) I understand both sides as I was once a criminal and still hop on now and again to enjoy some of the less strict roleplay options that are there. When I played my criminal frequently I focused on internal rp within the faction that 95% of the time didn't need script support or commands or items created by the server, these were some of the best times I had roleplaying my criminal was for the RP rather then a shoot'emup or a chase. Either way I feel both sides are getting a good amount of the developers attentions, as Aldraine stated it takes time to develop stuff especially from scratch, it can take months to work out the kinks in stuff. My suggestion, if you have ideas, and based on the way we in PD present our suggestions we spend a lot of time drafting up what we would like to see. Example Below Suggest = (Title of your suggestion) Does it require development = Yes/No What is the benefit of the request = (detailed explanation of what this suggestion will create for members of the server, not just criminals/cops but the community as a whole) Suggestions should take time, and explain what is needed, not just "its boring give us more to do", if you want more to do, come up with some ideas. A lot of the current stuff in the server from activities are supported by the vanilla GTA or RAGE, these are faster, easier and generally less buggy when adding to the server, creating something from scratch takes a lot of time and effort to create, thus I can imagine that the development team would like to see what they can expect from the creation and implication of a new activity prior to spending months creating it. So make suggestions and focus on a way to present your ideas in a cohesive thought will make it a lot easier for them. Good luck.

The pd didn't write the penal code it was written a long time ago, a couple laws were added because of IC reasons and by ic discussions. Prison times were reduced alot and fines are in place to compensate for the fact that people get a huge government cheque every hour.

I like the idea, but your talking a huge forum based position, and well frankly I know i would much rather not have to be the one doing it, your talking based on the number of arrests, you would be looking at 500+ cases to review a day, with evidence from both sides. You would also need to make a way for /record to store video as there are players that don't have the computer power to record. You'd also need a way to validate rp that it actually happened... the leg work for each case would be huge, and would force pd members to spend even more time on the forums and it would be forced, you would see a decrease in PD as we didn't come to a roleplay server to play forum warriors. I like the idea but you'd need to figure out how to make it work so that it didn't result in hours of forum work, and also what happens to people while the charges are pending, i would hope we aren't going to let a murder roam the streets while his case is reviewed.

I agree, obviously a body cant be arrested, but could allow for /ldo with said player to collect evidence from the scene as often times, there isn't much that can be done when we find a body... its oh, well someone got shot... so we clean up the body and get rid of it... that's the extent of pd rp for over 50% of bodies found, it would be nice if we could id them, then /ldo officers find a body, what would the cause of death be? then they can do some rp on scene, collect abit of evidence... especially with so many businesses having cctv on their exteriors now it would lead to rp for both sides, and more investigations for folks to partake in.

+1 , whilst I understand the concerns pertaining to Chopping cars, but this is about RP, not about grinding money, this community isn't intended to be about money but rather about rp and player interactions... currently I will get a handful of 911 calls a shift saying "my car was stolen from parking lot" so I pull up and guy tells me "I just took it out and guy jumped in it and was gone"... this isn't rp this is abuse of a server script, as rply these cars would be secured in a secure compound inside the parking lot... not just poof into existence. Thus lets rp folks! its why we are here!!!!

well trip from depot to my store is 10mins by truck, shipments are about 5mins to load and unload... i generally pay 2-3k each trip sooo i think im paying fair considering 50% of the time its a criminal that im paying, if i could hire a singular trucker to haul for me when i need him to, i would pay more knowing hes not a crook!

I agree its a good idea, but understand that by forcing stores to pay more for trucking, your going to see increased prices of products as store owners try to recoup costs. My advice is use the CB radio and communicate with other truckers, and don't go! I realize its hard, but that's the only way you will ge shop owners to pay more.

