The registration was approved, the licensing paperwork was submitted, we got the go ahead from a government official for our ‘Opening Night’.

Ad.png.a54eb789b183ab3de515f2603217b181.png

We began by calling Weazel and putting in a request for bulk ads to be run and drove to insignia to have a blip added to the GPS so that people would know exactly where to find us. Over the coming few days the members got all hands on deck preparing for the night alongside working their government jobs. Alcohol was stocked up, the opening night setlist was created and the roles were assigned. All the members pulled up to the club with lots of time to spare and made sure that we had all bases covered.

The time reached for the first club opening that had happened in the city in some time had come, they announced to the few people who were there that they were ready to search and take payment and let them in the building. Don Mozzarella was DJing inside the building, Gary Taylor was behind the bar before swapping out with Asbjorn Schmidt, Bez Meowington and Winter Black provided PG entertainment besides the DJ decks and everyone else made sure that the security in the event was smooth and it ran without trouble. Towards the end they had an impromptu karaoke session to sign off the night.

After the club was closed nearly three hours later, the members decided to celebrate the success of the night and the fact they were now closer to their treasury goal with an off road excursion in their Biftas and Kamachos (featuring one Caracara). They all had a lot of fun even if most of the vehicles needed a repair after the fact.

With a successful opening night, it was decided that any member who wished to host their own night with their own music sets need only to let the club know and members would assist them in opening the club up and hosting the night. Club Insignia will be open more frequently providing nights for every kind of taste of music in the future and Burnout Nation looks forward to enjoying it all with everyone!

Hello everyone, we're currently working on a fairly large post about an important event that happened recently, but something amazing happened just after that event. We gained our official status as a civilian faction! We'd like to thank all of our members as well as everyone who has shown us support IC and OOC. We'd like to thank everyone who has read our faction thread and posts as well as liking commenting and telling us what you think. We're constantly striving to achieve new heights with our RP and we hope that you'll all get involved with things we have planned for the future!

Much love from Maccy, Bez and Asbjorn

They met in the summer of 2018, when Bez caught Maccy trying to steal her car. Not your typical first meeting, but in that moment Bez saw a man who needed a chance to lead a new life. A life on the right side of the law and a life to help those in situations like he was in at that moment.

And so they became friends, they leaned on each other and supported each other as their love blossomed and they realised that day they met, it was fate.

b1HQm1p.png

Due to their histories they decided they needed a change, a move to somewhere new. Just them, together, a scary but exciting journey ahead.

They arrived in Los Santos, Bez struggled at first to adjust to the city, always looking over her shoulder. Maccy on the other hand settled in fairly quickly and made friends who quickly welcomed Bez too.

A couple months into their new city, Maccy took Bez for a little trip up a mountain and it was there he got on his knee and proposed to her. Bez was so surprised she nearly fell off the mountain! Of course she said yes!

b1HQm1p.png

The wedding was always on their minds but things happened, as they do in life, which meant that the wedding was put on hold. Bez and Maccy knew they needed everything to be more settled before they planned it.

They kept busy with working at Bayview and starting their own car club with their best friends. Burnout Nation was created and it took a lot of time and serious consideration to get it right!

b1HQm1p.png

A few months in, over thirty members, and a solid foundation later, Maccy was ready to go. One day Bez woke up and Maccy told her to get ready and hop in his truck, she found some of the Burnout Nation members waiting too.

Curious, she asked what was going on, yet no proper answer was given. They drove to the destination and all hopped out of the truck.

"Hmm, what's this?" she asked, "possible wedding venue.." Maccy replied, with a grin on his face. He took her hand and led her around the area. It was perfect. Her eyes were wide as she looked around, taking it all in, she knew this is where they would get married.

b1HQm1p.png

There was another place they wanted her to see, so they hopped back in the truck and drove there. It was an amazing house, the garden had a pool and steps that lead to a lake. It was stunning. They informed her that this house could be used for the party after the wedding! "yes please!" she beamed.

