They met in the summer of 2018, when Bez caught Maccy trying to steal her car. Not your typical first meeting, but in that moment Bez saw a man who needed a chance to lead a new life. A life on the right side of the law and a life to help those in situations like he was in at that moment. And so they became friends, they leaned on each other and supported each other as their love blossomed and they realised that day they met, it was fate. Due to their histories they decided they needed a change, a move to somewhere new. Just them, together, a scary but exciting journey ahead. They arrived in Los Santos, Bez struggled at first to adjust to the city, always looking over her shoulder. Maccy on the other hand settled in fairly quickly and made friends who quickly welcomed Bez too. A couple months into their new city, Maccy took Bez for a little trip up a mountain and it was there he got on his knee and proposed to her. Bez was so surprised she nearly fell off the mountain! Of course she said yes! The wedding was always on their minds but things happened, as they do in life, which meant that the wedding was put on hold. Bez and Maccy knew they needed everything to be more settled before they planned it. They kept busy with working at Bayview and starting their own car club with their best friends. Burnout Nation was created and it took a lot of time and serious consideration to get it right! A few months in, over thirty members, and a solid foundation later, Maccy was ready to go. One day Bez woke up and Maccy told her to get ready and hop in his truck, she found some of the Burnout Nation members waiting too. Curious, she asked what was going on, yet no proper answer was given. They drove to the destination and all hopped out of the truck. "Hmm, what's this?" she asked, "possible wedding venue.." Maccy replied, with a grin on his face. He took her hand and led her around the area. It was perfect. Her eyes were wide as she looked around, taking it all in, she knew this is where they would get married. There was another place they wanted her to see, so they hopped back in the truck and drove there. It was an amazing house, the garden had a pool and steps that lead to a lake. It was stunning. They informed her that this house could be used for the party after the wedding! "yes please!" she beamed. Maccy began his preparations by asking Jamie if he could take care of the decorations and furniture at the venue to which he gladly accepted the task. He also asked around for a minister to ordain the marriage and Don offered to get ordained purely to marry them. After this, Maccy began to draft up wedding invites, ensuring to get the GPS location and necessary information on the invite. He then sent all of these invites via text and provided some more information as well as asking invitees to RSVP. The two week wait began to pass by and Maccy stuck his head into work to ensure he’d completed his hours at work with Bez before the weekend of the wedding arrived. On Wednesday the week before the wedding he asked the boys to come to city parking. When they arrived he was waiting with his Guardian truck and asked them all to hop in. After setting off he informed them that he was going to be taking them suit shopping, aware that the girls were going to be going dress shopping at the same time. They visited Ponsonby’s in Rockford Hills where he browsed the selection of suits available in the luxury establishment. Wanting to represent both his and Bez’s personalities, and the family to which he and Bez belonged, he picked a white suit jacket with colourful accents and colourful suit pants and shoes. He then picked out the wedding rings from the jewelry selection and they left to go store these items in a safe location and turn their focus back to the club night they were going to be running that friday. In this time Maccy asked Asbjorn if he would be his best man and he agreed immediately, humbled that he was the choice. Bez met up with Hazel and Winter to go dress shopping, she had asked Winter to be her Maid of Honor and Hazel to be her bridesmaid. Since starting Burnout Nation the three of them had become very close and it just made sense for Bez to have those two at her side for this important day. They arrived at the store, all excited to try on dresses, not entirely sure what they were looking for but open to anything colourful. It took some time, a lot of mmms and ahhhs but finally they all had their dresses and shoes. Of course they took a few selfies to remember the day! And with that done, they headed to the barbers so Bez could have a hairstyle consultation. The day had arrived! Bez met with Hazel at the barbers and had her hair done, Winter was running late.. As usual. Hazel and Bez headed to Hazel's apartment to get ready, bumping into Jamie on the way. Jamie had been to get the Issi Classic repainted, especially for the big day! White with a cute baby pink! It was perfect! At the apartment they all got ready, and Bez had a glass of wine as she found herself becoming so nervous. This was it. The big day. The day she had been waiting for. What happens after this? What's next for us all? The nerves and excitement mixing between themselves, she paced the apartment almost in a daze. Finally Winter arrived at the last moment and got ready, the group took a few photos and made their way outside to the cars. In the meantime Maccy had arrived at the venue with all of the rest of the guys and begun to greet guests, ensuring parking was perfect and shooing away those who were interested in causing trouble with the cars. He radioed in once he felt as though everyone who was going to show was there and informed Jamie and Hazel to begin bringing Bez. After the wedding, Bez and Maccy hopped into the Issi Classic and led the way to the reception party. Once there, the booze was swiftly flowing and music pumping out of the speakers. Dancing and chatter filled the air, laughter and congratulations all around. The mood was set and they were ready to party into the night. At one point, the couple was asked to stand on the stairs as Burnout Nation wanted to give them their present, or at least tell them what it was. They had all grouped together and purchased Bez and Maccy an apartment! They knew Bez and Maccy had been left pretty devastated with what had happened with their previous property and felt like there was no better gift for them both. Bez and Maccy were so grateful and thanked their family for the gift, and they all returned to dancing.

