    Burnout Nation

Nathan came up with the idea that Burnouts should host a street race for the city of Los Santos. He came to Don to get some help with the setup and planning of the event. They talked about what they would need and who they need to be in contact with to make this event happen. They went down to the docks to see if there was any way they could make a good race track down there. They came up with an amazing track that they forwarded to PD. Don talked to the Government and they told them to get in contact with the LSPD to get a green light to go ahead with the event. So Don and Nathan went down to PD to get in contact with the Traffic division to clarify what they would need to give them the go ahead. They said that they needed a place where it's safe and where we don't interrupt the working people in Los Santos. After a couple of days of back and forth emails, Don got an email from the Traffic Enforcement Division, allowing permission to run the event at the Docks. After getting permission from the TED, they went down to the track, and set up mock barriers, to get an idea of what they would look like on the track. Soon after that, they were informed that The Steamboat wanted to sponsor a 2nd and 3rd place prize as well, as long as Burnout Nation promoted the Steamboat opening the same night in their ads. Don and Nathan talked to the rest of the crew in Burnout Nation about the race event, and presented the race track they had created. They invited the crew members down to the docks where they tested out the track by themselves and did some timed laps to see what the estimated time would be. This was appreciated by the rest of the crew. The day of the event Nathan and Don started preparing the last things that needed to be sorted out. And made sure everything was going to run as smoothly as possible. They met up with the rest of Burnout Nation half an hour before the event to set everything up. Everyone was helpful and made sure to do their bit. So everything was set up and Nathan and Don were taking last minute signups at the docks. Don spoke to Harry Payne of LSSD and was able to get an officer down to the docks to fire a flare gun to show the racers that the race starts. There were a couple of heats and every racer did it fair beside one that they had to disqualify. It was unfortunate, but the person was still glad to have been a part of the event. We got to the final heat where the last 4 people were about to start the race, you could feel that the race now got more tense and people were hyped up and excited to see who the winners would be. The final four lined up for the final heat, to determine who will be winning the top 3 prizes. After a long 3 laps, the winners rolled into the finish line. Everyone congratulated the winners, and Nathan and Don met them at the bank, to give them their prizes and take a couple pictures. 1st Devan Johnz (Middle) 2nd Roland Byrne (Left) 3rd Tyrone Briggs (Right) Burnout Nation would like to give a special OOC thanks to a few factions for helping us get all of this setup and organized to run as smoothly as it did. It took alot of OOC time to plan and prepare for this event, so we’d like to thank LSPD, LSEMS, LSSD, Weazel and The Irish. (Big thanks to server staff for helping us with barriers on the track!) - Burnout Nation