HHLlzHv.png

Maccy began his preparations by asking Jamie if he could take care of the decorations and furniture at the venue to which he gladly accepted the task. He also asked around for a minister to ordain the marriage and Don offered to get ordained purely to marry them. After this, Maccy began to draft up wedding invites, ensuring to get the GPS location and necessary information on the invite. He then sent all of these invites via text and provided some more information as well as asking invitees to RSVP.

The two week wait began to pass by and Maccy stuck his head into work to ensure he’d completed his hours at work with Bez before the weekend of the wedding arrived. On Wednesday the week before the wedding he asked the boys to come to city parking. When they arrived he was waiting with his Guardian truck and asked them all to hop in. After setting off he informed them that he was going to be taking them suit shopping, aware that the girls were going to be going dress shopping at the same time. They visited Ponsonby’s in Rockford Hills where he browsed the selection of suits available in the luxury establishment. Wanting to represent both his and Bez’s personalities, and the family to which he and Bez belonged, he picked a white suit jacket with colourful accents and colourful suit pants and shoes.

L5m277x.png

He then picked out the wedding rings from the jewelry selection and they left to go store these items in a safe location and turn their focus back to the club night they were going to be running that friday. In this time Maccy asked Asbjorn if he would be his best man and he agreed immediately, humbled that he was the choice.

b1HQm1p.png

Bez met up with Hazel and Winter to go dress shopping, she had asked Winter to be her Maid of Honor and Hazel to be her bridesmaid. Since starting Burnout Nation the three of them had become very close and it just made sense for Bez to have those two at her side for this important day.

They arrived at the store, all excited to try on dresses, not entirely sure what they were looking for but open to anything colourful. It took some time, a lot of mmms and ahhhs but finally they all had their dresses and shoes. Of course they took a few selfies to remember the day! And with that done, they headed to the barbers so Bez could have a hairstyle consultation.

HHLlzHv.png

The day had arrived! Bez met with Hazel at the barbers and had her hair done, Winter was running late.. As usual.

Hazel and Bez headed to Hazel's apartment to get ready, bumping into Jamie on the way. Jamie had been to get the Issi Classic repainted, especially for the big day! White with a cute baby pink! It was perfect!

At the apartment they all got ready, and Bez had a glass of wine as she found herself becoming so nervous. This was it. The big day. The day she had been waiting for. What happens after this? What's next for us all? The nerves and excitement mixing between themselves, she paced the apartment almost in a daze. Finally Winter arrived at the last moment and got ready, the group took a few photos and made their way outside to the cars.

b1HQm1p.png

In the meantime Maccy had arrived at the venue with all of the rest of the guys and begun to greet guests, ensuring parking was perfect and shooing away those who were interested in causing trouble with the cars. He radioed in once he felt as though everyone who was going to show was there and informed Jamie and Hazel to begin bringing Bez.

After the wedding, Bez and Maccy hopped into the Issi Classic and led the way to the reception party. Once there, the booze was swiftly flowing and music pumping out of the speakers. Dancing and chatter filled the air, laughter and congratulations all around. The mood was set and they were ready to party into the night.

At one point, the couple was asked to stand on the stairs as Burnout Nation wanted to give them their present, or at least tell them what it was. They had all grouped together and purchased Bez and Maccy an apartment! They knew Bez and Maccy had been left pretty devastated with what had happened with their previous property and felt like there was no better gift for them both. Bez and Maccy were so grateful and thanked their family for the gift, and they all returned to dancing.

The Burnouts had recently gotten more serious since the licensing for Club Insignia was approved, and decided to start hosting events. Don brought up the idea of a car show at a meeting, and the rest of the Burnouts seemed to get very excited to see where this will go. Don let everyone know that he can handle emailing someone higher up in the LSPD, and could speak to a government official about setting it up, luckily his boss at Bayview, Tyrone Cox works at city hall as well as Bayview...