Hello Citizens of Los Santos, the Speed Cameras were installed on behalf of City hall, not the Los Santos Police Department, or the San Andreas Sheriffs. The speed cameras were introduced because of the drivers in the city constantly and consistently striking civilians both on the side walk and crossing the roads. These incidents, as failing to drive responsible is not an accident, but is a direct and reckless action, caused both the medical and police teams to be overwhelmed with excess calls from civilians being stricken whilst on sidewalks and cross walks. Since the implication of the speed cameras we have seen a decrease of Motor Vehicle Incidents in the affected areas by roughly 68% and some areas to the point of 79%.... these number aside from fines that non civilized drivers are paying, have in them selves justified the implication and maintenance of the cameras. Should the citizens of Los Santos learn to drive in a respectful and civilized manor then perhaps we can discuss their removal, but whilst roughly 200 reckless operation charges are placed a week by both officers and cameras, we are far from that point. @GOATwhilst you may disagree with the city implementing cameras designed to increase safety of both civilian and motorist you are a law enforcement agent thus you will report to have a conversation pertaining to speaking out on behalf of the department with neither the authority or the permission to do so. well I don't know about other stores profits but if I felt the hurt for the constant robberies my store gets I can tell you the 350$ burger and 175$ water would be come 1500 and 1000 pretty quick, as frankly my store is robbed every 10mins... thus it would be closed up pretty quickly.... perhaps if they implemented a way for me to protect my store from robberies as the cameras and stuff currently don't record, if when the store is being robbed it texted pictures to my phone that I could see and send then perhaps that's an option. But you would certainly see huge price increases to cover costs of stolen money.

I agree with the suggestion, If you break out, then you would get the additional "Prison Break charge" Plus an additional charges for actions taken to escape... Generally Hostage taking, assault with deadly weapons, felony evading and often murder of government workers (yes DOC count) Prison time you "escaped" should be a remaining counter like the above suggestion... you have 4 hours serve 2.... you have 2left pls charges you accumulate during your escape. (which would be all recorded ic via the CCTV in the prison) Also when someone escapes, they should automatically have a warrant out for their recapture as I can assure you that you break out of any prison in the world... the guards/warden is gonna know which prisoner is missing... your not gonna get out, and be able to go the local bar and not get picked back up like people do now.... Escaping prison =/= freedom... just means your on the run and should be rp'd that way, and imo if you had a jail break this week already... and you have outstanding time because of it. you shouldn't be able to escape again until you have served that time (including new charges) as RL your gonna be watched so closely you will have someone attached to you.

-1 Still tons of calls during peak times, often times a lot go un answered. Additional units arriving on a traffic stop, perhaps they were in a pursuit 10mins ago with a similar vehicle. Cost of living, all I can say is as a store owner, my prices are equal to or less then that of the old store prices, you just need to find the store. I hate to say it but criminals shouldn't all be driving around 400k $ cars and running about with 15aks in reserve. This is just an indicator that criminals have money, and a bunch of it. As cops, sheriffs don't purchase guns, or accumulate fines, we often have a lot of liquid funds. ( I have personally put in over 3million from my own wallet into giveaways for general population.) Hosted events, and so on. Rewards for criminals, your reward is the RP, same as the reward for cops, sheriffs or medics. As we can't transfer money around we buy a nice car, nice house then throw our money into silly things... like giving to new players or events etc. You shouldn't be here to grind $$, your here to rp, be that as a cop, a sheriff, paramedic, corrections officer, trucker, car thief, or gang member. You didn't come to an rp server to grind money, you came for RP and fun... if you want money in GTA... play online!