“Well, we did it. Let’s go.” she said as the six of them walked away from the HQ that was once a place they were welcome. It had been a journey of ups and downs, memories she would keep forever, but together they had all decided it was time to move on and make something new. Fishing was something they all enjoyed, money was easy and conversation came even easier. Many nights spent discussing life and futures, plans made and thought out. Nothing was done in an instant, this was something that had to take time and care to truly come together. A name, what kind of name would be best. So many options were considered, everyone added to the pot, and in the end the one that won was Burnout Nation. It was to be their very own car club, legal and full of friendly welcoming faces who were just looking to meet new people and just have a good time in a city that sometimes seems lonely, scary and confusing. (Full family photo, soon tm) Plans were made and goals set, so to achieve them everyone got to work making money. Bez continued her work at Bayview and soon found herself being promoted from Trainee to Junior Mechanic. She really enjoys her time there, she gets to meet people but also help them which is something she thrives on doing. Before long Burnout Nation had achieved their first goal, a club! Club Insignia was theirs! Bez can't wait for it to be open to the public and show all the great ideas they have. Burnout Nation is growing into a strong family feel group and everyday they become closer and Bez is amazed by the growth, and having twenty members and cannot wait for what happens next… Maybe a wedding?..

Author: Bez Meowington Pictures chosen by: Hazel Adams & Maccy Kentworth The day was finally here, again.. The first attempt at a dinner party was a day tainted with all kinds of mess. But here we were, excited and eager to taste the food that had been described so elegantly to us by the man himself. You couldn't blame us for being somewhat dubious of what we were about to receive due to his playful nature. The question we were all thinking, but not saying.. Can he actually cook?! The day began with Maccy and Asbjorn taking a trip to the store for ingredients. Asbjorn was raring to go and spent no time finding the items he needed, happy with their purchases they headed back to Asbjorn's apartment, also known as the current Burnout Nation HQ. Asbjorn got straight to work, wasting no time prepping the food ready for cooking once the rest of the club arrived. He decided he would ask Frost and Maccy to help him out by cutting and mincing the bison meat he'd bought earlier. Unfortunately Maccy and Frost did not follow the instructions given and added some extra ingredients, Asbjorn was not impressed and promptly sent them back to the store to collect more meat. Once back, he had them chop and mince it, this time watching over them to ensure it was done correctly. After all, this was the meat for his BurnoutBurger ™ and this was his first time letting anyone try his creation so it had to be perfect! Once the prep was done members of the club began to arrive, first they had a Grid meeting to discuss rules of the club and to finish up the logbook. It was now ready to be printed off and handed out to everyone, and any new members. Once done, Asbjorn went straight into the kitchen, the club members gathered around to watch him go to work in an outfit he bought just for the occasion. Chatting between themselves and with him as the smell of food filled the apartment, a rich mouth watering scent wrapping around them like a blanket on a cold day. At last, the first course was complete! Everyone gathered around the table as Winter and Asbjorn served the food, it looked amazing! But how would it taste? Everyone hastily grabbed their spoons and dug in, the room went silent for only a moment before erupting with exclamations of delight and wonder! The carbonara Asbjorn had cooked was delicious, every bite left them wanting more, it was mouth watering, soul fulfilling perfectly cooked. Not a complaint in the house! Asbjorn then announced he would be beginning to cook the next course, "there's more?" the club members asked surprised there was still more food to come after such a delicious creation already! Yes there's more he exclaimed, and began to cook his burgers, taking time and care to get them perfect. With a little help from Bez passing him things the burgers were ready to go, everyone rushed to grab one. Once again the room was filled with appreciative sounds and gestures. And finally! The last course. Dessert! A chocolate mousse that Asbjorn had made earlier, was quickly dished out and eaten just as quickly. During this, Hank arrived at the HQ and was given a copy of the logbook and had a chat with Maccy. The chat went well, and Burnout Nation welcomed a new member to the family.