1103916478_TheLottext.png.50f48cc786378d30ce4b3ea98855ed5c.png

The burnouts in the past have scouted an ideal new location to hangout, and once they planned to do a car show, realized that they could use “The Lot” as a perfect spot to host it. Don talked to Tyrone about the car show, and he liked the idea. Hazel made sure that our licensing was valid for the Burnouts to host an event like this. He then showed Tyrone the location, and Tyrone himself even thought it was a pretty nice area.

preperation.png.f47be20cbdacdc1904a5595b3b81d68b.png

The Burnouts had a busy night planned on the night of the show. From 7:00pm-9:00pm they had to open their club, Club Insignia to help DCC host a going away party for one of their employees, from 9:00pm-9:30pm they decided to support the Irish and show up at the Steamboat, to in a way celebrate a successful club night, then from 10:00pm-12:00 pm they had to host the car show.. A busy night indeed.. The burnouts all met up at “The Lot” after enjoying some drinks and socialization at the Steamboat, and got things sorted and prepared to get the show going. Ads were running, people started showing up, and cars started rolling in.

The Car Show was running smooth, Nathan bought a limousine to act as a gate, and cars were beginning to fill the lot. Most of the Burnouts spent their time socializing with friends of theirs, and meeting new people at the event as well.

show2.thumb.png.5402002140db5bbe0d583ac5905ebd33.png

As the show went on, a few more contestants showed up to try and win the cash prize, and a good amount of people decided to put up some speakers and vibe on top of the ramp where the contestants were parked.

As the show went on, there were a few unique vehicles that came as well. A couple people brought a Space Docker, which a few people were interested in looking at.

Soon, the Judging would begin...

winners.png.0804736a62a155ac0f9e85297d94f1ce.png

Don and Jamie decided to make the announcement that judging would begin!

megaphone.png.4393b9f38e28ffc5d2a2c80ebd75e59e.png

It was almost like a storm of emotion, everyone in the crowd of contestants, and general entrees got excited to hear that the cars would be getting judged soon and began to start pointing out positive things about everyone’s cars, trying to sway the judges' decisions…

jamiendon.thumb.png.39343fcc1dcb702e56eb289b38a67d48.png

Jamie and Don have judged a majority of the cars, and were finally making their way through the final cars. Jamie and Don decided that the orange Thrax, and the blue hot rod Hustler were the two favorites of theirs, and after a short conversation about the two cars, they chose the Hustler as the Judges pick. After that, Don announced that the crowd pick would begin, so people began to stand next to their favorite cars. After about 5 minutes, the voting ended, and Dwayne Smith was declared the winner of the crowd choice with his Orange Thrax, followed by the announcement of Stefan Ognjenovic winning the judges pick with his Blue Hustler

Crowd.thumb.png.de76c9de9528a3cc434c5b31310f9da4.png

After people started leaving, Don went to the bank and gave the two winners their prizes, and asked if they would be willing to come back to The Lot for a picture. Stefan agreed, but Dwayne was too busy to take a picture, so Don and Stefan headed back to The Lot and took some pictures for Lifeinvader.

Nathan came up with the idea that Burnouts should host a street race for the city of Los Santos. He came to Don to get some help with the setup and planning of the event. They talked about what they would need and who they need to be in contact with to make this event happen. They went down to the docks to see if there was any way they could make a good race track down there. They came up with an amazing track that they forwarded to PD.

permission_granted.png.e086cb4489c6a846bf083e56e79ca587.png

Don talked to the Government and they told them to get in contact with the LSPD to get a green light to go ahead with the event. So Don and Nathan went down to PD to get in contact with the Traffic division to clarify what they would need to give them the go ahead. They said that they needed a place where it's safe and where we don't interrupt the working people in Los Santos. After a couple of days of back and forth emails, Don got an email from the Traffic Enforcement Division, allowing permission to run the event at the Docks. After getting permission from the TED, they went down to the track, and set up mock barriers, to get an idea of what they would look like on the track.

2002472432_BarrierAndCruiser_Framed.png.4a47780c3063649cad692cbcb3888593.png

Soon after that, they were informed that The Steamboat wanted to sponsor a 2nd and 3rd place prize as well, as long as Burnout Nation promoted the Steamboat opening the same night in their ads.

The_track.png.09d994d9fc62feba6f0dec44540d7ffa.png

Don and Nathan talked to the rest of the crew in Burnout Nation about the race event, and presented the race track they had created. They invited the crew members down to the docks where they tested out the track by themselves and did some timed laps to see what the estimated time would be. This was appreciated by the rest of the crew.