The state of San Andreas is introducing two new items to the penal code: First introduction is in regards to people covering their faces within the state; after a exhaustive study, we came to the conclusion people don't need to hide their faces in public spaces of San Andreas. Due to the facts we mentioned before, we are adding a new citation and a new misdemeanor to our Penal Code. General Citation - 07 - Face Concealment. - $500 Fine. (a) No person or persons, while wearing any mask, hood, or device whereby any portion of the face is hidden, concealed, or covered as to conceal the identity of the wearer, shall: (1) Enter upon, be, or appear upon any lane, walk, alley, street, road highway, or another public way in the State of San Andreas (2) Enter upon, be, or appear upon or within the public property of the State of San Andreas; or (3) Hold any manner of meeting or demonstration. People want realism when it comes to limitations on others.... Cop Cruisers, Supercars, Prison RP.... People wanted something to do in prison, so poker was introduced, a way to make money was introduced. It was agreed by a vast majority if there was stuff to do then prison times would increase.... so they did that.... now people complaining because "I had to actually rp in jail after killing a bunch of people". Like others have said, this is an RP server. You want to be a cop killer expect to do the time. Also if you go to prison, your time is in the form of years... if I recall what was said on multiple forum reports, once your incarcerated you lose all rights to kill the officers involved as you would be in jail for YEARs... not minutes. You want to introduce a court system, cool. Come up with a plan on how it will work, create the guides, get some people who know what they are doing and make a plan. Pertaining to times for certain crimes. That has been public knowledge since before I joined eclipse 18 months ago, if you haven't taken the time to find it or ask about it ICly then that's on you. You want us to spend hours and hours dealing with one arrest report to compile evidence... taking us hours, im game, but your going to sit in a holding cell while I do it and not get credited for time served. It might take me an hour... might take me 6, but if im going to do it your going to be in a cell not running around town. This is a game and realism is something that is never going to be achieved as with the crime rates on eclipse, we would need 5 cops for every criminal to match crime rates in the city compared to the RL city its modeled after. 2ndly.... you get 45mins for killing a cop when realistically its LIFE without parol, and in some areas... death penalty but on eclipse no one fears death, because oh "i'm dieing, grab my shit, meet me at the hospital" <- is far to common across the board. Whens the last time you died, and actually RP'd having died, and forgetting everyone.

If they were used to control a scene then that is acceptable by our PD internal policies, police are permitted to use the blue ones (breakable) to slow/damage cars. But what your saying seems more like an ic issue to me. If there were officers inside that scene or other players and you had struck them im certain you would be facing mass VDM, if not worse. So the red barricades used to control scenes are there for your safety (against hitting players and getting a rule violation) and for their safety from getting VDM'd as you cant actually shot or kill anyone without RPing with them first now!

I would love to see someone drive through a barrier at 210kph and not damage their car... have you ever hit a racoon at 100kph? what about a deer? well think about a piece of plywood with steel legs? you would have a hold in your radiator, and your car overheat within a couple miles, not to mention if your lucky enough to not endup with wood/steel in the car. If you want to make it more realistic, please stop rolling cars down mountains, then turn the key and drive off.... or Running and jumping from 4 storey buildings. Drive through a traffic post, and not slow down? or head on collision with another car, "hey man you good" , "yea" "me too, cya". The indestructible barricades are now used to prevent players for mass VDM ing people on a scene where attention is given to the rp, and not the manic doing 210kph on a highway that rply has thousands of cars on it. Destructible barricades are used to interfere with pursuits as are spike strips, as it wouldn't make a whole lotta sense for a car to drive through barricades, cruisers and people without slowing down. The red and white barricades are a GTA item and can't be made destructible hence why PD changed their use to only manage and protect officers from people not paying attention or mass VDMs. The blue ones that officers use are destructible but I would expect you to RP damage to your car if your going to be doing that.

Issue I have here, is that in Real life, if you are unable to pay your fines the government will seize assets =/> then that of the fines... meaning house, car, garnish income etc.... this isn't a thing nore is a debt system. Introduce a debt system, and then sure, but you would have to buy everything with cash, and should your house get raided by a criminal or the police, be prepared to lose everything, as if your a cop killer, you'd have cops banging on your door every hour. And if you own the property or rent it you would be registered with the property registery thus your house location address would all be accessible to police, vehicles registered would also be available. So yes, sure store your cash in your house, but to balance it out and to match up with the powers closer to real, have it so PD and GOV't can see houses own'd by players with warrants... currently I don't even think admins can see that, only developers. Their time is precious as it is, im sure they don't want to be helping find houses of players for warrants to search and seize property....