The_big_day.png.8cb4587fbc9505298f827ff1762abfca.png

The day of the event Nathan and Don started preparing the last things that needed to be sorted out. And made sure everything was going to run as smoothly as possible. They met up with the rest of Burnout Nation half an hour before the event to set everything up. Everyone was helpful and made sure to do their bit.

321_GO.png.3bf775d76fcb2e0d42506a81f940412f.png

So everything was set up and Nathan and Don were taking last minute signups at the docks.

Don spoke to Harry Payne of LSSD and was able to get an officer down to the docks to fire a flare gun to show the racers that the race starts.1235637997_SDCar_Framed.png.cfdf9173ca874842b59752b837e71345.png

There were a couple of heats and every racer did it fair beside one that they had to disqualify. It was unfortunate, but the person was still glad to have been a part of the event. We got to the final heat where the last 4 people were about to start the race, you could feel that the race now got more tense and people were hyped up and excited to see who the winners would be.

The final four lined up for the final heat, to determine who will be winning the top 3 prizes.

After a long 3 laps, the winners rolled into the finish line. Everyone congratulated the winners, and Nathan and Don met them at the bank, to give them their prizes and take a couple pictures.

OOC_Thanks.png.3016a609439ef4c6578a4ba0c2bb724e.png

Burnout Nation would like to give a special OOC thanks to a few factions for helping us get all of this setup and organized to run as smoothly as it did. It took alot of OOC time to plan and prepare for this event, so we’d like to thank LSPD, LSEMS, LSSD, Weazel and The Irish.

(Big thanks to server staff for helping us with barriers on the track!)

Ever since his first memory of being sat with a steering wheel in his hands, and feeling the power of the engine course through his body at the turn of the ignition, Maccy Kentworth has adored all things with four wheels and a motor. Perhaps stemming from his need to understand the inner workings of all things, he has educated himself on vehicles as much as humanly possible. Whilst he may have come from a bad environment and his past may be strewn with bad choices, since meeting his now wife Bez Kentworth he has turned his life around and started completely fresh. A now fully legal man living in Los Santos he has started to dedicate himself to acquiring a collection of automobiles to rival that of the richest in Los Santos, and whilst some vehicles may be completely out of his reach he plans to give the same care and attention to the maintenance of the cheapest daily drivers as he will those cars of premium status.

505138863_quote1.png.97d2d4f92f6095b686893fc6378da30f.png

Maccy started by using the most basic and easy to understand classifications for his first goal. That goal was to own a vehicle from each classification. And after pouring many hours into Bayview and freelance work he finally hit it, but there was something missing. Something one of a kind unique with a story.

2099460231_Barnfind.png.10c27446eb5d364e41c2e0cea24fc4dc.png

One night Maccy was hanging out with the born american members of Burnout Nation. He had just finished recruiting Jon McCornish and James Hawkes and them and a couple of their buddies had invited him and Don Mozzarella out for an offroad drive. They headed down to the Redwood Lights offroad race track and were having fun throwing their trucks around on the dirt for a while. Once everyone had got a bit bored and was waiting for a Mechanic to come down and tow a stalled Everon, Maccy decided to take his Rebel off the beaten path a bit. He came across a barn and spotted a beautiful but dilapidated and abandoned car inside. The 1959 Enus Stafford.

gqOFbWj.png

He grabbed a tow truck from Bayview once there were some mechanics on duty and Manager Don had given him permission and drove down to the barn to tow the wreck back to bayview. He stored the shell in the back of Bayview and quickly began scouring the internet and local parts shops for anything to restore the car to its former glory. After sometime and a lot of effort, he was able to turn the key and bring the V8 engine to life.

2111757448_FutureCollecting.png.a2fb96d69f24e331ac68c2b31cc74879.png

With a sizable collection, money isn’t the only issue that arises. Parking and Government vehicle registrations become major problems. With only a few spots left in each of the city and paleto parking garages, Maccy has his sights set on purchasing a few properties in the city purely for the garage space. A future goal to be sure but one he’s keeping in mind as the collection grows.
